• Debra (6/5): They were not very welcoming - The pool There was no complimentary breakfast. No guest laundry. They were very militant about check in/out times. We waited in the lobby until 3 pm because they said no rooms were available for early check in. At 3 pm there were plenty of rooms all at once. Check out was 11 am. As we were leaving about 11:03am housekeeping was knocking at the door and the lobby was calling the room to make sure we had left.

• Gunny (3/5): Fairly disappointing especially for the cost. it felt like a rundown Super 8. Certainly not like - The room was very large but overall the entire hotel was rundown. Carpets in the hallways were dirty, the windows in the doors weren't cleaned, the walls were very scuffed. so many things. Horrible noisy location, we were woken up at 3am by loud laughter and kids running back and forth, lots of car noise. Soft beds, small lumpy pillows, lots of long black hair on the shower curtain. The secuirty guards placed throughout the hotel didnt instill any confidence in the hotel...what were they expecting to happen? It made us frightened for our safety! We wont be back!

• Carla (5/5): I won’t stay here again - I liked it location and connection to the airport and shops The front office staff weren’t very welcoming and called my room, accusing me of having too many people there. They also refused for me to have a late check out of noon without paying extra.

• Chad (7/5): Was a decent night's stay - Hotel rooms were large. Bathroom was small. Hallways were not update but room and lobby were nice. Pool was decent but hot tub was not working Halls were dated. Bathrooms were small. Restaurant didn't open until 8:00 and we had to leave before then.

• Victoria (7/5): Great stay for a business trip - Room was a really good size and comfortable. Didnt use any of the facilities, but the location was great. Lots of restaurants in the local vicinity and different varieties of food The water in the shower was so cold, the pool wasnt open when i went to look and it said it should have been- but maybe i misread the timings.
• Deirdre (6/5): Decent room but hotel and rooms needs alot of updating renovating. - The reception staff were friendly, efficient and polite. The room was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. Toiletries of decent quality were provided. The room was cleaned every day of my 3 night stay. Some fixtures of the bathroom were new, bathtub/shower and sink. TV screen decent size. Wifi easy to connect to. Communication about the booking was good. A call was received to inform that the pool was closed but I did not expect to use it. The hotel is very dated. The carpets are in need of replacing, the air condiditoning unit is quite noisey but works. There are major scuffs and dents throughout the room and hallways, elevators, bathroom door etc. The wall coverings both in and out of the room need to be replaced as they are very dark, scuff, scratched. The room had laminate floors which looked to be newer. The picture of the room (not bathroom) shown on website was accurate.

• Mike (8/5): close to shopping but still under construction. - usually always stay here when I am in the City. It's right on Portage across from Polo park and all the other shopping. Its improved over the years that's for sure. The two bartenders in the bar work their asses off had a pleasant time when I went down for a few drinks. not necessarily what I don't like but just a note that parking is terrible because of construction and pool was closed for construction. but that couldn't be helped.
• Steven (6/5): Pleasant - the room was fairly big and the bed was comfortable. The restaurant staff was great. The restaurant itself was sketchy af. It was a lounge and seemed like the neighborhood regulars hangout there for VLT's and early morning beers. I just wanted pancakes. lol

The rooms were very dated and not very clean. The air conditioner didn’t work properly. The parking area was quite dirty as well
