Guest Reviews
- Moulton (7/5): -
- Wayne (9/5): -
- Carmen (3/5): The stay was unpleasant - Not much There was not enough hot water for one bath, not to mention the hair left from previous people in the bath (not cleaned properly). The cutlery was really old, not able to use and crockery was minimal.
- Guest (7/5): It was all we needed for one night stay, bonus is able to take our dog with us. Check in was 3pm - Location was good - enjoyed the outside entertainment area Quite out dated
- Ronald (9/5): -
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Jason (6/5): Lacking value. location average as well as house - Somewhat cosy As some feedback we really didn’t see the $300/night in the property. Location was average and the following list of things that made the stay less than what it could have been.
Television - ancient
- blinds lacking. Something more block out particularly from school lights but also street lights and privacy from neighbours
- Gardens not well kept. Non existent gardens really and this is the thorn farm. Thorns in and out of house from yard. Stuck in our feet and the dogs regularly. Also in carpet. They are nasty with really substantial thorns on them.
- Mattress - in back bedroom is terrible. So uncomfortable.
- Cooking equipment - very lacking.
- Coffee machine - broken where you put pod in. Also leaks.
- Kitchen extraction fan is filthy.
- Garbage bin stinks to high heaven. Never been cleaned out I suggest.
- Thanh (8/5): Very good -
- Gail (9/5): Superb - Very spacious great for large group. Yard, neighbour hood.
- Lyn (3/5): Poor - Quiet location Beds were very uncomfortable and rolled together. No extra blankets. Not enough seating in lounge, outdoor furniture awful. Grounds were just weeds and unkept. Felt the whole thing was very budget and overpriced
- Robin (10/5): Had everything we needed, will surely e back again - Nice decor and quirky back garden with festoon lights All good
- Ethan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nicole (9/5): Would happily return though since it was clean and easy for us to stay with dogs 😀 - Great to deal with, fast responses. Very dog friendly, large safe yard. Kitchen well supplied with utensils.
1 of the double beds is super saggy/old and needs more comfy seating in lounge.
Just some things to note: bathtub tap is leaking and needs washing up sponge needed, but thats pretty minor. Also previous occupants hadn’t picked up in the yard after their dogs so we did that prior to letting ours out.
- Boopathi (10/5): Exceptional - Spacious room and amenities
- Michael (8/5): Very good - Quite location great yard for dogs
- Connie (8/5): Very good - Nice and clean. Lovely. Need extra blankets. Maybe some games. There was no dish clothes. Bath tapes leaking.
- Mahendra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean, good bed, good yard for dogs, good location N.a.
- Dean (8/5): Very good -
- Anne (9/5): Superb - Very homey comfortable close to town and local shops takeaway IGA we brought our Furbabies and was great fenced off so Furbabies had a backyard to enjoy 😉 thank you Just a couple of things, nothing huge sponge or cloth to do dishes, extra toilet rolls and a fan in bedrooms still loved it 😀
- Carla (1/5): It was very unpleasant! - Leaving it! Uncomfortable beds, black hair in bed & bathroom, unclean, blocked kitchen sink, yard was a disgrace, No outdoor setting & it smelt.
- Diane (1/5): Bad - There was nothing I liked. It's a terrible place to stay.
I felt too sorry for my family members who visited from overseas. The price was too high for this place. The house was too old and wasn't maintained.
The house was very smelly.
Towel had a washing poweder smell and some weird smell, too.
Only one air conditioner in the living room wasn't enough to cool down other rooms and kitchen.
The kitchen was terrible to use. The dining table cover was dirty, which didn't clean properly after other people used. Dish washing liquid was just about 1 cm on the bottom of the bottle, which was mixed with water. I had to buy a new one to use. The kettle was disgusting. I bought a new kettle from K-hub.
- Bronwin (8/5): Very good - Whilst the house accommodated our needs as in it was pet friendly, we felt it was overpriced the time, and this was reiterated as we travelled across the Nullarbor and into SA with our dog and pet friendly accommodation, including motel rooms, caravan park cabins were way cheaper and much more modern and just as well equipped.
- Lindsey (6/5): Comfortably basic if you plan to spend most of your time out and about in and around Esperence - Comfortable Beds Lounge Area needs more seating for a family.
- Sherry (1/5): Most disappointed experience over all my stays - Nothing Everything
Very bad experience. Lights are broken. Not enough hot water for 6 people. Bed is extremely uncomfortable. No aircon in the room.
The most disappointed thing was they didn't notify me our missing items in the room even they already found it. I contacted them to arrange pickup but they just ignore my message and never replied
- Murugesan (8/5): Very good -
- Jenine (10/5): Exceptional - Messaged the property letting them know we were early by a couple of hours, them messaging back with the lock # straight away and recommending places to eat. Beautiful house style reminded me of back home in NZ. ❤️ Big back yard with a cute hut out back. Plenty of parking! Very homely, quiet area. Good size rooms. Everything was there. Wished we stayed another night! Highly recommend! Nothing all boxes ticked!
- Jacqueline (5/5): Passable -
- Shanhun (1/5): The house is in need of repair and general TLC. I cannot recommend this property and it is not worth the rates charged. - Nothing When we arrived, there was no iron, ironing board & despite a nice washing machine, no washing basket or pegs. There are no wine glasses, bedside lamps, ovenware, salt or pepper. There is also a timer connected to the electric HWS, which limits your access to hot water.
- Bron (4/5): Disappointing -
- Susan (7/5): Good -
- Julie (8/5): Clean comfortable spacious with outdoor setting - Clean tidy close to town Ran out of hot water no lights in lounge, no fans/heating in bedrooms
- Jarna (7/5): Good - The beds were very very comfortable. House had everything we needed. No wine glasses that we could find and washing up sponges.
- Krishan (4/5): Disappointing -
- Peter (4/5): Over priced for what it is. Needs plumbing maintenance. -
- Cathrine (7/5): Good -
- Kymberley (7/5): Good - Pet friendly which was good. Not far from town centre.
- Chris (5/5): Ok - Dog friendly Fuse tripped 9pm Sunday
Unable to reset
No power or heating
- Glenn (6/5): Nice place clean and close to town but couldn’t sleep so left one day early. No response from owners when I told them. - It was quite clean and although it was old it presented well, close to town The mattresses were really hard and old. Out of the two doubles one was like a rock and the other was so soft you both rolled into the middle, even the the single were hard.
- Shawn (8/5): Very good -
