• L. (10/5): Top locatie , top schoon, top bedden - De locatie! Het appartement lag aan een klein hofje / stil en rustig midden in de bruisende stad! Alles was aanwezig in het zeee schone appartement met fijne bedden! De douche was niet zo warm en het was s avonds wat fris in het appartement .
• Charlotte (8/5): Convenient base for exploring - Convenient location very close to the Vatican and walking distance to Centro Storico. Basic necessities were provided (tea, coffee, laundry pods, small amount of toiletries). Aldo and Mirko were very friendly, provided us with tips for exploring, and responded quickly to any questions we had. Wifi connection was a bit unstable and randomly dropped off.

Meitä odotettiin asunnolla ja perehdytettiin todella hyvin asunnon yksityiskohtiin meidät vastaanottaneen henkilön toimesta. Asunto oli todella siisti ja hiljainen. Molempiin makuuhuoneisiin kuului oma kylpyhuone. Molemmissa huoneissa oli TV ja ilmalämpöpumppu. Meille oli varattu maitotölkki, iso vesipullo, keksejä ja suolaisia snäksejä, lisäksi asunnossa oli valmiina mm. kahvikapselit, öljyt ja mausteita, suolaa jne. Ehkä astioita ja aterimia olisi saanut olla monipuolisemmin.

• Juliana (10/5): Very nice and clean apartment for exploring the Vatican and Rome! - The stay in this apartment was really a pleasure! It is very nicely located, especially if you want to visit the Vatican. But also the rest of Rome is equally easy to reach! The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay for 4 persons. You could also cook, but because the host gives you a such great welcome you get recommendations for everything you can and should eat, drink, buy or visit during your stay! I would highly recommend this apartment and his Host! Some extra pillows would be nice, but the rest was perfect!

• N (9/5): Smooth, Convenient and Comfortable - Spacious, nicely decorated for Christmas The apartment is actually accessible by a flight of stairs up and down. Not a big deal but just inconsistent with whats expected when you hear “located on ground floor”
• Gerd (10/5): Super Woche in Rom - Die Ferienwohnung liegt sehr zentral im Stadtteil Prati, nahe am Vatikan. Der Zimmerzuschnitt (je ein eigenes Bad) sowie die Ausstattung sind gut und zweckmäßig. Kühlschrank, Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine sind vorhanden. Im Umkreis von 800 Metern gibt es eine Metro-Station, einen Supermarkt (100 m), und mindestens 10 Lokalitäten unterschiedlicher Preisklasse. Die Betreuung durch die Brüder Aldo und Mirko war außergewöhnlich gut. Selbst die Bitte um einen Shuttle vom und zum Flughafen wurde erfüllt. Das Quartier ist uneingeschränkt weiterzuempfehlen. Und fällt nichts ein. ;-)

• Carolyn (10/5): Amazing Stay at Fotofever Apartment - We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days from 27-30th November to do the Holy Doors. Our stay at Fotofever Apartment in Prati was absolutely wonderful. The apartment was beautifully decorated, spotless, and incredibly comfortable—truly a home away from home. The location is superb. The Pewex supermarket is literally opposite the apartment, just 100 yards away. We also loved La Pratolina, a local restaurant recommended by Mirko (one of the owners)—their Pinsa is the best we’ve ever had! The nearby gelateria Guilla, just past Pewex, served some of the best gelato in Rome. The Ottaviano metro station is only a 7-minute walk away, and Via Germanico offers plenty of shops, cafés, and restaurants. The hosts made the experience exceptional—both Aldo and Mirko were warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. They even surprised us with thoughtful welcome gifts like cookies, snacks, milk, and a beer for my husband, which was such a lovely touch. Their communication was excellent, and they truly went out of their way to make our stay perfect. We couldn’t have chosen a better place. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean, cozy, and perfectly located apartment with outstanding hospitality. Grazie Mille Aldo and Mirko. None
• Kris (10/5): Very good experience overall. - The property was located in an excellent area close to local restaurants bars and shops. It was very easy to get to key places and the apartment was very clean with everything you could need. Also it was very quiet due to being behind the buildings on the main street so we got a good night's sleep. Finally the host was very nice and welcoming. He even reserved a table for us at a restaurant for my birthday! I can't think of anything that was bad or that I didn't like.

• Mike (10/5): Great apartment with 1st class service. - Apartment was compact yet plenty room. For 5 of us. Rooms comfy and clean, 2 shower rooms. Location was outstanding with supermarket over the road, 20-30 minutes walk from a lot of locations and a Metro station 5 minutes walk away. Hosts though are on another level. Simply the best host experience we've had. Could not do enough to ensure our stay was relaxing. True credit to their city. Leaving.

Tolle Lage im schönen Prati-Viertel, fußläufig zu Vatikan, Engelsburg, Tiber, Metro-Station, Geschäften und Restaurants. Trotzdem absolut ruhig. Das Appartement bietet reichlich Platz für 4 Personen und verfügt über 2 Bäder. Moderne, geschmackvolle Einrichtung mit allem, was es braucht, sehr bequeme Betten. Aldo und sein Bruder Mirko sind sehr aufmerksame und nette Gastgeber. Mit Nachdruck zu empfehlen!

• Sunny Booker (10/5): A beautiful apartment that is well positioned to enjoy Roma! - The apartment is comfortable and having two bathrooms and a laundry room is very special. It is well air-conditioned, but due to the design of the house it stays cool throughout the day which is great when you're out exploring the city and come in for an afternoon rest. The kitchen was very modern and the hosts left lovely snacks and beverages. Additionally there is a grocery store around the corner. Mirko and Aldo are wonderful hosts. I really appreciated them sitting down with us upon arrival to go over the apartment and the area. They are a wealth of knowledge and their love of Roma is evident. The elegant apartment is on a quiet neighborhood street close to everything. I have been in Rome several times but never stayed in the Prati area and I am sold. The food and restaurants in the area are amazing and the Metro is close by. I will be back. There is nothing I could suggest.

• Darrell (1/5): Despite a friendly host, the conditions and serious ant infestation made our stay stressful! - While the property owner was friendly, our stay was ultimately disappointing. The home was infested with ants, and by day three it became unbearable, especially with an infant and two small children. Upon arrival, we also found smelly towels left in a leaking washer, and the main room’s shower wasn’t working—though the owner did fix the shower head the next day. The location, near shops and the market, was the only real positive. When we reported the ant issue, the owner suggested we put down chemicals ourselves, which was unsafe for our children and not something we expected to handle on vacation. We requested and were granted a refund for the remaining days, but having to find new accommodations interrupted our trip and left us very disappointed.

From the moment we arrived to the apartment Aldo and Mirko were there to greet us and show us around the apartment. They took the time to show us a map of Rome and gave us incredible recommendations to local restaurants, grocery stores, attractions, etc. Our stay was too short in Rome, we would have loved to stay longer.

• Connie (10/5): At home, in Rome - The location was perfect! The apartment was spotlessly clean and modern. It was peaceful and the neighborhood felt safe. Aldo was a gracious host who was very helpful. The laundry facilities were a big plus! A TV stand that had been broken and repaired during a previous visitor's stay snapped when we scooted it to the side. Unfortunately, we are being held responsible. Otherwise, a perfect stay.

The host, Aldo, was at the door waiting for us upon arrival even though we were quite late. He provided great recommendations for restaurants and other amenities in the area. This condo is a dream. It is steps away from a metro station, and is lined with shops and restaurants all over. The location is also great as it is only a 7-10 minute walk away from the Vatican City. Great for early mornings or late evenings to avoid the big crowds and long lines. Aside from the location, the actual condo was great. It has everything you need and it comfortably fits a large group or family. The place was clean, had fast internet, and good water pressure! All in all, I cannot recommend this place more..

The metro (tube/subway) is walking distance with links to all the tourist attractions. The Vatican is a walkable distance from the apartment. Several restaurants, supermarkets and shops close by. The host was friendly and helpful through out the whole stay, answering questions via text if needed and provided a helpful guidebook of Rome.

• Emma (9/5): Modern clean apartment perfectly located for The Vatican - Perfect location for The Vatican and we did manage to access other attractions using the Metro (when it was running). The host left us a number of great recommendations for things to do in the local area, which we did - thank you...the local coffee shop and ice cream shop were both wonderful. The accommodation was clean and had all we needed, including a dishwasher :). We managed to cook and relax there around our manic day trips out. Bed were comfy, plenty of towels and the kitchen table big enough for us as a family of five. There's even a washing machine, if like us you are travelling Italy for a number of weeks. Great accommodation, great host and we'd defo return when in Rome.

The air condition was broken when we first arrived, but he managed to get it fixed in 1 day and even organised a temporary standing fan for us. • Colin (9/5): Aldo made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived and took the time to sit down and explain some of the must-see - Fantastic location, super helpful host, good sized space for the family. Some extra utensils in the kitchen would have been helpful such as another saucepan, normal cereal bowls. Also somewhere to hang towels in the en-suite bathroom would have been handy too, but overall these were only small nice to haves.
• Fi-s (10/5): Amazing homely appartment with easy access to metro, Vatican City and walks to nearby restaurants. - We absolutely loved our stay here. We arrived jetlagged and tired and Aldo did his upmost to let us in early. The appartment was fully equipped and we needed nothing more. Washing machine, tumble dryer, dish washer and things like tea and coffee made it so much easier not to have to jump straight out the door to do some Shopping. The appartment is centrally located to nearby things in area like Vatican City, metro, super markerlt and great little restaurants around the corner. We would love to visit again.

He contacted me at the point of booking and arranged our airport transfers and allowed us to drop off the bags early on our first day when we were exhausted from our plane ride. He had great recommendations for sightseeing and eating. He was very proactive which is important when you are renting a private vacation rental. We enjoyed Gutilla gelato and Alice Pizza which were a stone's throw away from the apartment. The washing machine and dryer were a godsend:) There is a supermarket just across the road for sundries & food. Property is highly recommended! Many thanks to ALDO for a wonderful stay! • Danjen (10/5): Excellent apartment for travelers of all kinds. - Very well furnished, in a great location, great value for rate, excellent and pleasant host. The apartment is flexible. You can dine out or cook at home, adjust the temperature by room, do laundry, etc. Very close to several great restaurants, retail, reasonably close to several historic sites. Solid wifi. Nothing negative about the apartment. Rome is a large city and may be a bit overwhelming for first time visitors to Italy.

• David (10/5): Excellent apartment in a secluded courtyard within easy reach of Vatican and Metro. - Aldo contacted us about a week before our stay to find out our arrival time and offered advice on how to get from the airport. Aldo met us at the apartment to show us around, go through the welcome pack and to offer other advice and guidance (and later sent us useful links). Aldo also contacted us part way through the stay to see if we were ok. Property was clean and had everything you could need - 2 bathrooms (shower, toilet and sink in each), dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, (small) oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, iron, ironing board, hair dryer and a tv in both bedrooms and the lounge area. The apartment is hidden in a quiet courtyard behind a building on Via Germanico, 10 minutes walk from St Peter’s Square, 10 minutes walk from the Vatican museum and under 10 minutes from the nearest Metro. If you are up for a walk, many of the architectural sites are within 45 minutes walk from the apartment to them (Colosseum, Forum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon etc.) There is a locals supermarket less than 100 metres away and numerous cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance (there is a bar virtually next door that serves a good pint of Guinness). Aldo, thank you for the use of your apartment and your obvious care for your guests. There is nothing I didn’t like about this apartment.

It was very easy and he was at the apartment to welcome us and settle us in. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms were perfect for two couples. a small living room and dining area made us very comfortable. Aldos suggestions and directions gave us a very good start to our five days in Rome. The apartment us in a very good location. we had many choices of restaurants snd we walked yo Vatican and Castel sa’Angelo. two metro stops to the old town and all the sights. we were all 70 but walked yo Spanish Steps I noted all previous reviews had nothing negative to say about this apartment and that was the reason I booked it. I have to say there is nothing negative I can say too. although be aware of the high steps to enter from the street and then another set of steps to go down into the apartment. no drama but luggage was tricky.
• Meg (10/5): Exceptional - very nice,clean and cosy when im coming to rome i would like to get this property again also its very close to everything I like such as shopping, transportations and tourist attractions. The manager was very nice to us as well, Aldo. i love everything about the property
• Khuyen (10/5): Exceptional - Great location and quiet. Easy walk to all the major attractions, shopping and restaurants. Aldo is a great host, 10+ all the way. We have to leave at 3am to the airport and Aldo was very helpful by making a reservation for a private taxi.. Our driver, Daniele was very professional, punctual and friendly. Definitely will stay here again!
• Ching (10/5): An excellent apartment in an excellent location - Apartment looks new and was very clean. Aldo was extremely helpful providing information before our stay and when we checked in met us and gave us an orientation of the area, sights and restaurants. He also helped arrange for transportation on arrival and departure and for pickup of our our luggage for storage after checking out. Location was great. Good supermarket just around the corner and 3 excellent restaurants we ate in no more than 2-3 blocks away. Nothing really negative. Kitchen faucet splashes, one of the bathroom sink needs declogging, a big more light in the living room (the table lamp was working)

• Caroline (10/5): Excellent place and location, great memories at Fotofever! - Great place, feeling like home. Very quiet in a nice area. The supermarket in front of the house is excellent and made our life in Roma even easier. Aldo is a great person, friendly and helpful. Will definitely return!
