• Silke (8/5): Tolles Stadthotel in bester Lage! - Super Lage! Tolle Restaurants, Cafés in direkter Umgebung. Straßenbahn T1 fährt direkt in die Altstadt zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Sehr schöne Zimmer, gute Dusche. Frühstück war im Nachbarhotel mit wunderbarer Aussicht und Rundumblick. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter. Zimmer vorne raus ist laut, aber bei geschlossenen Fenstern ist es ok. Treppenhaus ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, bin über einen alten aufgerissenen Teppich gefallen. Aber kein Grund das Hotel nicht zu buchen!

• Rachael (9/5): Comfortable, convenient & very friendly. - The location was very convenient for seeing the Historical Sites in Sultanahmet. Staff were super friendly, accommodating and offered recommendations. The bed was super comfortable and room was fairly sound proof considering the busy street below! Very minor, but it was difficult to find a switch for the bathroom light & dehumidifier (we kept meaning to ask and forgot!) so we were unable to turn it off.

Завтраки хоть и не слишком разнообразные, но всегда можно найти что поесть и насладится очень красивым в дом на Босфор. Персонал нереально классный и приятный, как минимум из-за них хочется туда вернуться! Все прошло отлично!

• Monica (10/5): It's a very special place with a warm welcome and loads to see and do. - We felt really welcome. Mert and team were so hospitable and attentive - they really cared that we were comfortable and had all we needed. The hotel itself is in a good location with great options for lunch and dinner close by. There is also a really nice jazz club 5 minutes away. Tbh very little. It is on a fairly busy street, but noise wasn't too much of a problem for us.

Smart very contemporary decor and spacious light room with good facilities and comfortable bed. Complementary Turkish coffee and tea in reception and kettle and coffee machine with pods in room. Excellent breakfast in neighbouring partner hotel on 9th floor with spectacular view. Highly recommended! Nothing

The rooms were exactly as they were in the photos, we had everything needed (even Bluetooth speaker). Rooms were small but clean and comfortable. I want to give a special thank you to the staff: Mert and Ibrahim were incredibly welcoming; I don't think any hotel has ever taken such good care of us as they did here! Thank you very much. I 100% recommend this hotel and I will stay here again. the pillow was too hard for me
• Laila (6/5): On the spectrum of hostel to hotel, much closer to hostel - Location was fantastic, staff were very kind and helpful. They checked in several times about whether there was anything they could improve which was nice, but the issue was mostly in advertising so didn't have much to say. The hotel itself is fine, just not quite what it's advertised to be. Certainly closer to a hostel in ambiance and amenities than appears from their website or reviews. Rooms are quite small with no real space to sit/be besides the bed, wifi doesn't really work, and everything feels a little run down.
• Eva (10/5): Tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis - Das Zimmer war schön und sauber. Das Frühstück war in Buffetform im Hotel neben dran mit Rooftop Ausblick und großer Auswahl. Das Personal war immer ansprechbar, ausgesprochen hilfsbereit und sehr gastfreundlich. Das Reinigungspersonal war immer während unseres Frühstücks da und hat alles schön hinterlassen. Es gibt immer Kaffee und Tee und eine gemütliche Bar ist auch vorhanden. Die Haltestelle Tophane ist nur 3 min entfernt. Die Lage ist sehr gut in Karaköy. Es könnte evtl noch eine Lampe mehr geben in dem Zimmer. Ansonsten gibt es nichts zu meckern.

La cama muy mala. para ir a desayunar tenias que caminar una cuadra, y el lugar donde se desayunaba estaba sucio,cables por todos lados, poca variedad, y la atencion no fue muy buena.
• Marius_76 (10/5): Good location for the short stay. - Location is more than perfect. In 2 minutes walk you have mass of restaurants, bars etc.... Staff is very friendly. Rooms are simple, but have all basic items. Tram T1 station is 100m from the hotel door, so you can reach most POI's very comfortably. Galata tower is 10mins walk away too. A bit noisy if you want to sleep with window open. Bathroom doors are very noisy, (steel), a bit lack of light in the bathroom. Breakfast is in another building and is ok, but could be mo variety. No beer at the hotel's bar, but as there are plenty of bars around it is not a big issue....

Рядом много В отеле современный дизайн, уборка каждый день, отзывчивый персонал, помогает во всех вопросах. Даже одолжили деньги, когда были праздники и закрыты обменные пункты. Обязательно вернемся! Официанты на завтраке не слишком приветливы :(

• Andrew (10/5): Great location, excellent staff, and very good facilities. - Stayed for five nights and had a really great experience overall. The hotel is well run and the facilities are excellent. Guests can also use the gym and spa at the sister hotel, Root, which are both very good. The location is a big plus, right in the heart of Karaköy and within easy walking distance of cafés, restaurants, and the waterfront. The staff were also fantastic. Mert and Ibrahim at the concierge were extremely helpful throughout my stay, and when there was a small air-conditioning issue in my room they quickly arranged a room change with no hassle. The elevator is quite small and there is only one serving the floors, so occasionally you might have to wait, but it was never really a major issue.

• Maria Deborah (10/5): Boutique hotel di design nel cuore di Karakoy. Super consigliato - La struttura si trova nel cuore del quartiere Karakoy a pochi passi da tanti locali e dalla movida. L’hotel è molto bello, di design, curato nei minimi particolari. La colazione viene servita nel rooftop dell’hotel accanto, bellissimo ed è buonissima e abbastanza ricca e variegata. Il personale sempre gentile, disponibile e sono presenti in reception h24. L’ultimo giorno ci hanno portato anche della frutta in camera, gesto carino e super apprezzato. La nostra stanza era un po’ piccola ma nonostante questo era molto confortevole e curata. Forse avrei voluto più spazio per i vestiti.

• Nicole (10/5): Great central location, nice surroundings, helpful warm and friendly team. - A very satisfied stay we were welcomed and taken to the tram stop on the first day to assist with a local travel card, it just made things a little smoother. Also keen to advise on any travel tips and accommodate any way. A very central location and hospitable team. Breakfast was located next door in the sister hotel a healthy selection and fantastic view. Showers worked great warm almost immediately and good force. Heater and air con worked well. The decor was quirky too. We had a really pleasant stay. Only thing which was a bit high and too much puff for me was the pillows but that is just a personal preference. I like a flat pillow but they had no bumps which was good.

• Valentina (8/5): - Really great position, probably one of the best areas in town. You can easily walk to the main point of interests of the city. Really close to all sorts of bars and restaurants. My room was quiet despite the hotel being located in a popular spot. Not major but the rooftop, gym and spa are located in a other hotel situated a few blocks away. The gym there is not great, same for the spa.Generally the hotel is rather a 3 stars according to EU standards.

• Ahmed (5/5): Average hotel. With grey safety. - Nice location. Quite room. Clean I was stolen in this hotel. I discovered the theft at the last day. I reported to the management during check out. 300$ and 20 euros are not a money I may not notice it’s disappearance!! They texted me later that they checked camera (at the time I suspected theft to happen) and found no one entering my room. That doesn’t prove anything as much as doesn’t exile anything. I also reported suspicious behavior from one of the staff. Because I stayed in the room for two nights. There were many chances to do this. Anyway, the manager didn’t ignore my complaint. But the result was not fulfilling. I expected deep search for the whole stay period. Especially that I didn’t ask for any money. I just left and asked to find the thief. I will surely not come back again. And I assure everyone to take care. Because someone might be still there uncovered. Hint: Room Safe is locked and doesn’t work. Sounds suspicious?!!
• Onur (9/5): Ein rundum angenehmer Aufenthalt mit sauberem Zimmer, perfekter Lage und außergewöhnlich hilfsbereit - Ich kann den negativen Kommentaren zu diesem Hotel überhaupt nicht zustimmen. Mein Aufenthalt im SuB Karaköy war absolut hervorragend! Das Zimmer war stets sehr sauber und komfortabel. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die ruhige Atmosphäre des Hotels, obwohl es mitten in der Stadt liegt – abends war es immer angenehm ruhig. Die Lage könnte nicht besser sein: In nur 2 Minuten erreicht man die Metrostation und Busstation, und in 5 Minuten ist man am Galataport. Ein Bankautomat befindet sich ebenfalls nur 1 Minute entfernt. Ein großes Lob geht an das Personal, insbesondere an Yazan und Ibrahim. Beide waren äußerst hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend – sowohl bei der Ankunft als auch beim Check-out. Sie haben sich immer wieder erkundigt, ob alles in Ordnung war, und bei eventuellen Fragen oder Problemen sofort eine Lösung gefunden. Der Service war wirklich top! Ich kann dieses Hotel jedem empfehlen, der eine zentrale und angenehme Unterkunft in Istanbul sucht. Ich werde definitiv wieder hier übernachten, wenn ich zurück in der Stadt bin!

There was a party at the restaurant on the rooftop during the first night of our stay making it extremely loud and hard to sleep until 2am. That was really disappointing… pretty loud on any night anyway given proximity to the bars.

• Nick (10/5): A fabulous, well priced, hotel in the best area for everything - What a lovely hotel, with great staff, and in the best location for everything. Tram only 2 minutes away will get you literally everywhere. Lots of little bars and restaurants on the doorstep and the most amazing breakfast room on the 9th floor with outstanding views, especially as it transforms at night to a very lovely top restaurant. We’ll stay next time in Istanbul! Nothing not to love!

Les chambres sont spacieuses très bien équipées et décorées avec beaucoup de goût et des matériaux authentiques, pas de plastique. La grande douche bien carrelée fait beaucoup de bien. Il peut y avoir de la musique le soir dans la cour centrale, mais les chambres sont bien insonorisées

They didn’t give me the code to the wifi upon check in, when I called the front desk nobody answered and I had to go down there to speak to someone, the bathroom was showing real wear in the shower seal and other parts - in need of a tune up!

The location couldn't be better – just a short walk from the Galata Bridge and near some of Istanbul's trendiest neighborhoods like Karakoy, Beyoglu, Kabatas, which are full of cool cafes, restaurants, and shops. The area has a lively, urban vibe, and we loved that the street parallel to the hotel was lined with great spots for breakfast or a casual meal. The hotel itself is modern and well-designed, with comfortable rooms that made for a relaxing stay after a day of sightseeing. This is definitely a perfect base for exploring Istanbul! The muezzin sound during the night. The hotel should provide earplugs

There, you’ll find a beautiful rooftop terrace offering a generous buffet featuring a wide variety of authentic Turkish dishes. A tram stop is just a one-minute walk away, providing easy access to major attractions such as the Hagia Sophia and the Grand Bazaar. The breakfast staff could be friendlier and more attentive.

The location is perfect – central but quiet – and the hotel has a modern, creative feel. Everything was clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was fresh and tasty. Overall, very good value for money. We would happily stay here again. /

• Christopher (6/5): We loved Istanbul and the location of our hotel. We felt a little let down by the slightly tired state of the place and - Location The bathroom needed some serious renovation. The breakfast was not great. Lack of selection, poor coffee. The room it’s served in is really hot.

• Galina (10/5): Exceptional - Best location, best hotel, close to everything in my interest and in walkable distance from coffee places, restaurants. Very nice area close to the sea and to the new Istanbul neighbourhoods. I recommend the place.
• Jose (10/5): Amazing location and perfect stay for Istanbul - The location was perfect. Karakoy is a wonderful suburb to walk around. Plenty of cafes and restaurants. Walking distance to port, Galata tower and other attractions. The tram/cable car stop is just around the corner - which can take you to the Metro or directly to Sultanahmet. The accomodation was very comfortable and had a very artistic and modern feel, which ties in well to the Karakoy aesthetic. Would definitely stay here again. Nothing. But I was travelling alone and the space was perfect for my needs. Some couples may find the rooms on the smaller side but definitely sufficient.
• Ana (7/5): Good - The location is very central. There are a lot of restaurants and cafés around. The stuff was extremely friendly, always helping and taking care of the guest. The area is very loud—like, really loud. I live in a city, but Istanbul is another category. My room was facing a courtyard and still I couldn't open the windows. I also had no view and the room was very dark. Upstairs was a restaurant that I could hear until late. The room needed some maintenance and a deep clean. Neither the small stereo nor the Nespresso machine were working. The hotel gym also needed maintenance and some equipment (very typical for a hotel gym). When leaving the room and taking the card out, the fridge also turned off. My food went off—something maybe to consider.

• Esther (6/5): Just ok - Breakfast Took a long time to get a taxi. My luggage, with my stuff in it was knocked over. Housekeeping knew about it but didn’t say anything. Front desk was going to follow up with the manGer but nothing happened
• Robert (8/5): Great location and friendly staff - Location was excellent, had everything you wanted. Room was clean and had good facilities. Some of the carpets have strands coming off and the staircase carpet is worn. Bathroom had been repaired before. We weren’t told about breakfast so to be told the breakfast was additional cost at check out was a surprise.
