- Larissa (10/5): - Owned by a lovely German-Japanese couple, this house lies a little outside of the town centre in a quiet residential area. We stayed for four nights in a large room on the first floor with a private bath (including bath tub and a separate shower) as well as a nice sitting area and big windows from which you can see northern lights if you are really lucky (like we were).
The owners live in the same house, but private rooms are on a different floor. Everything is very clean and spacious.
You can have really good breakfast, e.g. including tasty bread (up to german standards), eggs, fresh fruits, and coffee. Always a great start into the day for us.
The owners are helpful if you have any questions regarding sightseeing (e.g., northern lights) and generally try to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
For us, this was not just a nice stay but downright a very positive experience.
- joe newman (10/5): wonderful suites well located for exploring Yucon - Bluejay Suites were truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the friendly and welcoming owners made us feel right at home. The property offered convenient parking, which was a huge plus, especially for travellers with a car. Our room was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully designed, with a well-equipped bathroom stocked with quality toiletries—perfect for a comfortable and hassle-free stay. The buffet breakfast was generous and delicious, offering a great start to the day with plenty of variety. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. nothing not to like

- Robert (10/5): A gem of a B & B - We stayed in the King room and loved the quiet, spacious, emaculately clean and comfortable room. Our hosts Reiko and Sascha were very welcoming and helpful with what to see and do and the breakfasts were made of fresh and tasty ingredients. We would highly recommend and would love to return the next time we are in Whitehorse. Nothing. Everything was perfect.
- Bennett (10/5): Great stay! Perfect hosts, quiet location, clean room! - We had the loveliest stay at Bluejay Suites B&B. The room had everything we needed - a queen bed, a small desk, TV, and a great bathroom. The real highlight though is Reiko and Sasha. They were wonderful hosts. Provided all the information you'd need to really enjoy your stay in the Yukon. They even gave us treats (donuts, cookies) for our Northern Lights viewing. The breakfast was thoughtful and filling and can be adjusted based on your preferences. They are the best! Highly recommend staying here.
- Tom (10/5): The owner could not do enough for us and accommodations were great. Highly recommend it - Nice neighborhood Nothing
- Nicole (10/5): - Excellent communication
Charming and helpful hosts
Substantial breakfast Everything was excellent
- marguerite (10/5): - We were overwhelmed from the moment we arrived in our car to the moment we left with our Hostess Reiko waving goodbye.
The house was immaculate, charming and beautifully decorated. It couldn't be cleaner! Our room was so comfortable and had every little thing we could possibly want. The bed was more comfortable than our bed at home, which we love! The towels were thick, fluffy and a total delight. We had a filling breakfast of eggs, cheese, ham, yogurt, fresh fruit, etc.
The location was good as it was outside of the downtown core but only a brief drive away, close to the 18 hole golf course and the Alaska highway. Very peaceful with great parking.
We felt so welcome and well taken care of by our hosts and will definitely return there on our next trip to Whitehorse.

- Werner (10/5): Das beste B&B , das ich jemals erlebt habe - Sehr nette Gastgeber, tolles Frühstück,
MAN FÜFLT SICH EINFACH WOHL.
- Philippe (10/5): Super. À recommander . - L’accueil par Reiko et Sacha, des personnes trés agréables.
La maison est magnifique et confortable.
Le petit déjeuner copieux avec des produits de qualités.
Une grande et belle chambre. Un peu éloigné de la ville.
- Mike (10/5): Exceptional Whitehorse Accomodation - Large room, very comfortable, great bed, excellent breakfast. The king size mattress was quite new and very comfortable. Great choice of pillows, all very clean and near new. The best I've ever had staying anywhere. Exceptional hosts. Very welcoming, warm and friendly. Great location, very quiet and open. Not far from town. Nothing. Every aspect exceeded expectations. I would never stay in town and will stay there again if we go back.
- Josephine (10/5): Clean, quiet and great breakfast - The breakfast was plentiful and varied. I chose the "anytime" option to have a hard-boiled egg, fresh mixed fruit bowl with yogurt, and plate of mixed cold meats and cheeses. Hot scrambled eggs were an option if you advised your desired breakfast time the prior evening. Fruit juice, coffee and tea were also available. The in-room air conditioner was a little noisy, but it was very effective, so with less than an hour of operation in the evening, the room was pleasantly cool for sleeping and it wasn't necessary to run the A/C all night.
It was simply wonderful, and you couldn't ask for better hosts. Friendly and courteous. The food was delicious and fresh. The location makes it easy to get to a wide variety of excursion destinations. There are also shopping facilities, or you can have something delivered. The location is quiet and it's about a 10-minute drive to the center. Buses and taxis are easy to use. The natural surroundings are breathtaking.
- Sönke (10/5): Perfect - Very warm welcome
- Lee (10/5): Exceptional - The care and attention to detail were exceptional in every way. From the welcome reception to the room and it's apointments, to the exceptional breakfast. The location was lovely, in a quiet area of the city, and the charm of the property was warm and homy. We had the largest of the rooms with the large sitting area.
- Lulu (10/5): Exceptional - The hosts were great, our room and common spaces were comfortable and immaculate. Breakfasts were generous and thoughtful. Would highly recommend staying here, quiet yet close to restaurants and minutes to the center of Whitehorse. Everything exceeded our expectations. Maybe a seating area outside would be nice.
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Barbara (10/5): would highly recommend this b&b - the hosts were amazing. the breakfast was great.
- William (10/5): A nice change from staying in a motel room - Very nice, spacious bedroom with superior bathroom & bathtub. Parking no problem. Breakfast was very nice : meats, cheeses, pastries, milk, coffee. Short drive from downtown Whitehorse and the airport. Nothing
- Barbara (10/5): It was as good as all the reviews. I would highly reccommend a stay there. - the hosts Reiko and Sasha were great, they were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast were great, with many options.
- Brandy (10/5): Quaint stay with fabulous hosts! A+ all the way - Owners are just the most attentive we’ve ever had. Room and facilities were beautifully maintained and super clean. I would recommend this place to absolutely everyone. Primary is a dear woman who you can tell loves doing this and welcomes everyone with open arms. Stay here! There was nothing to not love!
- Willie (10/5): Restful...Very comfoetable...Nice people host and other guest! - Wondwrful host Laclay and husband Sasha. Lovely atmosphere. Very nice filling breakfast w eggs to order. Wonderful huge room w GREAT DEEP TUB! 10 min drive to center but not bad. Definitely stay here 2/3 nites and relax.
- Julie (10/5): Wonderful hospitality - Reiko and Sascha are wonderful hosts. Their hospitality and attention to detail are outstanding. We hope to come again in the future. Nothing
- Julie (9/5): Bluejay fles high - Reiko and Sascha are wonderful hosts and provide amazing hospitality. We felt at home as soon as we walked through the door. Breakfast was a highlight as was the thought and care given to us. Wished we could have stayed longer. Nothing. Everything exceeded our expectations.
- Greg (10/5): Fun trip included dog sledding and viewing northern lights. - Host provided assorted fresh fruit, yogurt, muffins, croissants, and toast with butter and jellies.
Coffee, tea, and orange juice was also provided. Nothing we didn't like.
- Christophe (10/5): Paradise in Whitehorse - Fantastic suite, top quality bed, huge bathroom. Gigantic breakfast and on top of it, very friendly and attentive host. Nothing, all was perfect
- Perian (10/5): Best place to stay jn Whitehorse - Everything was great, the room, the location, the food, the hospitality, just everything was awesome. The hosts were exceptional. They gave us rides to town and the airport. She even made eggs Benedict, little cream puffs, and extras for us. If we visit that area again we will definitely stay there again. I cannot think of a thing. Stores and attractions closed early because of the holidays but not the B&B's fault.
- Meg (10/5): I have literally recommended this accommodation to every person i’ve spoken to about my holiday and i do the same for an - How do i begin, on top of this being an absolutely beautiful, well-cared for and well catered for B&B in an underestimatedly wonderful location, the hosts Reiko and Sascha are actually just amazing, good- hearted, genuine people that i feel lucky to have had the pleasure of meeting. Reiko especially [not to take anything away from Sascha - thanks for sharing your wine! 😋] made the whole environment seem like home. I felt cared for and cared about, which are 2 different things and quite meaningful to a solo traveller.
I woke up with a headache on the first morning [from sleeping on buses and planes the prior few nights] and mentioned this at breakfast. Not only did Reiko source some Tylenol for me in the interim, but she also came back from town later on with 2 new packets of tylenol, brought me warm chicken soup, juice, noodles and when i went to the kitchen later found extra canned soups with my name on them. When i went on a late night aurora watching tour Reiko dug out extra gloves, snowboots and a jacket for me, seeing that i was completely unprepared for -32 degrees [and she was 100% right!]
Everything here was perfect, super comfy bed, very well-appointed private ensuite bathroom, breakfast ready and waiting for me every morning, and delicious home made snacks always available. I added an extra 2 days to my stay last minute, and after everything i had wanted to pay more than the standard charge and they both refused to let me. i honestly can’t put in words what an amazing place this is to stay, for the amenities, the location, the service and importantly, the people I liked everything, there was nothing to not like!
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - Reiko and Sascha were great hosts and we really enjoyed our stay at this lovely little Inn. Great nature, great landscapes, great people, great memories.
Many greetings from Germany
- Scott (9/5): Superb - This is a beautiful and remarkable place that's combined with excellent service. It's a small thing, but guests don't wear shoes in the house to protect the hard wood floors.
- Rosanna (8/5): Host was very helpful and friendly. Went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable - Great!!
- Matt (10/5): This is a fantastic place to stay. I cannot imagine anyone being disappointed. - Breakfast was advertised as being continental, which we were fine with, however, the host insisted on cooking a regular breakfast for us. Plus, all the continental food was available as well. Totally exceeded our expectations in every way. We will stay here again without question. There is nothing to dislike. Everything was amazing.
- Ann (10/5): Great place to stay in Whitehorse . Highly recommended ! - Very welcoming and friendly host . Beautifully clean and extremely comfortable bed . Lovely breakfast. Nothing
- David (10/5): Fabulous stay on our first visit to the Yukon. Would definitely stay here again. - Lovely room in a beautiful building. Hosts were very gracious while also respecting your privacy.
- Michelle (10/5): Host and accommodations were both awesome - Quiet and very comfortable. I felt at home
- Jason (9/5): Amazing hostess who gave of her time to make us feel welcomed to the B&B and the community. - Historical home, well designed, easy to access.
- Sandy (9/5): Terrific hosts and lovely home. - Beautiful home, very good continental breakfast and our hostess made us scrambled eggs on our early morning departure. The hosts were wonderful- friendly and helpful. The home is outside the city so without a car not ideal. The hosts however drove us to town, gave us bus tickets and instructions for the bus. They went above and beyond to be helpful.
- Lorraine (7/5): Very pleasant - By car you could be downtown in 8mins. There’s a bus stop conveniently located nearby. The owners of the B&B were very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. We stayed in one of the smaller rooms and it was quite well appointed met all our needs. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good and Reiko was very accommodating to everyone’s likes and dislikes. Very nice place to stay.
- Lorraine (8/5): Very good -

Everything was amazing!
- Pamela (10/5): Very clean, well set up for a B&B and very sweet and welcoming host! - Very clean, easy to find property. Reiko made sure all her guests were well taken care of. She sent us to explore with umbrellas because there was a chance of rain, and packed us breakfast and a lunch on our last day as we headed out to Kluane very early to go hiking. So thoughtful!

- Danielle (10/5): A home away from home - We loved staying at Bluejay Suites! Reiko was an amazing host. She does everything to ensure that her guests have a wonderful stay in Whitehorse, from providing binoculars for the animal reserve to flip flops and towels for the nearby spa. She also took us to the most incredible spot for eagle watching. Guests have access to a spacious living room area and fully equipped kitchen. The house is spotless and the bed is very comfortable - after many days on the road up to Tuktoyatuk and back, we really appreciated our warm welcome into Reiko and Sascha's home. We will definitely stay with them again if we come back to Whitehorse!

- Heidi (9/5): Lovely home, warm and welcoming, great location and value - The owners were lovely people, very warm, provided a quiet and lovely place to stay while honeymooning There was a plumbing issue in our suite however the owners provided another bathroom and graciously treated us to dinner . They tried to repair it but the plumber was on a holiday and out of town.
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional - I loved the hospitality Nothing
- Sam (10/5): Beautiful B&B in a great neighbourhood with superstar hosts - Bluejay Suites is a beautiful B&B with warm and welcoming hosts. The rooms are wonderful with comfortable beds and gorgeous bathrooms. The communal space is large and tastefully decorated. I loved every moment I was there. Reiko and Sascha are wonderful people who were so kind and helpful. I highly recommend giving them a call before booking to chat about what's happening in Whitehorse during your stay. Nothing. I think this is the best place to stay in Whitehorse. Better than any hotel I've been to by far.
