• Sabrina (9/5): Ubicación de 10 - La ubicación del apartamento es muy buena, tiene todo muy cerca. Muchos restaurantes para cenar al lado y muy cerca de los sitios a visitar en Florencia. El piso es muy amplío, tanto las habitaciones como el salón comedor. Tiene todo lo que se puede necesitar. Por decir algo, la presión de la ducha. Quizás añadiría uno o dos boles un poco más grandes para poder tomar cereales en el desayuno.

Very friendly, fast and great service and suggestions I was with my mum. She’s 85 years old and I forgot about the 55 steps. My bad. There’s no elevator. We had some difficulties with the shower, it was hard to get the right temperature.

• Penny (9/5): A quiet, spacious apartment in a great location! - The location was fantastic - central but quiet. The apartment was spacious and had almost everything we needed. Angelica, our host, was there to let us in and readily available if needed. As others have noted, the stairs are steep. It was only a problem when we had luggage. Angelica even carried my bag up the stairs!

• Agne (9/5): Excellent cozy stay, very caring and flexible host, brilliant location and good amenities. - Very cozy, great central location and excellent host! As other reviews mention - the stairs can be a challenge for some, but for our trip of 3 females of varying ages and fitness (40, 67 and 71 years old), we all managed the stairs well. Sturdy metal hand rails and walking up slowly and everyone got there. Also the water pressure and hot/cold mixing within the shower - but that is expected in an old property like this and it was still good, just some adjustment is needed (eg start running hot shower water early).
• Guest (10/5): Perfect home away from home. - I loved that there were pillow options and plenty of them. The blackout curtains were fantastic and let me sleep in a little longer in the morning. Roberto was very attentive and hospitable. He checked in to make sure everything was in working order via a quick text. I really don't have anything much to add here.
• Michelle (10/5): Amazing stay and location! - My friends and I LOVED this spacious apartment! Amazing location to walk to all Florence has to offer. The host was VERY accommodating and gracious, especially when we couldn't communicate our arrival time until last minute due to phone issues. She was so kind and met us at the apartment to help us carry our luggage, show us the around, and give recommendations of local restaurants, attractions, etc. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and the kitchen very modern. We also loved the privacy shutters to block out light, the brand new windows to block out any sound, and the A/C worked really well! I would say the only draw back is the stairs to climb to the apartment. Some of them are a little steep, so this is not for some one that is in bad health or bad knees. The host makes this very clear in the listing, so we were prepared.

• Mariusz (10/5): Bardzo udany wyjazd rodzinny. - 1. Bardzo dobra lokalizacja (okna wychodzą na boczną ścianę Bazyliki Santa Croce). Do głównych zabytków i muzeów jest 10-20 minut na piechotę (oczywiście Santa Croce jest obok). W pobliżu są też sklepy (Carrefour Express i Conad). 2. Apartament jest bardzo przestronny. Wygodna łazienka z obszernym prysznicem, dwie umywalki, pralka! 2 duże sypialnie, obszerny salon i kuchnia z dużym stołem. W łazience kosmetyki "na start", co ważne gdy przyjeżdżasz z małym bagażem i dopiero masz zamiar je kupić. Jedna sypialnia ma łóżko dwuosobowe, a w drugiej można rozdzielić na 2 osobne. Większość okien wychodzi na cichą, zabudowaną stronę, więc nie docierają hałasy z ulicy. Oczywiście jest dobry Internet wifi. Telewizor ze smart TV (Samsung), więc można w razie potrzeby rzutować na niego filmy z telefonu. 3. Bardzo dobrze wyposażona kuchnia (garnki, patelnie w kilku rozmiarach, duża ilość talerzy i sztućców), zmywarka. Duża lodówka z zamrażarką. Wszędzie czysto i estetycznie. 4. W sypialniach i salonie odrębne klimatyzatory - wydajne i szybko działające, co docenisz gdy na zewnątrz jest 39 stopni C. Są nowe albo właścicielka dba o serwis bo nie wydostają się z nich żadne brzydkie zapachy. 5. Bardzo sympatyczna właścicielka, która utrzymywała z nami kontakt w dniu przyjazdu. Apartament był gotowy wcześniej, więc mogliśmy się zameldować już o godzinie 11:30 i potem już bez plecaków zwiedzać miasto. 6. Schody, o których niektórzy piszą są rzeczywiście strome, ale nie ma ich dużo i dla nikogo z nas nie były problemem. Jeżeli ktoś planuje wejść na kopułę katedry (Duomo) albo Torre di Arnolfo, to takimi schodami nie będzie się przejmował. Myślę, że schody mogą stanowić kłopot tylko dla osób z ograniczeniami ruchowymi, albo z dużym i ciężkim bagażem. 7. Byliśmy w 4 osoby: 2 dorosłych + 2 nastolatków i mieszkanie było dla nas w sam raz. W salonie jest duża rozkładana sofa, więc przypuszczam, że w razie potrzeby mogłyby się tam zmieścić jeszcze 1-2 osoby.

• Yet Ying (10/5): - Good functional aircon in the common living area and both bedrooms, spacious layout, few doors away fr Carrefour Express and cafes. Nice and safe neighbourhood. Always a good night sleep and feel refreshed in the morning. Kitchen is very well equipped. Helpful owner. Will recommend this place. The shower's hot water runs out quickly. After a tiring day out, instead of having a warm soothing shower and hair wash at night, you will have to do a quick shower, so as to leave some hot water supply to the next person. Stairs are steep all the way to the top but I think the owner has stated so in the advertisement.

• Mei (9/5): Superb - Good location. Very good restaurant located downstairs, just on the right hand side of the apartment, named II Francesca Tavern. Surprisingly good dinner and wine. We went back on our last night at Florence. Another cafe called Dombino, great affogato. Apartment was very clean and bright. Newly renovated and have all the full facilities. If you are travelling with elderly the apartment has no lift and need to climb steep steps to the 3rd floor.

Welcome bottle of wine, water in the fridge, and everything that was needed to use the dish washer or washing machine, plenty of plates, silverware, etc. Angelica provided a map and pointed out places around the area to see as well as restaurants and thoroughly explained what was needed to know about the apartment. The apartment does have very steep stairs, which is indicated in the description and as long as someone can handle the stairs, it is good. After heavy rain, the lock on the exterior door did not work a couple of times it took a while for us to be able to get out, but someone came to fix it

• Catherine (10/5): Exceptional - Loved this quirky, spacious apartment. Could live there!!! Clean and comfortable with lovely crisp white bedding. Huge modern bathroom. Great living area which is separate from bedrooms. Each bedroom and living area has its own air con/ heating unit. Was able to drop bags off early which saved us luggage storage fees, lovely hosts. Great location for walking to all the attractions, places to eat and a supermarket only a few minutes walk away. Fabous panini cafe on the other side of the square. It was a bit too far from the train station to walk with suitcases over the cobbled/ crowded streets but there is a taxi rank on the other side of the square and only a 10 minute taxi ride (which was certainly an experience 😂😂). As has been mentioned before the stairs could be an issue for some people. However we were aware of this when we booked so we knew what we were getting. The plus side is we could have extra gelatos without feeling guilty after all the exercise 😘

• Matthew (10/5): This was the nicest place we stayed in our three week Europe trip. - This apartment was wonderful -- spacious, beautifully decorated, really comfortable beds, every kitchen and bathroom amenity that you could need. The host Angelica was so nice and helpful and a great communicator. The location is perfect -- walkable to all of the biggest parts of Firenze, but on the edge of the truly most crowded areas. The air conditioning was very effective during some hot July evenings. That plus the modern windows that kept out street noise and the great beds allowed us all to get very good nights sleep. I can't say enough about how great this place is. I highly, highly recommend it (even though I know that works against me because we will want to rent it again). I have nothing negative to say about this place. I would caution that only people comfortable navigating three sets of steep stairs should consider renting this place, but for us that wasn't an issue at all.

It’s modern, recently renovated, new windows, beautiful bathroom and kitchen. The apartment has two bedrooms and 4 people sleep very comfortably. The one bathroom is great. There is a washer. The living/dinning is also very comfortable. There is space for everyone. Angie, the host, is great, very attentive and very easy to connect with. The price of the apartment is also great. The apartment is located across the street from Santa Croce church, where Michelangelo is buried, which is a very centric location and a short walk to everywhere. The only thing you need to consider is that there are no elevator, so if you have some physical limitations then you shouldn’t stay here because you have to go up three flights of stairs, if you have no physical limitations then you MUST stay here!! • Stavroula (9/5): Superb - The apartment is in a very central location, but also very quiet. The beds are very comfortable, even the sofa bed!! Roberto is very kind and helpful. We even had to call him late at night because we had a problem with tolls and he was very patient and helpful. We absolutely recommend Roberto's apartment! The apartment is a bit smaller than it looks in the photos and it doesn't have an elevator, which it didn't bother us at all, but it's not very convenient for people with disabilities or of a certain age. Other than that our experience was excellent!

It is perfectly suited for exploring all the city on both sides of the river and was a max of 20 mins walk from pretty much all key sights. It’s well furnished, nicely decorated and it was a very accommodating check in They’re not kidding when they warn it’s 3 flights of steep stone steps with no lift, so just bear that in mind if you struggle with stairs (but it’s worth it for the view)

The view of the Basilica Di Santa Croce was right in your face and glorious! The apartment is a huge space with plenty of room. We cooked each night and the kitchen was very well stocked. It was very comfortable here at the Apartamento Santa Croce and I will definitely return. If your not in shape you'll either get in shape going up and down the several flights of stairs; not recommended for the elderly or those with physical disabilities. But it was fine for us.

• Nicola (10/5): Great location, wonderful host, very spacious & clean apartment - The apartment is very spacious, it is in a great location facing the side of the Santa Croce church but was very peaceful. The 2 bedrooms are both large with big wardrobes and have very efficient air conditioning and shutters on the windows. They are on the corridor with the bathroom which has a large shower and 2 sinks and there was a hairdryer provided. The open plan lounge kitchen & dining area are at the front of the building with 3 windows so it is very light and also has an air con unit to keep cool. We didnt cook but there is plenty of crockery, utensils etc, a kettle, small worktop grill & a large fridge & small freezer. Great space for 4 adults would highly recommend & stay here again (but not if you have limited mobility or need to carry a pram as it’s on the 3rd floor up steep stairs)

We were only told after booking that there was no lift/elevator and the climb to the third story was extremely steep. Especially difficult with suitcases. The beds needed top sheets and softer ones.

Angelica was very helpful with providing local recommendations and bus information - thank you! We didn’t mind, but the dishwasher is new and not yet set up for use.
• Adrian (7/5): Good - The location is ok 10 minutes walk to the Dome. The location is in an apartment building. it is near a bus station that can take you to the train station. If you book the for more than 2 people it is suited only for group of close friends or families you don't have separate rooms so no privacy. The room has a big kitchen with anything you need. The host was open to explain everything and open to help. The room is not very good for a group of 4 people. You don't have 2 separate rooms so you don't have privacy. You have a big bad and a couch. To separate the 2 areas in the room you have a curtain. If you open the couch is hard to pass in front there is a table. The rooms has only a bathroom. If you use the curtain you don't have natural light. You can hear all the noise from the neighbors so it is complicated to have a good night rest. The host was a little stressful with too many messages repeating exactly the same thing and asking to take care of things. I receive a massage at 8 in the morning.

Roberto was also nice, easy to call, always available and try to find solution. clearly, the noise from the upstairs neighbour ruined our stay in the appartement. Roberto asked us to try to be quiet during our stay. So, we are extremely quiet with no tv, no music, walking quietly, but the upstairs family was completely awful. No education at all. Lots of noise till midnight, get up at 5am with shouts, making lots of noise again getting down the stairs. We asked ourselves if this is done on purpose… because most of noise where made just in front of our door, even at 6am. finally we talked with Roberto before last night in the appartement and it was more quiet at last. strange experience.

• Marika (10/5): Perfect apartment in a beautiful city! - Roberto met me outside of the property at the agreed time. He helped to carry my suitcase up the stairs. The room was a very good size, spacious, with good air conditioning. He even left me a bottle of wine and water which was nice. I liked the area and felt very safe here Nothing the room was great. Unfortunately it rained whilst I was in Florence, but I enjoyed hanging out and watching netflix
• Verified traveler (6/5): - The chairs in the eating area, which was the only place to sit were the most uncomfortable chairs ever made!! They look cool, but you just can’t sit on them for more than a couple of minutes. The ‘sofa’ was just strange and lumpy. The only light into the apartment is from a small light well which serves the apartment below as well. All exhaust (all!) goes here! Doesn’t look as glamorous as the pics. Two floors up a narrow steep staircase, straight of the street. Street, incidentally, seems to be the main pedestrian access for bus loads of Chinese tourists in the morning. On the plus side, the bathroom is new and smart and the kitchen, while basic is OK and new. Twin beds OK. It suited us in a basic sense, but was not worth the excessive rental.
