• Tobias (10/5): Herzlich erholsamer Zwischenstopp auf dem Hochrhein Höhenweg (Wanderung) - Sehr herzlicher Empfang, wir durften 2h vor dem eigentlichen Check-In ins Zimmer. - Schickes helles Zimmer - sehr sauber - gute Lage Restaurant im Haus und auch hier, sehr freundliches Personal, guter Service und feines Essen.

• Edwin (8/5): Goede sfeer. Prima! - De sfeer! Op een afgelegen plek ligt het gedateerde maar op onderdelen ook vernieuwde hotel waar bijna alles op de vloer wiebelt of er is wel ergens een stukje af. De douche is eigenlijk te klein en de wifi wat traag maar wat is de schnitzel lekker en wat is de mevrouw aardig en behulpzaam. Maar bovenal is de ongedwongen sfeer erg prettig. Prima voor een nachtje op doorreis. Zie boven.

• Thomas (7/5): - Die Zimmer selbst waren in Ordnung. Alles war sauber, die Schließanlage mit Chip sehr vorteilhaft. Das Hotel selbst sieht von außen ein wenig heruntergekommen aus.

• Eyrun (10/5): Exceptional - It’s motorcycles friendly so there’s good parking for motorcycles. The parking is not 100% secure but it is a small area so I slept well with my bike there. There’s not much to do in the neighborhood but the hotel has fine restaurant so we had dinner there.

• Taliesin (10/5): Great value for money and lovely people - The rooms were clean and good size, the bath room as well was clean and a good size with a nice shower, drying rack and hair dryer. There is a good pub downstairs attached to the hotel that serves really tasty homemade German food (it was actually better than the restaurant we went to the day after). Beer is excellent, of course, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Peter, the owner, was a good laugh, spoke English well, and was happy to have a chat. The pillow was a bit thin

• Viktoria (9/5): Tipical rural building with a lovely bar along the street. Simple but functional room. - Easily accessable. Free car park. No problem even with the high new snow. Cosy bar, good beer.

• Des (10/5): Comfortable and pleasant stay. Would wholeheartedly recommend to everyone 👍👍👍 - Hospitality was friendly, welcoming. Patient and understanding with language barrier. Room spacious, clean and pleasant. Very hot weather so surprising to find a fan in the room to cool us. Good options for parking of bikes. Menu good and tasty, lots of help to get a good feed. A slight downside for some but not us though. There isn’t breakfast available at the hotel. Pointed by owner in direction of local bakery.

• Paul (8/5): Nice, Comfortable, Clean - Out of town so quiet, nice room size. The restaurant wasn't open on the day we went, and pretty much everything was closed in town. The beds are quite hard so found it hard to sleep. Also the shower was ok, but not very powerful.
• Garmt (9/5): Good place to stay in Schwarzwald - Cosy hotel. Cleanliness top notch. Good location in beautiful Schwarzwald with pretty villages, and close to Swiss border. Very friendly owner. Nice food in the Gaststube. A bit noisy with traffic on the road right in front of the room. But not all rooms face the road, and with the windows closed it was all right.
• Francois (10/5): Exceptional - 5 minutes by car from the Swiss border, the beautiful town of Laufenburg and a great area for shopping. Big parking space available for free. Everything was very clean and the host was welcoming.
• Graham (7/5): Good - Planned a quiet, chilled evening with food and enjoying the sun in the beer garden, but unfortunately, the restaurant and bar was closed on Mondays meaning we had to find an alternative restaurant but owner did give us a free beer each Room was clean, mesh on windows meant no bugs in the room Restaurant and bar closed on Monday

• Frank (7/5): As a stopover during our motorcycletrip a very good location, near the Swiss border but much cheaper - Very good breakfast, nice Biergarten, large parking, spacious clean renovated room. Friendly staff. No airconditioning, only a fan.
• Petar (10/5): Fab little place close to Basel and Zurich by car - It is superb, bizzarely close to Swotzeeland and still low key and originally German! Not certain there was anything. Maybe magazines in the uppee floor seating area?

• Karen (9/5): Lovely overnight stay - Lovely guesthouse. The staff were lovely and friendly. The room was spacious and clean and the beds were very comfortable. We ate here in the evening and the food was great and good value. The only thing was that the room was very hot. We knew there was no air conditioning,, but a fan would have been good.
