Egwin (9/5): Superb - Shenzhen is the city of electronics. this was very visible inside the hotel. A lot of buttons to switch on the lights, open the curtains... Very convenient! No need to book a breakfast, because a lot of small restaurants close the hotel. Moreover the HuaQiangBei are (mass of electronics shops) is very close to the hotel. English is a bit of a problem (not to me since I speak elementary Chinese), but the staff did all efforts to help foreigners to translate Chinese to English with an APP. Overall a good hotel with friendly staff. Next year I will stay again in this hotel.

Wah (8/5): Great Location and Spacious Room - The location is very good and near the MRT and bus station. There are restaurants nearby. Room is spacious and the staff are very friendly. They allow us early check-in and are very nice. The room is noisy because of the highway. They have provided ear plugs but I feel not so comfortable. If the hotel can upgrade to soundproof rooms then it would be perfect.

Friendly staff who were helpful at check-in, and waived the 200RMB deposit when I told them that, in keeping with modern China's cash-free norms, I had no yuan to hand. They were also friendly at departure, making me a coffee in the lobby while I waited for the taxi they had called. Slightly odd, fiddly lighting controls. Room was a bit impersonal in feel. A small issue getting them - note that taxi drivers won't recognise the English name of the hotel, so it's good to have the name in Chinese characters to hand.

Quychon (9/5): Clean, excellent standards and excellent service from all staff. - Location was good, close to HuaQiang Bei. Rooms were very clean and to a high standard. Service levels from staff was top. Would stay again in future for sure. Breakfast offering wasn't brilliant but unsurprising given the amount of excellent local offerings on the hotels doorstep which is hard to match.
