Guest Reviews
- Nicole (8/5): Fun, good location, kids enjoyed the pool and trampolines - Comfortable beds Older property could do with an upgrade
- Gavin (9/5): -
- Peter (10/5): -
- Andrew (5/5): It was acceptable, and the owner did respond promptly to our concerns. - N/A The previous occupant had apparently stolen the pots and pans and left cheap ones which did not work with the induction hob. This had not been noticed by the staff, but new pots were provided when we reported it. Could do with spare trash baags and cleaning cloths. Also it would be useful to provide instructions on use of washing machine.
- Jessica (7/5): - It had a lot of room, was clean and nice The aircon was terrible and was extremely hot,the toilet didnt flush properly.
- Haffenden (1/5): -
- Chrissy (9/5): -
- Brooke (4/5): - The property was clean and tidy, and had its own washing machine facility.
It is close enough to local shops for emergency supplies.
The kids enjoyed access to a pool and to the trampolines. There were electrical faults from the lamp in the small bedroom. And it was just tucked away in the cupboard rather than being fixed or thrown away. That felt hazardous.
The holiday units are the upper level of rented accommodation. We were not expecting to be in such a low socioeconomic area, and personally I felt quite shocked to see the interactions of the local children. They bombarded the swimming pool area in the afternoon and were rude to us. They treated each other probably exactly how they are treated within their families. Swearing, nastiness, bullying. I saw 11year olds vaping from a slightly older teenagers vape. I saw a young child in nappies, unaccompanied, launch himself into the swimming pool, and I was on the edge of my seat to jump in and grab him. Fortunately one of the teenagers realised, pulled him out, and took him out of the pool area back home.
I come from a beautiful area of southern WA and it made me feel like I should have just stayed at home. It made me sad for the state of our society, and the hurt and pain that is getting passed down generation to generation. I would not stay there again to be totally honest.
- laura (10/5): - absolutely loved it!! family friendly, great facilities, very clean, beds were super comfy.

Lots of space for a family to stay.
Kids loved the pool and trampolines.
Kitchen facilities were great- even had an air fryer!
Place was immaculately clean. Pool area doesn’t close till 9pm and kids are on the trampolines that are a bit noisy. Not great if you want kids to get an early night but not terrible.
- Marlene (6/5): - The room was spotless. The young people around the pool using bad language and being rude ...

- Gorringe (7/5): - The downstairs bed was super comfy. Rhe room was nice and dark which was good for naps. The kitchen was well stocked with glass ware, plates etc. Internet/wifi did not work. There were 3 different wifi connection/password combinations and non of them worked. We had to Hotspot to use internet.

Pool and trampoline for kids
Internet access
Coffee tea and milk available on arrival. Body wash shampoo conditioner samples.
Kitchen set up although there was no pot ware to use on the special induction stove making it unusable. Availability of washing machine ,although didn't use it Stairs to 2nd bedroom were not suitable for a toddler.
Outside children's playground rusty components and questionable quality of the play equipment.
Longterm residents are living in the location , their environments are messy. Advertising of this facility is misrepresented and created concerns for security of our vehicle
Office was not accessible during our stay and was unkempt.
- Jenkins (5/5): Passable -
- Jo-anne (9/5): Superb - Clean, tidy, comfortable. Great amenities. The air conditioner barley worked and we had 2 extremely hot daysso that was a bit annoying
- Janine (10/5): Mandurah Family Resort - Mandurah Resort was easy to find, and our Villa was clean, comfortable, and tidy.
Management was also very helpful prior to us arriving and upon our arrival once there.
Under the circumstances, as a family, it was a great place to have while away from our home.
Thank you once again
- Colin (9/5): Superb - Stairs to upstairs area creaking. (wooden floor boards). Nothing serious
- Tracey (8/5): Very enjoyable, great facilities and location. - It was a little hot in the upstairs section, as there is no air con on the second floor.
- Kim (3/5): Not pleasant - Location Too hot, aircon not covered upstairs
- Alana (8/5): Very good -
- Julie (4/5): Children swimming in the pool who apparently lived there were using very obscene language, not suitable for children or - Property was clean and tidy. We were unaware that it was a loft and we had a two year with us and the stairs were dangerous for that age and also the concrete steps to our unit.
Very hot as only one very old air conditioner, bedrooms hot.
Toddler did topple down the stairs and fortunately he wasn’t
badly hurt.
- Ava (6/5): It was a nice view to the beach and affordable and flexible for our needs. - The price and value for money. The short distance to the beach. The location and environment was unpleasant and didn’t feel very safe.
- Samantha (8/5): Very good - Pool was nice and close to apartment , walking distance to board walk enjoy the playground facilities for kids . Rooms were nice and clean kitchen was great with fridge n Pantry. The upstairs was super noisy if you walked around and the bed was very squeaky if you moved , so kept others awake in downstairs room. Going up or down the stairs was loud even when trying to be quite , would of been better if it was better sound proof .
- Chris (4/5): Good Location and Facilities, but Misleading Room Setup and Uncomfortable Stay - This is an older style property but it boasts an excellent location, conveniently close to both the beach and the town. The on-site facilities and well maintained gardens were impressive, offering tennis and basketball courts as well as a lovely pool and spa that the kids thoroughly enjoyed. Our villa was small, but clean and well-equipped for self-catering, complete with all necessary utensils and the added convenience of an in-room washing machine, which proved very handy. We visited as a family group (2 parents, 1 grandparent, and 2 very young children) for two nights, specifically booking this property because it was advertised as '2-bedroom,' promising private spaces for both sets of adults. Unfortunately, it is NOT 2-bedroom - there’s one bedroom and an upstairs mezzanine in the roof space that offers zero privacy. To make matters worse, 5 of the 7 available beds are on the mezzanine, so anyone staying there ends up waking with the first light or noise, disrupting the entire group.
The stay was made even more uncomfortable by the heat during our visit. With only one small, noisy aircon unit in the living area attempting to cool the entire property, the upstairs mezzanine became unbearably hot from midday onwards, even with its ceiling fan. It was practically unusable during the day and very uncomfortable in the evening. The lack of effective window coverings also meant the mezzanine was flooded with light at sunrise (around 4:30 am), making it hard for folks up there to sleep. If you have kids - be warned that you'll be having some early mornings!
The main bedroom wasn’t much better. Almost completely filled by its bed, it felt dark and stuffy, with poor airflow. While a pedestal fan was provided, there were no sockets to plug it in! The lack of power outlets also meant we couldn’t even charge our phones overnight—an inconvenience that feels outdated and frustrating.
Reception never seemed to be open to discuss these issues. While a maintenance number was available and responsive, I didn’t feel up to lodging a formal complaint with them - I just wanted to get through the stay and go home, and departed feeling utterly exhausted.
- Nadine (7/5): For an old property it was neat and clean a bit dark - Clean Lighting
Stairs
- Louise (9/5): We had a lovely time and would definitely come back :) - Location and ability to accomodate a group. The mattresses were a little uncomfortable. Some of the lights needed light bulbs and didn’t work.
- Garde (9/5): Accommodation was spacious and comfortable, the pool was great - Plenty to do for the kids The shower head wouldn’t stay up.
- Angela (7/5): Good -
- Joshua (8/5): Very good -
- Helena (9/5): We would enjoy staying here again. - Easy and fast booking process, accessible key pick up and simple key return. Loved having a washing machine in the property, great feature when on holiday with kids who are in the pool and at the beach a lot. And appreciated the vacuum cleaner too! These simple additions made our week holiday more enjoyable. No big complaints, the property functioned well for our family of 4.
- Bree (8/5): Great price, location and amenities for school holiday getaway - Loved the ease of check in and check out with the lock box.
Loved the location of our unit with teenagers, perfect spot. Great to be able to bring a group away for a reasonable price Would have loved instructions for appliances.
