• Ioana (9/5): I would return and stay here again. - Great facilities, it has a separate building, where we stayed, so you have to walk up to the main building (5min) to use the SPA and pool, there is a changing room that you can use. We had dinner which was amazing (but even though it was advertised as buffet it ended up being a menu charge). Having a drink at the cockteil bar wasn't the best experience, as we order the first drink and after more than an hour no one checked on us (wanted to order another round but the bar was unatended). I must say it was just before dinner and same person attended us at the dinner table. (so I guess short-staffed due to out of season).

• Karin (10/5): PERFEKTES HOTEL - Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen - sogar eine vegane Ecke. Der Ausblick vom Restaurant zum See war grandios. Schönes Schwimmbad - Sauna aus Zeitgründen nicht besucht. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal und alles sehr gepflegt. mit einem Wort: TOP

• Harald (10/5): Dem Paradies sehr nah. - Das besondere ist das familiäre Flair des Hotels. Man fühlt sich sofort zu Hause. Das große Schwimmbecken lädt zum schwimmen ein. Die traumhafte Lage bezaubert.

• Kirsten (10/5): Schöne Woche in St. Gilgen - Sehr schönes, geräumiges Zimmer Nr. 5. Trotz Nähe zur Bundesstraße keine Geräuschbelästigung. Auch nicht bei geöffnetem Fenster. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll renoviert und eingerichtet. Die Lage etwas abseits vom großen Hotel (von uns bewusst so gewählt) und trotzdem für den Gang zum Frühstück nah genug. Super WLAN, verschlüsselt. Top! Umfangreiches Frühstücksbuffet, sehr gut. Bequeme Betten. Gute Luft im Zimmer. Unschlagbar: die Aussicht vom Restaurant beim Frühstück. Schön angelegte Gartenanlage. Fitnessraum mit Tischtennisplatte. Ein wirklich schöner, erholsamer Urlaub. Danke! Ich hätte mir eine Dusche auf Poolebene gewünscht. Sie ist eine Etage tiefer als das Schwimmbad. Es gibt auch nur eine.

• Anna (9/5): Beautiful, luxurious stay in an amazing place! - Beautiful views, fantastic spa, friendly staff. Lovely place- good for outside activities and within reach of Salzburg. Expensive, but worth it. The halfboard was buffet style , but food was delicious.
• John Bennett (10/5): Very comfortable with amazing hospitality and great views of the lake and mountains - A very comfortable room in the old Landhouse just next to the main hotel. The main hotel dining room and terrace has amazing views of the lake and mountains, and the buffet breakfast had all the delicious classics. The hotel has an incredible swimming pool and sauna/spa complex within its garden for use by guests. It is 5 mins walk into town. Frau Hollweger is charming and exudes Austrian hospitality. The whole hotel is comfortable, peaceful and classy. Smokers should be given their own corner area of the outside terrace, rather than mingling with the other tables enjoying their meals.
• Tsuf (10/5): - The house had a comfortable parking space right up front, and within short walking distance to the main hotel. At the hotel we could enjoy the offered dinner at a time that fit into our daily schedule of traveling the area. This was especially good considering most of the local restaurants closed very early. The staff was wonderful and very helpful, especially Ronold that welcomed us. They also provided us with a daily transportation pass which we used to get to, and back from, Bad Ischl.

Dejlige faciliteter ved søen. Det var svært at finde et sted at spise omkring i byen, da der var mange turister og restauranterne ofte lukker køkkenet tidligt 20.30.

• Erhard (9/5): Sehr empfehlenswert - Wunderschönes Hotel mit Blick auf den Wolfgangsee. Inhabergeführt mit persönlicher Begrüßung durch die Chefin. Sehr freundliches und kompetentes Personal. Die Frühstücksräume waren sehr komfortabel und mit hochwertigen Möbeln ausgestattet. Gute Möglichkeit auf sich am Tage oder abends aufzuhalten. Traumhafte Gartenanlage mit Wellnessbereich, verschiedene Saunen, Schwimmbad.. Frühstück war sehr vielseitig Sonderwünsche nach Omelette möglich. Das Abend Buffet dürfte vielseitiger und auch mit mediterraner Küche sein. Es gibt viele Parkplätze, Unterstellmöglichkeit für eBikes und Lade Möglichkeit auch für Autos. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer war hochwertig mit Balkon und Sicht auf den See. Einzig die Lüfter im Bad und separaten Toilettenraum waren zu laut. Zusammenfassend ein Lob für die Familie, Hollweg und Personal für dieses wunderschöne Wellnesshotel Lauter Lüfter

The staff were almost all fantastic. Love the pool and spa area, it was well used during our stay. Grounds were beautifully kept Breakfast was plentiful. Have nothing negative to say

It is also just in front of bus stop going to Salzburg or BadIschl. And Supper market is just 100m away No tee/ Cofee in the room

A joyous trip guaranteed!! - I cannot speak highly enough of this hotel and it's wonderful staff!! we loved the location and our room was AMAZING! with a view of the lake and mountains. The facilities are top notch, and the breakfast divine; as a vegan I greatly appreciated the choice. Every evening we used the spa, which is wonderful, with so many rooms to choose from (sauna, steam etc.) and a delightful pool. The hotel is set in its own grounds that are peaceful and relaxing, with all the local shops and restraunts just a short walk away. The best thing really was how friendly and accomodating the staff were, which made it feel more like a wellness retreat! We are so thakful to all everyone at Hollwegers and we hope to visit again in the very near future! There was nothing we didn't like at all. This hotel far exceeded our expectations!

• Laura (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful hotel with wonderful facilities in a great position in St Gilgen. We loved having our breakfast on the terrace and the swimming pool and wellness area was lovely. Our room was comfortable and clean and we enjoyed the little lounge area with the facilities to make a drink. Staff on reception were so helpful with suggestions of the best things to visitl. The icing on the cake was the amazing private jetty by the lake a little walk away with a beautiful relaxation area and rowing boat! It's a shame the area doesn't have a better summer card but that's no fault of the hotel!
