- Hayden (9/5): Very comfy "homey" feel! Great spot with the pub a very short stroll away was a very nice bonus! -
- Trevor (9/5): - Quality property. Large rooms, good bathroom and kitchen.
- Paul (10/5): Relaxing and full of fun memories. - The property was absolutely gorgeous. The property was very well serviced and had every creature comfort. We were there in the cooler months and it was well equipped with a fire heater, ducted heating and electric blankets. The outside gardens were just beautiful with the spring bulbs just starting to bloom early. There was a fabulous pub across the road where you could get dinner and just beside it a bakery that sold a variety of breakfast and lunch options. It was a short drive to scenic Handoff and only a 35 min drive to the airport. I cannot fault our beautiful hosts and check in and out was so easy and convenient. I would absolutely recommend this venue to others. I am hard pressed to choose anything I didn’t like except that public transport options to the venue are limited. This did not pose a problem for us as we had our own transport so I would suggest hiring a car if travelling by plane.
- Kerr (10/5): - Lovely home for a getaway. We had a nice time and no complaints
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful place in a great location, the communication was absolutely fantastic.
Will definitely come back for another stay.
- Diane (9/5): Superb -
- Jonathan (9/5): Vintage Adelaide Hills! - Gorgeous historic property in an idyllic setting in the Adelaide Hills. Spotlessly clean and beautifully presented. Very comfortable. Proximity to Uraidla Pub which is one of the best in the area! Lack of shops for basic supplies in Uraidla (the so called 'convenience' store is poor). Traffic noise from road out the front
- Debera (9/5): Superb -
- Jessica (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful location, beautiful furniture, and good communication from the host. Overall a very comfortable stay. There was an option on booking.com to check in at 10am which I selected but this wasn't actually the case. The check in is actually actually at 3pm, however the hosts allowed me to check at midday which was very helpful. This just needs to be cleared up on booking.com. We were also given a late check out which was very much appreciated!
- Toni (9/5): Excellent stay - Great house with plenty of room, in perfect location across the road from a fabulous pub and bakery/cake. John was very responsive in his communication.
- Gillian (10/5): I'd highly recommend staying here. - Great location in a beautiful setting. Lovely, large, warm and quiet house. Mark, the host was very helpful Nothing - we had a great stay.
- Kirsten (10/5): Excellent location; better than the photos; exceptionally clean; will definitely stay again. - The location was incredible. So close to all the amazing things to do in the Adelaide Hills, and a quick drive from Adelaide. The house is across the road from a fantastic pub, with an incredible wine cellar, that has a delicious cafe/bakery attached to it for breakfast cravings. The heating was incredible and the heated blankets were much needed as we stayed in the middle of winter. Everything about the place was as it is advertised .... if not better.
- Daniel (9/5): Superb -
- Carolyn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emma (10/5): My family and I loved our stay! Such a beautiful, unique house which is very warm and inviting. Uraidla is a lovely spot - We loved the gorgeous, comfortable interiors.
- Gayle (9/5): Just wonderful attention to detail was terrific everything positioned beautifully - Breakfast was bread and spreads coffee tea
No provisions for cooked breakfast so we took our own & no juice No instant coffee or coffee machine
Although the bakery over the road made great coffee
I know it’s not everyone’s thing but I didn’t know how to use the plunger
- Laurence (9/5): Superb - Great character, well equipped
- James (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bradley (10/5): Exceptional - Location was amazing. The police station was faultless. Would definitely stay again Nothing
- Noelene (10/5): Perfect place for a couple of days stay - Absolutely everything! The property was absolutely beautiful.. the sour dough bread was delicious at breakfast time. Communication with the staff was great! There wasn’t anything not to like! It was perfect
- Jonathan (10/5): Delightful Adelaide Hills refuge... - A lovely old Adelaide Hills cottage, restored and very comfortable. Warm and inviting, with simple but stylish furniture and a wonderful antique book library. Spectacular views across Picadilly Valley to Mt Lofty.
The character-laden pub just opposite is wonderful for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a classy bakery that serves coffee and home made croissants from 7:30am, as well as amazing sourdough bread (some of which the owner leaves in the house). All perfect!
- Denise (8/5): Very good - Lovely old style accommodation with modern conveniences. Traffic noise on main road
- Catherine (8/5): Very good - Lovely old house with oodles of charm. Located in a beautiful part of the hills. Wine, chocolates , sour dough on arrival. Small negative,
no where to hang towels to dry, when cold and wet.
- Leonie (10/5): comfortable quite and so peaceful - Tue property is absolutely beautiful, so peaceful and garden is gorgeous could not fault the property
