• Jeffrey (2/5): Fraud and scam - Clean place good location. I book the room in colonies the local rate. The hotel changed it to USA dollars using the wrong exchange rate in there benefit. I booked a junior suite. The room has no plates , no glasses. It was a big room that's it. Very disappointing.

• Allan (2/5): Bad experience for senior adults - The food was good and the staff in the kitchen were kind. Noise isolation was good. The room is not suitable for senior adults despite being a “premium” room. The facilities seem old and not cared for, loose towel holders, the TV remote did not work, the kitchenette was not really useful. The bathroom floor is slippery and without any guardrails to hold onto. We gifted this stay to our parents for my mom to recover from a minor surgery, they left dissatisfied and disappointed.

• Freddy (10/5): - Nuestra estancia en Wyndham Garden San Jose Escazu fue muy buena. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Todo estuvo correcto y cumplió perfectamente con nuestras expectativas. La habitación era cómoda, limpia y adecuada para descansar después de recorrer la ciudad. El personal fue amable y profesional en todo momento, haciendo el check-in y la estancia muy agradables. Además, la ubicación resulta muy práctica, especialmente para moverse por San José y sus alrededores. En general, una experiencia cómoda, tranquila y recomendable para quienes buscan un hotel funcional, bien ubicado y con buen servicio en Escazú.

The food was good, the breakfast was very good with a wide selection of food & drink. Our room was clean & the beds were very comfortable with pristine white sheets & great comfortable pillows. The shower was clean & had good pressure with lots of clean white towels so overall a good stay! A bit dated & some of the Staff could have been a bit more helpful & a bit friendlier, but for what we payed very good value for money! Would definitely stay again! It was in an area of San Jose where the Mini bus from Puerto Viejo wouldn’t drop us! It’s about 10mins in an Uber from The Hilton (the closest point from the Hotel the mini bus would drop us) but trying to get an Uber in that part of town was a nightmare! We waited over 40mins & 2 cancelled rides for an Uber to get us there, and after a 7hr trip on a minibus that was not fun! The air con was a bit loud & rattley but kept the room nice & cool. Some of the staff are not the friendliest & the receptionist at checkin did not give enough information on everything arrival. They did not tell us what time, or where the breakfast was in the morning we had to ask, & did not tell us that we had to use our Entry key to use the lift. Also We were not told about the facilities in the hotel ie. pool etc or the times they were in operation, that we googled, This should all be basic standard information for guests on arrival. Also when we arrived at 7.30pmish in the evening after a 7hr mini bus journey & me with broken ribs, there was no-one at the reception to help with our bags nor did they offer, we had to ask, so they could be a little bit more on the ball regards customer service but for what we payed was generally a good stay!

A la hora del desayuno todo muy sucio. Las instalaciones muy antiguas. Y es difícil salir del hotel caminando debido a que esta al otro lado de la carretera y hay que pasar bajo un puente

• Jenny isabel (1/5): - La limpieza Hay poca amabilidad del personal que atiende en recepción y en restaurante Hice una reserva para 2 habitación de cama extra grande por 6 días y 5 noches por booking , cuando llegue allá me dijeron que la reserva era solo de 1 persona y si quería que entren 2, que tenía que pagar aparte ….. y que solo tendría 1 solo desayuno Le expliqué que hice la reserva de 2 , quizá fue error de digitación mía o de booking pero luego de pedirle que porfavor considere que en la habitación estemos mi esposo y yo , nos acepto que estemos los 2 en la habitación pero que solo nos daría 1 desayuno , compresión cero amabilidad cero El Personal que atienden no es cordial en el restaurante, pésima experiencia

La comida del desayuno deja mucho que desear en términos de calidad y variedad. Panificados , variedades , la selección de frutas muy básica. Deberían ofrecer no solo buffet sino alguna alternativa más fresca.

It would’ve been nice to have someone making fresh eggs. The cleaning, restaurant and security staff were very nice and friendly. The rooms lack decoration, there are no rugs. The lamps have different color lights. The air condition in the room is extremely loud and old. The walls in the room were scratched and dirty. The pool looked nice, but the jacuzzi had murky-cloudy water. The receptionist staff were rude, dry and uninviting. They seemed annoyed to have guests coming in.

Had not so great service at least twice, they kept messing with our food (if it was a 2-star hotel it would be understandable but waiter messed up our order and the next day they served frozen food. Additionally, every single day there were flies all over the breakfast. Terrible food experience.

• Jackson-Martina (4/5): - I like that the room was clean. The beds were uncomfortable. There was an AC unit on the floor blowing air. One of their amenities was free airport shuttle service. To our surprise this was not the case, they would call the airport shuttle for you but you were responsible to pay the $35. We arranged an Uber instead which were $27. Staff was not helpful and not friendly.

• Tracy (5/5): A Fail Jacuzzi but nice getaway - The room was beautiful , the cleaning staff was very amicable and they did accomodate my special request with no issue. The Pool said to be heated but it was cold, every other guest that arrived had the same dissapointment and annoyance for this, the Jacuzzi was more of a heated pool not a proper jacuzzi temperature, it was told to another guest that it wasnt working but it did work to keep it at a 25 degree temperature . The restaurant had many meals spicy that were not listed in the menu as spicy , also a creme that was filled with seeds of the vegetable which shouldnt have been.

Además, se reservó para literal pasar la noche de bodas y se nota que nadie lee notas al respecto, todo muy simple. El servicio fue deficiente la verdad

• benjamin (7/5): Idéal pour une ou deux nuit car pratique pour se rendre à l’aéroport - L’hôtel est en périphérie du centre ville, la chambre était spacieuse, le petit déjeuné était bon et l’hôtel propose piscine et salle de sport. Pas de commerce à proximité et rien n’est fait pour les piétons autour.

Me encantó todo volveré cuando necesite de nuevo

Me cobraron el traslado al aeropuerto en la web de booking.com no decía nada de cargo extras. Y el encargado del check in me trato mal, con indiferencia y prepotentemente. Realmente desagradable el momento y desconfianza de lo que le estaba diciendo y después ratificado por el mismo, que yo tenía razón, pero sin dármela. Muy desagradable.

• Wolfgang (3/5): Bekommen Sie Zimmer 143 schlafen Sie auf der Autobahn - Ich war bereits mehrfach in dem Hotel. Es ist sauber und hat eine Parkgarage. Letzteres ist der Grund, warum ich dort mehrfach war. Preis- Leistung passt. Grundsätzlich ist die Lage schwierig. Direkt an der Autobahn und vor einer Mautstation, sodass die LKW per Motorbremse langsamer werden. Ich hatte dieses Mal das Zimmer 143, welches mir das Gefühl gab, mit dem Bett auf der Autobahn zu stehen. In dem Hotel sollte man darauf bestehen, Zimmer zu bekommen, die auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite liegen.

They also have a gym (not too equipped but still decent) and pool. Staff was nice. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was quite modern. View was also lovely! The hotel is a bit old. You can see it in the rooms especially.
