• Monika (5/5): It would be a nice apartment if it weren’t for the smell - I liked the location. The place was clean although the furniture was old and a bit worn out and stained. There is a very unpleasant smell in the apartment that has penetrated our clothes and things. That is a big downside of this property.
• James (6/5): Average - The sheets on the bed weren’t dry The smell of washing liquid on the sheets was very strong The smell of disinfectant on the floors was very strong The light in the kitchen didn’t work There were no instructions in the flat eg how to operate washing machine/dryer, WiFi code (had to what’s app the owner)
• Brian (8/5): Gratamente aceptable y bastante comodo. - Las habitaciones fue lo que mas nos gusto, si es verdad que el edificio es un poco sucio pero sus alrededores y que tenga literalmente al lado las paradas de bus es genial, también habían cerca muchos locales para comer y supermercados, farmacias, panaderías, etc. Habia toallas limpias, las sabanas estaban limpias, el closet es grande y tiene un espejo completo, los muebles son comodos, ademas tenia amazon prime, la verdad que bastante comoda nuestra estancia. El anfitrión excelente siempre atento y en contacto en todo momento, apenas llegamos ya estaba todo preparado y limpio para nuestra estancia. DEPARTAMENTO BASTANTE LIMPIO, eso también nos gusto mucho. El baño, la tina es muy alta y la regadera de la ducha no tiene presión por lo que ducharse es un poco incomodo, capaz cambiar la tina por un plato de ducha y, mejorar la regadera, seria un buen aspecto a considerar ya que, de resto, es un buen lugar, si en el futuro cambian esto del baño volveríamos sin dudarlo. Le doy 8 solo por el baño, porque el closet no tenia divisiones para colocar cosas ni suficientes ganchos para colgar ropa y porque la poceta esta abajo y era un poco molesto para ir al baño en la noche, pero entiendo que esto de la poceta es algo a lo que no estábamos acostumbrados. De resto el departamento es un 9 solido.

• Michelle (10/5): - The flat was exactly what you see in pictures. The area is lovely and very well connected. The host responded me immediately when I reached out about some details. Wifi works great. Can't think of any.

• Eleonora (5/5): Unfortunate choice for older couple requiring more upscale accommodation - The location was very convenient for our purposes. The flat was in an old and run down and quite dirty council building. The lift was unacceptable and a bit scary. The flat itself was terribly run down but clean and it reminded me of student accommodation in the 70 s. The loo which was downstairs even though the bathroom and bedrooms were upstairs was tiny and even though the flat wasn’t at all dirty it felt like it. We looked for accommodation elsewhere in desperation the first night but the places we checked were fully booked for at least part of the week. In the end we managed there but we were definitely the wrong demographic for it. It would have been absolutely fine for 4 even five students looking for a place to share for a London holiday. We are in our seventies and all our previous experiences in the area at similar prices were perfect. In private complexes not estates with well maintained grounds, perfectly clean and furnished. We chose this one because it was closer to our daughter’s house where we were spending the days with our granddaughters. It should have been clearer in the listing what sort of building this was and what clientele it was meant for. Having said this there were lots of things in the kitchen left for guests and toiletries in the bath but as I say we were the wrong demographic and it was not for us.

• Saskia (10/5): A brilliant spot and excellent host - We were visiting a gallery a few minutes away so the proximity to it was brilliant. Also there are two supermarkets a minute away which is so helpful We were a bit confused by the shower. Hard to get the right temperature

• Saffron (8/5): Very good stay at this apartment and great location - The location was in a great area very close too shops/ cafes and also tube and train stations. The apartment was clean and the beds were comfortable. I liked the added touch of having a bottle of water in the fridge. The owner was friendly and replied too messages quickly and the step by step check in was very straight forward. It made arriving into London much more simple. Overall we were happy with the apartment. The apartment was a little worn in some areas eg, the kitchen doors. The temperature of the shower was very difficult too get correct it was mainly very hot or very cold and the pressure wasnt brilliant either. I didn't see that there was any form of dustpan and brush or a hoover In the apartment that would of been handy.

• Kathie (8/5): Very good - Great location to public transport. Good kitchen facilities and 2 bedrooms was a huge benefit. Quite difficult getting luggage up steep stairs to bedroom. As it's part of a big housing development it was quite noisy at night.

We were allowed to check-in slightly before the official check-in time and to leave the baggage after the check out time. The flat is a bit worn down, but still comfortable.

• Paola (6/5): Fairly good but little suited for aging people on account of the wc position. - The cleanliness, the location and easy access to transport, the comfort of the beds and the welcome facilities of coffee and tea. Also the kitchen equipment was ok. We were not informed that it was a two-stories flat and that the bedrooms and bathroom were upstairs and the very small wc was downstairs, which for an aging person like me is bad especially with a very steep stair. Access to television was limited and not easy to reach. Taking a shower was uneasy: too high the access to the bathtub and too low to reach the handles. Nothing was suggested about how to dispose of the garbage.
• Anonymous (8/5): Spacious and comfortable flat in a great location, with easy access to public transport and great shops and eateries wit - Great location - a few minutes walk from Essex Rd station which links to the tube and buses every few minutes from outside. You can also walk to Angel station to directly access the Underground. Lots of shops close by including a Tesco right outside for essentials, and a walk into Islington provided a plethora of lovely shops, cafes and restaurants. The beds were very comfy and the flat is actually on two levels which meant that it felt very spacious. From the top floor there are views over London and you can see the Shard. The instructions for finding and getting into the building were very clear, as photographs were included. The host was very responsive to a couple of queries we had, which we really appreciated, and very kindly allowed us to store bags which was fantastic and really helpful. There’s actually a proper electric shower which we hadn’t realised, and was great, and little touches like a nightlight in the hall and a hairdryer were much appreciated. Overall we thought this was a great property. The only things that we found missing were a baking tray and grill pan for the oven. Otherwise, we had pretty much everything we needed.
• Jag (1/5): Comically poor, won’t be returning. - Close to the bus stop. Near grocery store. Extortionate price for service provided. Communication with the host was good up until there was a problem. Lights in kitchen did not work upon arrival. There was no response from the host at all even though it was clear that he had read my messages. Host refused to provide any level of compensation for not having the ability to see in the kitchen which made that area useless. Videos were sent to host to demonstrate the problem however he refused to look at the evidence. Lights in the hallway were also not working and toaster was also not functional. Much higher quality accommodation in the area for the same price. Front of property by the busy main road and was difficult to sleep due to the noise. Also no air conditioning meaning it gets very hot if warm outside. Cigarette burn marks in the floor and lots of dirty areas in the house that indicated lack of cleaning. Toilet seat was falling off the toilet as well. Neighborhood appears to be unsavory and not too safe based on the number of police car sirens that were heard throughout the night.

• Robins (7/5): It was a nice location and nice stay. - Nice location, Easy to access the public transport, quiet nice area. Apartment is on the 4th floor nice to see the city at night time from the house. Nice Host. I will definitely come again.

• Yara (10/5): Perfect for a family - Loved the atmosphere and great attention to detail. Clean and comfortable. Communication was great and the cot that was arranged for my baby was brand new and great quality. Loved this area, we walked everywhere. Building was friendly and very quiet! Hope to return soon. I think for some people the entrance might not look comfortable but it’s a safe area and we loved it! Some details not finished yet but the apartment had everything we needed.
