• Philippe Aurèle (8/5): Le mystère de la chambre jaune - La maison propose plusieurs chambres dans un quartier résidentiel calme en bordure de lac, très proche (15 mn à pieds) du centre-ville. Le lit est très confortable et la douche agréable (petit bémol ci-dessus) et le logement globalement bien équipé. La chambre jaune dispose d'un véritable espace de travail. Les WC dans la douche (séparés par un simple rideau), c'est un peu spécial, mais adapté à la taille du logement. La décoration est spéciale, mais chacun est libre de l'apprécier à sa manière. Certains couverts étaient disponibles (fourchettes), d'autres étaient manquants (couteaux, cuillères).

I didn’t like the lack of privacy , even though we were supplied with codes and very straight forward direction on how to get to our room I still had a very abrupt knock on the door pretty late in the evening to verify my identity and making sure I was in the right room ? Pretty sure being colour coded rooms that there was only one pink room . Despite that it was quite clean and a reasonable price .

• Sarah (10/5): So cozy and comfortable! - I had a quick trip to Kelowna for a medical treatment. I booked this room last minute. The host briefly helped me to my room and was very pleasant to deal with. Great location for what I needed and it felt like a safe neighborhood. What made such a huge impression on me was my state upon entering (severe dental pain, stress, discomfort) and what the stay in that room did for me! My stress just melted away. I felt so safe and cozy and comfortable and was fully able to just relax and recharge. It felt like being in the warm inviting home of a loved one. Sometimes staying in a hotel room is great, but they feel more sterile and impersonal. This was like a hug that I didn't realize I needed lol. The bed and bedding were extremely comfortable for me.

• Dmytro (9/5): It was an excellent stay overall and I would love to come again. - Clean and neat rooms. They have nice concept and they decorated their rooms in aesthetic way. They paid attention to little details - there is extra beach stuff for anyone to take, they have great recommendations of places nearby. AC worked pretty well. It's a bit expensive, but that's the current market. AC made rooms a bit colder than it is comfortable.

Host provides great directions for access upon arrival and simple process. Space was clean and had everything I needed. Shower pressure was great and hot water always seemed to come so fast! Met the host and seemed like a very nice person. Nothing was of displeasure

• Terry (7/5): Adequate - Location The toilet was inside the small shower, so basically the shower was unusable unless we wanted to dry the floor and toilet down afterwards. Full disclosure needed on this point. There is a lot of stuff in the room to keep clean. The bed coverings, draperies, scatter rugs could be refreshed. If we were staying for more than a night, we would have been disappointed not to have a comfortable room outside of our room for relaxation.

• Meret (5/5): - The location is superb for Kelowna. The bathroom is separated by a thin plastic door that doesn’t reach the ceiling from the bedroom which can be a challenge.

• Dominique (7/5): Economical stay in beautiful, convenient neighbourhood. - Excellent neighbourhood, very proximate to the lake and downtown Kelowna. My quiet room was air conditioned and the onsite owner was friendly and helpful. The decor and bedding in the rooms was very dated and needs to be replaced. Unfortunately, my room was not as clean as I would have liked (dusty, streaks on door and walls). Also, at one point the power went out when all of the rooms were booked.

Neighbourhood was beautiful and cost was the best we could find in Kelowna The bed was terribly uncomfortable, had to check if it was a pull out couch, but it was just an old mattress.

Service was provided with a pleasant and friendly attitud - Close to the Kelowna General Hospital, and the staff was very very quick to respond to any concerns we had, including a very late check out on the last day. I always have trouble with coded door entries. Thank goodness there was someone available to help or I may not have been able to get in. The location was okay, except that there were few places to eat close by. The bed was a bit lumpy.

Room was cluttered, run down, 2 tv s that didn't work, rocking chair almost ready to collapse, crooked pictures and bathroom mirror, shoe string used for fan pull, closet full of storage, room lighting terrible, bed frame over sized for the mattress, matress hard cheap and uncomfortable, beding old, mini fridge didn't work, coffee machine area dirty, front entrance dirty, towels not hung up in the bathroom, room wasn't ready until 5:00, said no financial break for unready room, gave later check out that we didn’t use or need, yard a mess. General lack of care, maintenance, and management, no sound barrier between walls and floors, bad smell, uninviting, and uncomfortable.

• Rodica (6/5): Pleasant - Great location in quiet neighborhood close to the water. I feel it was overpriced for what I got. Dark rooms, with a potpourri of decor without a theme that didn't invite relaxation. I could hear the owner/caregiver TV through the walls quite clearly. I could hear the upstairs neighbors as well. It was very cold, likely because they needed to run the AC for the upstairs which would probably get hot. I had to sleep with two blankets, but they did have extra blankets. Generally it was clean, but the surface area next to the toaster was full of crumbs, and the sink had food bits in the drainage catcher. There was a vacuum robot left on the floor which started talking loudly just as I was falliing asleep. I placed it outside my room in the entry hallway of the house, and then it started talking again at 6:00 a.m., loudly. I would not stay there again.
