Guest Reviews
- Ozan (3/5): Would not go there again - the host was reachable if we called. Prior to the checkin time we did not receive instructions for opening the door and other stuff. We had to call the host ourselves.
There was not enough toilet paper. And when asked the host did not respond.
The doors were not closing properly, my room key was taped together. The room could not get locked from the inside which caused security concerns and also sound was not isolated because of that. There was no privacy and it was hard to sleep because of the noises of the front door and other guests entering the rooms and making loud noises.
On the last night there were really loud noises from other guests who entered around 4:30 am. At some point it was getting out of hand and there was some drama in the main area. Since our door did not close properly we really felt unsafe.
The beds were also really unstable and uncomfortable.
- Sarfaraz (1/5): Bad -
- Gaz (8/5): Very good - I liked the spacious room and facilities. Bed was surprisingly comfortable. Pillows were good. couldn't access my allotted room because they key didn't fit on the lock, I got given another perfectly adequate room but it was an annoying ten minutes. The llight to the kitchen doesn't work.
- Zahra (5/5): Passable - Vicinity Staff
- Nicola (8/5): comfy 4 night stay - The owner went out of his way to accommodate my late arrival due to train cancellation. The accommodation is clean and acceptable, 5 mins walk from Aldgate and Aldgate East in a mix of residential and commercial properties. Quiet and comfortable. The accommodation is a bit dated in places but still very adequate.
