• Brenda (10/5): Excellent property in prime location with superb host - Alain is a superb host. He sent out detailed  check in and out information well in advance, with photos to guide us clearly. He showed his hospitality towards guests, e.g. prepared welcome chocolate and beer, provided olive oil and vinegar in the kitchen.  The property was superb too. The triplex is located on the ground floor, so we did not need to carry our heavy luggages up the stairs. The internal stairs of the triplex  were no big deal.  The location is excellent, just minutes of walk to various tourist spots, supermarkets, restaurants, train stations and netro. My husband and I enjoyed our stay so much. Thanks to our superb host Alain. Would be the best if the worn-out glass bottle of the coffee machine was replaced, though it still works.
• Patricia (8/5): Would recommend- great location - The location of the apartment was great - very central and walkable to the centre and attractions. It was quiet and secure , the bed was very comfy and the apartment was clean . Alain was also very responsive and helpful. There were really no negatives- I was aware of the stairs on booking -they didn’t cause us any issues - hot water took a little while to come on but once on it was very hot

• Leyf leaf (9/5): À deux pas du Manneken Pis, calme et confort sportif! - Excellent appartement avec toutes les petites attentions qu'on en attend, et un hôte très réactif en cas de questions, et d'un grand professionnalisme (a pu faire une facture comme cetait un voyage pro, je recommande sans hésiter )! La disposition un peu atypique ne m'a pas du tout dérangée, au contraire, c'est plutôt amusant pour quelques jours, et vraiment très bruxellois (et on fait du sport)! Il y a une cave sécurisée pour déposer les bagages après le checkout si besoin. Il faisait un peu froid pour un mois d'avril dans l'appartement, qui n'était pas chauffé.

• Mikita (9/5): Fun apartment and great location - The location is great - it's placed right in the city center and I needed about 5-10 minutes of walking to reach the most popular spots. The apartment itself with it's 5 floors was unusual and it was a fun experience expecially for my short trip. Check-in process is described very well and went smoothly. Also it was a pleasant surprise to get a small wellcome gift from the host on my arrival. For me it was somewhat cold in the apartment but the apartment has radiators that help a little bit if turned on. It was late March.

• Trezesa (9/5): Skvělé ubytování v pěší dostupnosti historického středu Bruselu. - Perfektní lokalita v klidné oblasti, vše v pěší dostupnosti, na jednu stranu nádraží 5 minut a na druhou stranu se za 6 minut dostanete kolem Manneken Piss až na historické náměstí Grand Place. Do ubytování se dostanete přes dvojí bezpečnostní kódovací zámky (jeden přes vrata do dvora a druhý do domu), poté pod dalším kódem klíč v bezpečnostní schránce. Ubytování má pozoruhodně a zajímavě řešené vertikální uspořádání pokojů, kuchyň v -1 patře dostupná po velmi úzkých točitých schodech, v +1 patře pak ložnice, obývák v +2 a konečně obrovská koupelna v +3 patře. I přes venkovní mráz nebyl s topením žádný problém, stejně tak Wifi spojení bylo v pohodě. Jelikož je ubytování s okny do dvora, tak tam byl v noci absolutní klid. Parkovat se dá v placených garážích v okolí, my jsme raději parkovali v Interparking Albertina Square, sice 10 minut pěšky, ale zato snad bezpečnější (vstupy jsou pod kódem). Vše bylo perfektní, pouze matrace z paměťové pěny už by potřebovaly vyměnit.
• Julia (5/5): BEWARE OF SPIRAL STAIRCASE. - Location, WiFi, comfy bed, mostly warm except freezing cold on our arrival and took long time to heat up. HAZARDOUS STAIRS BEWARE. The spiral staircase is ridiculously narrow even for a slim person, you have to try and walk sideways even to carry a shopping bag down to the kitchen in the basement. Virtually impossible to carry food/drink to the dining room on the floor above, and the kitchen, being in the basement is quite dingy for dining. I feel safer carrying boxes up the ladder to my attic than on these steps. Also there are holes in the floor (around the edge of the spiral) which have no safety railings, de the light switch is positioned right over across the staircase. Every room is on a different floor, and the stair bannisters are very flimsy. Any change of room involves stairs eg bedroom to bathroom is two sets of stairs away. There is no storage in the bedroom, but a wardrobe in the dining room 2 staircases below, which is not very practical. There are no wastebins except for kitchen and bathroom so any waste paper/tissue etc has to be carried to either top floor bathroom or basement kitchen.
• VANESSA (8/5): - Appartamento carino su più piani. Bagno molto grande e spazioso. il proprietario ci ha fatto trovare una birra e dei cioccolatini di benvenuto. Pulito bene. Istruzioni per il self check-in esaurienti (ma ci vogliono 3 codici per il primo accesso e poi ogni volta due codici: uno per il portone principale e uno per l'atrio). Posizione vicinissima al centro. La pulizia dell'androne e del tappeto di accesso a casa. La cucina è dotata di ogni elettrodomestico ma è al piano seminterrato ed è un pò vecchiotta. Secondo me sarebbe da fare una piccola cucina più nuova e funzionale nel piano di ingresso e tenere la parte seminterrato o chiuso o come deposito. Così si evita oltretutto un piano di scale (sono 5 piani compreso la cucina-seminterrato)

• Serena (9/5): Come a casa - Posizione ottima, abbiamo potuto girare Bruxelles a piedi senza prendere i mezzi che sono cari. La cucina era ben attrezzata con tutto il necessario (forno, microonde, macchina del caffè…). Il bagno di sopra molto bello. Dotato di termosifoni che tengono calda la casa. Ovviamente le scale ci sono ma é specificato ovviamente chi non può salirle non compra una casa del genere. L’host molto gentile, ci ha dato anche la possibilità di depositare i bagagli dopo il check out.

• H (10/5): Fijne en rustige plek vanwaaruit je Brussel gemakkelijk te voet kunt verkennen. - De netheid en compleetheid van de aanwezige spullen. En dichtbij het centrum van Brussel en toch heel stil. De verticale organisatie van de woning is soms best lastig. Voor een paar dagen prima als je goed ter been bent en makkelijk trappen loopt.

El lugar es muy sencillo, con un toque japonés.La atención del dueño estupenda y las instrucciones de llegada muy claras Encontré la casa algo fría, lo cual es difícil para un latino 😜, también las gradas son algo estrechas

La scala a chiocciola che porta alla cucina nel piano interrato è un po' pericolosa. Sconsigliata a chiunque abbia problemi di motilità.
• Ebru (10/5): It was thoroughly enjoyable. - The house I rented through Booking was exactly as described! Its location was fantastic—close to the city center yet in a peaceful neighborhood. It offered easy access to transportation, with restaurants and markets nearby. The comfort of the house exceeded my expectations; it was modern, stylishly furnished, and equipped with everything I needed. The beds were comfortable, and the living area was spacious and practical. This stay was definitely one I’d love to repeat! Seeing every detail described on Booking come to life was truly satisfying. .

• Jos (7/5): Goede locatie qua ligging tov het centrum - de wenteltrap maakte het minder prettig. - De locatie was perfect. Heel dicht bij het centrum! Dus snel de mogelijkheid om ergens naar toe te lopen. De wenteltrap naar de keuken is niet oké. Je kunt geen dienblad of moeilijk iets meenemen vanuit de keuken. De wenteltrap is veel te smal. Je moet bijna op je zijkantje naar boven lopen. Zeker niet te doen als je wat minder goed ter been bent, moe bent van je dagtocht of wat volslank bent. De andere trappen zijn beter te doen.

L'appartamento è in un contesto residenziale tranquillo, ben servito, pulito. Lo consiglio a tutti coloro che vogliono passare qualche giorno nella capitale belga.

Elle s’est mise à faire des allusions en disant qu’ils avaient dormis à l’appartement ce qui était faux . Elle a pu le constater en nettoyant l’appartement. Donc pas du tout commercial . • Loic (9/5): - L'appartement est très agréable. Sa particularité est qu’il est sur 5 niveaux ou demi niveaux. C'est surprenant mais plus sympa. Il est très propre et la literie est de qualité. Il est à environ 300 mètres du mankenpis ce qui est super. L’hôte est très prévenant et sympathique. Une très bonne adresse mais qui ne convient pas avec des enfants.

• Hooker (8/5): Very good - Location was as advertised. It's a quiet neighborhood with easy access to La Grand Place. The experience can be improved with more specifics of recycling as well as local recommendations for groceries, dining, etc.
• John (5/5): Passable - the good - 1 location 9/10 2 quiet in the building 9/10 3 bed 9/10 4 bathroom 9/ 10 5 details and instructions email 9/10 6 description is accurate 9/10 adequate cleanliness . the bad - the spiral staircase . . . take note of the warning in the description the spiral staircase is narrow and, in my opinion, dangerous - even for the able-bodied and fit and we are used to negotiating stairs handrails on the landings are flimsy and would not prevent you from falling through to the floor below negotiating the spiral staircase requires a careful “3 points of contact” approach there is only one access to all floors - entrance, basement kitchen, mezzanine lounge, bedroom and bathroom - and this is the narrow spiral staircase taking up baggage demands extra caution I only had a small backpack a large case may well be impossible so this why I chose ‘passable’ and not ‘good’ .

• Sigita (8/5): very quiet appartment within walking distance from the Grand Place. - I really liked the fact that the apartment is very quiet, had comfortable bed, with all windows facing the inner courtyard - that was my main reason for choosing it in the first place. The hosts gave very detailed and illustrated instructions how to reach and enter the appartment (lock codes for check-in and out) and kindly provided free sugar, salt, peper and tea and coffee capsules enough to last for a few days' stay. The appartment is situated over several floors - the kitchen+WC in the basement, one room on the ground floor, bedroom and living room with TV on 1st+2nd floors and a spacious shower+WC on the 3rd. To reach all these floors one has to move over spiral staircase, which are rather narrow and may be tricky for very tall people, people with mobility issues or elderly. I ended up keeping all my things on the ground floor to avoid moving a heavy luggage upstairs.

• Astkhik (8/5): Very good - You can't beat the location. It was 5 to 10 min walking from the main attractions. The building was secure and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The apartment had everything you need. The only thing that was missing which I noted to the host is a shampoo in the bathroom. Alain is very responsive. The stairs is certainly an adjustment but I got used to them very quickly. I'm also 5'2" so did bump my head while going up and down. But I can see someone taller needing to bow as going down the stairs to avoid hitting their heads. Overall, I didn't have much issue with the stairs, it really wasn't a big deal for me. Other than that, I didn't have any other issues.

It would've been easier to get to from Brussels Centraal than making us walk from Brussels Zuid, which is not a good part of town & there were a lot of zigzags. In rhe end, we would take Centraal. Too many stairs & not everything being on the same level. In order to go to the main floor, we had to walk down the stairs backwards.
• Richard (9/5): The apartment had all you’d want, in a central, but quiet, area of the city. - The apartment was clean and comfortable, with some nice welcoming items. The facilities were all that I was expecting and everything worked well. The spiral staircase was slightly annoying. It’s very cramped and you need to use it all the time because everything is on different levels. As a reasonably fit pensioner it was OK for me but I can see that people with any sort of restricted mobility would struggle. This is a minor comment, but maybe there should be a bit more of a warning in the booking.com publicity.
• John (9/5): A very clean and well appointed property close to all facilities, including a metro station. - Excellent, central location just off a quiet street; a very clean and comfortable apartment. This was not an issue for me or indeed a negative observation but the different levels of the triplex are, of necessity, accessed by spiral stairs that would be a challenge for anybody with restricted mobility.

• Panayiotis (9/5): An excellent, cosy apartment in the heart of Brussels - The Triplex appt was a nice surprise for me! The appt, which actually has five different levels, from the fully equipped kitchen in the basement, up to the really large bathroom on the fifth level is consisted of a small cosy living room, of a nice and clean bedroom and another big space on the ground floor divided into two spacious rooms where there is also the dining table. Everything was really fine, it is really enjoyable to spend time in the living room on the fourth level, there is much natural light, (Though the weather was really bad and the sky was mostly overcast, weird thing even for Brussels in mid May), anda lot of electric lamps and many many electric plugs and outlets, thing which is useful when you work with a laptop! I found very touching the gesture of the hosts to welcome me by having left on the dinning table a bunch of small different Belgian chocolates and candies plus a Belgian beer. Alain, the host, whom I met during my check out, is a very kind and helpful gentleman! I would definitely return there! A bigger lamp on the ground floor where the dinning table is, is absolutely necessary.
