• Christoph (4/5): Disappointing - Good location. Several small things made the stay not as pleasant as expected, like eg rather old furniture and mattresses, the kitchen was not really well equipped, internet was very slow. The place just feels not very well maintained.
• Lisa (7/5): Needs work - The bed was comfy but that didn't make for the fact there were so many things wrong - I think this is because the owners live away, appear to not visit the property and leave the running of the rental to a cleaning company. There was an empty box when an iron used to be, there is a broken microwave that doesn't even turn on, there is an old plastic table cloth just screwed up and left in the cutlery cupboard...there are two hair dryers - one old with a dangerous lead, not working - why just leave it there? The working hairdryer had the lead wound so tight around it that it will eventually damage the lead...All the crockery and pans I used, I had to wash before use as the cleaners are not checking it's clean, they are just making sure it's in the cupboards but they are not doing an inventory check as there were no wine glasses to be found!. There is no kettle but there is a coffee machine - there were no complimentary pods so I don't know if it worked or not as I wasn't going to buy a pack of pods for a two night stay..... The walls have lots of marks, especially dirty finger marks around light fittings which should be cleaned off as a part of a standard clean. Booking.com make you aware that there is a charge for towels and tourist tax when you arrive but there is no option to opt out of the towels so not sure why it's paid separately. I was also reminded that these charges were payable no less than 4 times - I got it the first time! One huge plus was I stupidly left my phone in the apartment at the end of my stay like a total idiot - because the owners can remotely unlock the doors, they were able to let me back in to get my phone - thank goodness I'd written their numbers down otherwise I would have had to wait for the cleaners to arrive. Cleanliness, broken and missing inventory items, excessive reminders to pay tourist tax and towels - 3 times before I even got to the apartment. Also, the shower doesn't hold it's temperature one minute freezing, the next scalding then freezing again - I 've never known water so hot out of a shower. This really does need to be fixed before someone is scalded.

• Alona (6/5): Normal apartment but I would not comeback - Advantages • Location: Convenient and central. • Quiet Bedroom: The bedroom away from the road is very quiet. • Spacious: The apartment is large, with two bedrooms. • Good Check-In: Smooth and efficient check-in process. • Excellent Communication: Fast and pleasant communication. • Fully Equipped: The apartment has all necessary amenities. • Clean: The apartment is very clean. • Extra Child’s Bed: An additional bed for a child is available. • Bidet: There is a bidet in the bathroom. • Washing Machine and Dishwasher: Both appliances are available. • Shutters for Darkness: The windows have shutters that provide good darkness. • Comfortable Bed: The mattress and pillows are of good quality. • Tram Sounds in the Children’s Room: Trams can be heard in the children’s room, but my son loves them, so it was fine for us. Disadvantages • Dirty Sofa: The sofa was dirty. • Very Slow Internet: The internet speed is very slow. • Microwave Not Working: The microwave does not work. • Cigarette Smell: There is a cigarette smell in the apartment. • Leaking Shower Head: The shower head was leaking badly, but it was replaced the next day. • Bathroom Fan Not Working: The fan in the bathroom is not working. • Extra Charge for Towels: There is an additional charge for towels. • Fine for Unwashed Dishes: There is a notice of a 25 euro fine for unwashed dishes, which is confusing since there is a dishwasher in the apartment. • Limited Toilet Paper: Only one roll of toilet paper for two people for three days. • Complicated Lighting: The lighting is complicated to operate and requires time to figure out the switches. • No Cutting Board: There is no cutting board, and the tablecloth was already cut by someone. • Needs Minor Renovation: The apartment needs a light cosmetic renovation. • Coffee Machine and Dishwasher Without Supplies: There is a coffee machine and a dishwasher, but no capsules for the coffee machine.

• Jain (3/5): Disappointed. Too costly for the services offered. - Location is good. Wifi was not working, host tried to help. And finally it was working by night, although the speed was slow. Interiors are good but requires a lot of maintenance. Problems: Bathroom lock is broken and can’t be locked Bedroom door handle was broken and fell on my foot. Handle was quite heavy, could’ve been seriously hurt. Cobwebs with spiders. Wifi was not working and finally was corrected by the end of the night. The wifi speed was very slow. No lift.

• Andreig (7/5): Good - The apartment is very nice, close to the train station and the central area, the means of public transport are close but you can reach them faster on foot. The apartment is very nice but needs renovations, no investments have been made. Detergent for the dishwasher and washing machine, a few capsules for the coffee machine would be welcome at the beginning.

• Seongmo (10/5): Exceptional - The facility was so good and clear. In addition, the location was near of the tourist attractions. It was hard to contact the host a bit, so taking time to enter the apartment.

• Teresa (5/5): Convenient location, but needs some TLC - The location was convenient and easy to access from the train. The staff were responsive to fixing damage to tap from the previous tenant. Heating and cooling worked very well. The bathroom is clean and recently remodelled. The wood floors were nice. The apartment is quite run down overall. There was damage to two of the curtains, which do nothing to block any light anyway. There are not enough batteries to power the various remote controls for air conditioning, tv, etc. The lighting in the apartment is odd, with many switches and unusual light fittings, some of which were missing or unfinished. Damage to tv cabinet, other wall fixtures, and almost nothing on the walls (paintings, etc). Also stains on furniture. Quite unlike the photos. There are no lights in the staircase approaching the apartment, so that was inconvenient and unsafe.
• Meenakshy (10/5): Exceptional - The room was so good and neat. We were travelling with an infant and it was so comfortable and easy. The bathroom, kitchen, bedroom all are neat clean and well maintained. They have also provided basic utensils to use in kitchen. The location is perfect and close to Santa Maria Novella. Lot of restaurants nearby. Tram station is 5min away from apartment. The wifi speed was low.

Certain small things can be improved to make the stay even better. - Not excellent but good location, spacious and enough amount of beds for good accommodation, responsive and kind owner upon contact. Good for family and small groups. There were things that lacked and made our stay a bit negative: dirty kitchen walls and floor, no information about how to find and connect to wifi (it turned out that the router was on top of the fridge with wifi password written on it, you have to be a detective), no extra trash bag, no dish washer luquid for hand washing and no dishwasher tablet for the machine which smelled bad. There was an espresso machine but without any complimentary capsules. The water basin sink was clogged and could not be fixed despite the owner was kind enough to send someone. It became really nasty to wash hands there during our 3 days. The little room is close to the roadside and the tram noise and motorbikes did not allow one to sleep if you do not use ear plugs. You have to pay 5 euros/person for the towels which is a strange thing.
