Guest Reviews
- Cally (7/5): Quite relaxing weekend - Location was great, bathrooms had been renovated. Hosts were great at communicating and lovely and checked in. Had baby facilities, air con and fans worked great! Photos were a bit deceiving, no outdoor setting on deck as per photos, yard was very unkept, cleaners could probably move furniture and clean under things, looked like it hadn’t been done in while. Fire detector was open and hanging from roof in lounge room

- Cheryl (5/5): Nice house in a good location, but not value for money. - Good location. Easy parking. Close to shops etc. Not value for money. For the price, I expected a higher standard. We stayed 10 nights and were only provided one set of towels. Only one gas burner on the stovetop heated sufficiently.
- Rob (7/5): Beautiful but a bit careless - The Fairy Wren Cottage is indeed a charming Queenslander with beautiful paintings, and it's nice and clean and comfortable. The other Queenslander houses are great as well in the area, and there's a big park up the hill. We enjoyed our stay!! The host can be a bit slow with messages, there was rubbish in the garden, no balls and only one bat was provided for the table tennis table, and there's no dryer, with a clothesline under the house where you bang your head as you hang up clothes. 😬😅
This part of Annerley can have an industrial smell in the air at times that the locals describe as a 'cat-urine' smell. 🤔

- Kin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Samara (9/5): Superb - the activites left for the kids were absolutely amazing, loved the paintings on the wall. There was no hair dryer
- Tammy (7/5): Lovely quiet place in a great location. - Location was excellent and very quiet. Front veranda was a nice place to sit morning and night. Lack of Outside Space. No yard for kids or pets.
- Cherry (9/5): Superb - We had a comfortable stay, the house is clean and spacious.
- Luke (9/5): Great location, great communication & service - Great location & great communication from host
- Anthony (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tania (7/5): Good - Such a pretty home with beautiful art, furniture and colour. Good to have off-street parking and the lovely wide verandahs. The host was friendly. The garden needs a tidy, more kitchen items are needed and the towels need an update.
- Heidi (8/5): Excellent location, lots of extras included - Excellent location. Great sized bath tub & 2 bathrooms and toilets. Great sized rooms and cupboards. Lots of little extras included. Very neat and tidy. Quiet area. Nicely decorated - loved the wren artwork everywhere. The oven didn’t work. Husband couldn’t watch normal TV channels as no antenna. Very narrow street so sometimes hard to get the car out when people parked in the street.
- Jasmin (7/5): Was a nice experience, wouldn't pay that much again for it. - Becca ( the host ) seemed lovely and approachable. I loved the welcome note written on the white board and chalk board, thought that was a nice touch. The house was clean and cosy, great for a family. The oven didn't work, we only found out upon check-in, which wasn't too much of a problem as we only stayed two nights and used the BBQ. I have a bad back and would have loved the main bedroom mattress to have a soft topper on as the memory foam mattress was very firm. I thought the house was very over priced at $350 / night considering it's normality, although I guess it's just a case of location, location, location.
- Tristan (10/5): Fantastic stay close to the city - It was amazing reminded me the house I had in New Zealand love the timber floors
