• Deborah (8/5): Very good - Room was comfortable and clean. Amenities were great and everything worked perfectly (including ice maker 😀). View was not amazing but likely due to being on a lower floor didn't help.
• Ahmadi (1/5): great staff, bad carparks, good location, - The renovated kitchen and bathroom, plus the ocean view, and the location. The Hotel is ancient, and other rooms are much cheaper than the price we were offered online; it was full of cockroaches day and night, and we had to cancel the other two nights of our vacation and stay in one of the hotel rooms with a much cheaper rate. Very disappointed with the owner and the value it was charged, as when we discuss the cockroaches infestation the owner still charged us with the highest rate for the one night.

• Helen (8/5): Excellent location and nice apartment - The location was fantastic. Just my daughter and I went and so close to beach and centre of Surfers Paradise. The apartment was clean and inviting and well kept. Everything we needed. The sliding door was difficult to open and curtains wouldn’t slide to make the most of the beautiful views. Site advertised one heated pool but neither were heated and it happened to be freezing while there with winds making pools colder so we couldn’t make most of having a nice relaxing swim as it was too cold. This was disappointing.

• Mary (10/5): Overall, we enjoyed our stay except the pricing.. - The property is central and close to beach and proximities which we appreciate. We also enjoyed the pool after our outings. The shower is leaking which makes the bathroom floor wet and slippery. As we only were staying at night due to day time trips, we think that the price is a bit higher than normal hotels..

Difficult to get enough detergent and coffee.. Also a bit difficult to reach the opening hours of the reception.

• Suzanne (10/5): Our stay was fabulous. Will definitely stay again. 😊😊 - The location was excellent just one street over from Cavill street where everything was happening. We parked the car and walked for the whole time we were there. The view for the unit was amazing. Very comfortable very clean . The bed was great. Listening to the ocean was amazing. There was nothing we didn’t like .
• Zhi (8/5): Great location/value, comfortable but bathroom needs update. - The location was amazing and it is nice how secure the apartment complex is (multiple locked doors which require key card access) and that there is a reception to address any issues. The overall space, kitchen amenitites and main bedroom is lovely! Robyn the host is also great and easy to communicate with. The water from the shower leaked everywhere and the drainage is terrible. Also there is dirt near the old grouting. It isn't very clean, the grouting between tiles needs to be redone and the shower box repaired somehow. There is also an odd smell in the hallways (old building/carpeting).

Tiny nit picky things - curtains aren't blockout so very light very early. Shower leaks, chain on lounge sliding door to deck broken. As I said really small things but did not impact my holiday

Fully renovated and with an amazing view of the beach. Checkin check out was super easy and communication with the host was immediate Full size double fridge and everything made it feel so comfortable Washing machine dryer was really handy too Building extremely secure for single travellers Highly recommend - no issues at all

I don’t think the photos did the room justice. The pool was dated, but I think it’s having an upgrade. We were so close to the beach though, we didn’t really want to use the pool.

Then on the - Great location and good views of the beach from our room Being told on arrival that there was a security bond to be paid when there was nothing said when booked and nothing on there site about it was okay the room had a fair bit of dust which we cleaned and a plant in the room which attracted bugsi

• Claire (10/5): This was a dream holiday. We've been to Gold Coast before but this was the best! - Location was amazing. Lovely views and you could hear the sea. Clean apartment and located right in the heart of Surfers. Near to everything. Great to have free parking as well. Some people have been a bit negative about the parking but we found it fine. You have to use your room card to open the gate leaving and coming in but felt secure. We always found a space easily. The host was very responsive when we contacted her. People have mentioned this before but some of the reception staff could maybe do with being a bit friendlier but on the whole they were mostly helpful! There was a miscommunication about our checkout (down to the reception staff) which meant we had to leave before we were ready and had to leave our rubbish behind (which I still feel bad about!)

It's central to everything and walking distance for most activities. Parking is also available. I wish check-in was a little earlier and check out a little later.

We used the tennis courts, which were well maintained. Best shower I've had in a long time, and the bed was very comfy. Would have been better if we'd had 2 x access cards as sometimes we wanted to go out seperately. Not sure if that was available.

• Laura (10/5): Clean, convenient and relaxing - Location was very convenient and it was very relaxing to sit on the balcony and watch the ocean. There are restaurants and supermarkets close, the tram is a block away and the beach a two minute walk. It was clean and neat. The host was very accessible during our stay too. We stayed for 6 nights and there was only 1 lot of washing powder and one lot of washing up liquid. (There was nothing for the dishwasher). More of this could be bought from the front desk but I recommend bring some with you as it's much cheaper.

• Amy (8/5): Lovely apartment stay - The apartment was renovated perfectly and amenities clean and atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing. The host Robyn was easy to communicate with and extremely helpful. The car parking at this property (beachcomber resort) was terrible and the instructions for safely navigating the aged basement need an overhaul. The lift only went to the first car park level and not the lower level which made it hard for my elderly father.

Off street parking for security. The apartment was exactly what we love when staying in Surfers Paradise, very homely, close to everything, the best shower after a full day of shopping. Will definitely be staying here again. Thank you so much Robyn. Not a thing, everything was perfect.

• Jessica (10/5): Great spot in the Heart of Surfers - Everything was perfect. The room was so so nice, modern, and clean. When we arrived the aircons were on and the tv was already set up and running with the owners netflix which was really convenient. The location was superb, just a quick walk from EVERYTHING and accessing our room was very easy even when drunk 🤣 This isnt really a negative but we almost missed that there are two levels to park in because of lack of signage. We arrived back at the hotel very late and got a bit scared when the first parking level was completely full.. luckily we found the next level. The balconies are a little bit small too, but we were grateful to have one. Also the sofa bed did not come with extra blankets but reception took care of us.

• Nina (3/5): Disappointed - That it was clean and close to everything. We only booked the room because it said it had a spa bath. But no bath at all. You tried to call them to tell them about it and they didn't bother to even acknowledge us at all. So we sent 2 emails telling them how upset I was that there was no spa. False advertising and misleading . No reply at all to even say sorry . So I am disappointed. Anyone else wanting a spa make sure you call first as they have renovated and not changed their facilities the room has. Im very upset and it changed my whole weekend as I have been very stressed and it was meant to help my breakdown . Was really looking forward to a spa for many reasons. Im very disappointed with them not following up with us. Such a shame .
• Pierre (10/5): Perfect in every sense! - Beautifully decorated, very stylish. Upmarket look, lovely and clean. Everything you need is provided. Even a broom, and a pan! Views are under rated! FANTASTIC sea views. Will stay nowhere else should I visit Surfer's again. Just park the car, and walk everywhere. Secure parking as well. Fantastic alright, will be recommending this to anyone visiting Surfers Paradise. Only 'downside' just after cleaning the glass door, for a clear view..... it rained, and I had to do it over again. :-) Also, the stay was too short!

• Martin (10/5): Wow, very nice place to stay in Surfers, close to the beach and shops (also shopping centers) - Very friendly and helpful contact. Always responded back very quickly. We did not know that the appartment is in the Beachcomber Surfers Paradise. We were looking for something with the name "Fabulous Sea Views ". So it took a while until we figured that out.
• Pamela (9/5): Superb - Great location. Tastefully refurbished apartment. Value for money. The only thing that was an issue was the shower. You had to make sure the shower head was facing away from the door before turning it on. Otherwise, it goes under the door and floods the bathroom. Could do with a small lip of some sort.
• Lisa (1/5): Bad - Outdoor pool shut from 7am to 4pm on the two days we were there, workmen invading our balcony drilling from 8am, we had to keep doors and curtains shut, owners were told of the works being carried out well into 2023, as we saw the notice in the lifts. The owners fail to compensate or take responsibility for this, I urge people never to use this apartment as they also said free wifi, but the staff told us the owners would not pay for a modem required to use wifi in the apartment
