• Jacinta (8/5): Quiet and peaceful stay in comfortable surroundings. - Comfortable room with little terrace in a quiet neighbourhood. Good bed and pillows. Very friendly and helpful staff and good breakfast served on the terrace. It’s a little further away from the centre than most of the hotels which wasn’t a problem for us. But it’s a steep uphill walk which could be difficult for some people.
• Sandra (8/5): Schöne Unterkunft in Gjirokaster, Nähe Bazar - Zimmer war wunderschön. Ich hatte Zimmer 1, das mit " Balkon". Personal super nett, vorallem Dea und Vala. Es gab im April noch kein Frühstück, aber Vala fragte ob ich Kaffee möchte, gab mir ein gekochtes Ei....ich wurde am Busterminal abgeholt und es war immer jemand per whatsapp erreichbar. Die Lage wie fast alles in Gjirokaster steil am Hang. Deshalb zum Bszar, Cafés oder ins Dorf sehr anstrengend. Mein Zimmer lag direkt beim Eingang, deshalb hörte man alles, auch jeder Schritt vom oberen Stock. Der " private Balkon" ist nicht wirklich als privat erkennbar, deshalb setzen sich andere Gäste hin und das störte mich vor meinem Fenster. Das sollte klarer gekennzeichnet sein.

We were in the room near reception and the drinks fridge is a little noisy. Ear plugs are my travel friend so didn’t stop sleep

• Svenja (9/5): - Die Gastgeberin war sehr herzlich und bemühte sich sehr bei der Frühstückszubereitung (Ei, Sandwichtoast, Obststeller, Süßspeise, Marmelade, Brot). Die Lage ist perfekt um die Stadt fußläufig zu erkunden. Es gibt keine direkten Parkplätze an der Unterkunft. Unser Zimmer war sehr groß. Leider war im Frühstück nur ein Kaffee inkludiert. Weitere mussten bezahlt werden.

Prime location to both busy areas. Hostess at breakfast is kind and helpful with our requests. Good value for money. Room was spotless and neat. Very hard to navigate to with car. After arriving finding parking is not easy as well because almost nowhere to park outside in narrow streets. No elevator so having luggage is problematic. Room is alittle small so fiting the baby crib inside and our luggage was difficult.

• Alberto (7/5): Hotel céntrico, acogedor, muy buen desayuno, baños pequeños y difícil acceso en coche. - El hotel tiene el encanto de una casa tradicional reformada, con habitaciones de madera, limpias y agradables. Aunque pequeñas, las camas eran cómodas y el ambiente acogedor. El desayuno fue excelente, variado y abundante, servido en la terraza: tostadas, huevos, zumos, café o leche. La ubicación es muy buena, en pleno centro, y el personal fue amable y servicial. El precio es aceptable y se paga en efectivo (también en euros). El acceso en coche es muy complicado: calles estrechas, empedradas y con fuertes pendientes. No recomendamos entrar en el casco histórico con el coche; mejor aparcar en las afueras o en un parking. Además, el baño era muy pequeño y sin mampara, lo que dejaba todo mojado tras la ducha.

• Anna (6/5): Habitación rústica a oscuras - La habitación estaba muy bien decorada, muy rústica y la cama era muy grande. El personal fue amable pero no hablaban nada de inglés. Estaba cerca del centro, aunque todo Gjirokaster sean cuestas muy pronunciadas. El desayuno estaba rico. La luz principal de la habitación no funcionaba. En la reserva ponía que teníamos habitación con balcón pero lo cierto es que no había ningún balcón, solo una ventana. Tuvimos dificultades para comunicarnos con el personal del desayuno, ya que uno de nosotros tenemos alergias alimentarias. No nos advirtieron que había que pagar en efectivo.

• Alberto (10/5): Precioso hotel y desayuno brutal - Hotel estilo boutique encantador, el sitio es precioso y hecho con mucho gusto. El trato de la mujer que lo atiende, aunque no hable inglés, es inmejorable. Cuando llegamos, como estaba haciendo la habitación, nos preparó un café con pastas para esperar. Todo está muy cuidado, y la calidad del desayuno es simplemente excelente. Una opción perfecta para pasar una noche en la ciudad, porque andando tardas cinco minutos al bazar. La habitación es pequeñita, al menos las de la segunda planta. Para un día es perfecto, pero para más igual se hace más justa.

Lo mejor de nuestra estancia fue el trato del personal, la señora que está en la recepción es un amor! Solo habla albanés pero con el traductor fue muy fácil comunicarse con ella, a nuestra despedida nos dijo I love you! 🥰 Lo único que pudieran mejorar es el tema del parking, el hotel queda en una calle bastante estrecha y no recomiendo aparcar ahí a menos que hayas pagado un seguro total del coche! Recomiendo aparcar más en una calle principal y de ahí caminar al hotel

• Ekkehard (7/5): Ganz ok für 1-2 Nächte, nicht geeignet für mehr - Die Lage des Hotels ist gut, mitten in der Altstadt. Die Kommunikation mit WhatsApp lief hervorragend. Zimmer Nr. 1 mit dünnwandiger Holztür liegt unmittelbar neben dem Eingang mit Getränkekühlschrank und dem bestuhlten sehr kleinen Innenhof (beide Fenster gehen zum Innenhof auf). Dadurch war bis ca. 1 Uhr morgen Rambazamba und an ein Schlafen nicht zu denken. Für die 2. Nacht haben wir das Zimmer gewechselt.

Las habitaciones eran bonitas y cómodas. Tenían dos habitaciones disponibles y nos dejaron escoger cuál nos quedábamos. Tenía aire acondicionado. El desayuno estaba muy bueno. No aceptan pago con tarjeta y, el cambio aplicado sobre el precio acordado fue peor al oficial.

Bagno ampio e una bella doccia (con tenda! Non scontato qui!) proprietaria molto gentile e attenta, si è mantenuta sempre in contatto con noi anche durante un breve blackout che ha colpito tutta la città Classica colazione locale con frittelle, uova e un mix di verdure fresche. Posizione nel centro storico, in una vietta stretta e silenziosa e comoda per raggiungere le vie del bazar e i punti di interesse (ma attenzione alle salite!). Abbiamo lasciato l’auto in un parcheggio sotterraneo a pagamento e abbiamo raggiunto la struttura a piedi Attenzione a bagagli pesanti e voluminosi, le strade di Gjirokaster possono mettere a dura prova Niente, tutto ok :)
• John (9/5): Fijn verblijf, met goede faciliteiten! - Een erg netjes hotel, midden in de stad, waardoor alles op loopafstand te bereiken is. Helaas is er geen parkeergelegenheid, waardoor je de auto aan de straat moet zetten, en een stukje moet lopen.

• Myosotis (10/5): Je recommande super séjour ! - Très bon accueil avec le sourire. Hôtes très disponibles, et qui répondent également rapidement via l'application booking. Très belle chambre avec du cachet et équipements au top. Petit déjeuner très bien servi par une dame très gentille. Des produits différents étaient proposés chaque jour. Excellent emplacement proche du bazar. Et avec une belle vue sur la ville. Je recommande ! Rien par rapport au logement. Juste petit conseil pour se garer. Ne montez pas en voiture jusqu'à l'hôtel. C'est une vraie galère pour redescendre (en marche arrière uniquement et avec des voitures garées sur les côtés rendant l'accès plus difficile). De plus il n'y a pas de place vous serez juste bloqué. L'hôte nous a conseillé de nous garer devant l'école juste en bas de la rue (en août elle est fermée) et c'était top.

• Donatella (9/5): Struttura carina a pochi passi (in salita!) dal centro - Casa quasi in centro storico, ristrutturata con gusto. La camera era molto carina, con una parete in pietra dietro il letto, mentre il bagno è stato ristrutturato solo "in superficie" coprendo vecchie piastrelle con delle nuove di dubbio gusto. Comodo il letto. Superlativa la colazione: la signora ha perfino fritto dei dolcetti al momento. Il personale presente in loco non parlava neppure una parola di inglese, ma ci siamo spiegati a gesti o parlando telefonicamente in inglese con una terza persona. Il bagno sarebbe da ristrutturare sul serio, anche se è comunque funzionale.

• Yanissa (10/5): Heerlijk hotel! - Hele schone kamers, aardig personeel! Heerlijk ontbijt ook. De locatie is top, 7 minuten (omhoog) lopen naar de oude stad. Er was geen parkeerplaats. Je moet de auto langs de weg zetten. Ik zou aanraden om de spullen eerst even te droppen aan het begin van Rruga Papavangjeli en daar de auto te keren en hem iets lager aan de weg te zetten waar plek is in die straat (Rruga Doktor Vasil Laboviti). Bij deze laatste straat ook de wijk inrijden, anders rijd je jezelf klem (gebeurde ons!). Wij sliepen beneden en daardoor werden we wel vaak wakker van telefoontjes of andere gasten die langs onze kamer liepen.
• Anne-Sophie (9/5): - Très bel endroit , propre , au calme dans une maison à l'architecture typique de Gjirokaster. Chambre spacieuse, bonne literie, salle de bains petite mais hyper fonctionnelle. La dame qui servait les petit-déjeuners est très gentille et accommodante . Nous avons passé un très bon séjour !

• Megane (10/5): Hôtel familial plein de charme - Un hôtel plein de charme, familial. Un accueil chaleureux malgré la barrière de la langue. Des gens avec le cœur sur la main. Un petit déjeuner très copieux et fait avec amour. Un hôtel situé dans une rue non accessible en voiture mais les propriétaires nous propose un parking à proximité et nous on même aider avec les valises..

• Marie (9/5): - Proche du château et du bazar, la chambre était très jolie et propre, le petit déjeuner était super Impossible de se garer à côté, l’hôtel ne dispose pas d’un parking. Les draps étaient tissu synthétiques et ils tenaient très chauds malgré la Climatisation
• Janina (8/5): - Das Zimmer war an sich sehr schön und die Ausstattung gut. Die Dame, die das Frühstück zubereitet hat, war sehr freundlich und herzlich. Sie hat uns wenigstens einen schönen Morgen bereitet. Danke dafür! Wir hatten allerdings ein Doppelzimmer mit privatem Balkon gebucht und es gibt einfach keinen Balkon. Der sogenannte "Balkon" bezieht sich wohl auf den gemeinschaftlich genutzten Eingangsbereich/Frühstücksterrasse. Diese falsche Darstellung fand ich überhaupt nicht OK, da wir explizit ein Zimmer mit Balkon ausgesucht hatten und schließlich dafür bezahlen. Ähnlich ging es uns beim Check in, der nicht gerade freundlich ablief und wir lediglich ein Telefon in die Hand gedrückt bekamen, über das die Chefin uns mit schlechter Verbindung sagte, wir sollten jetzt direkt bezahlen. Zum Umrechnungskurs Euro in Lek meinte sie dann, es wäre genau das gleiche, was streng genommen nicht stimmt. An sich kein Drama wegen ein paar Euro, aber auch hier fanden wir die Einstellung und den Umgang mit uns als Gästen nicht gerade korrekt.
• Samantha (10/5): Such a nice quiet stay! - The lady running the reception was so kind! My taxi driver couldn’t find the address and she waited in the street to walk up to the hotel with me. I also caught a bus early the next morning and she packed breakfast for me.

En el desayuno pides un café con leche y te traen un pequeño expreso, cuando pides otro café te dicen que tienes que pagarlo aparte. Quizá no nos entendimos bien con la persona que atiende el desayuno, cuando pedimos el café, porque no habla inglés.
