Guest Reviews
- Judy (8/5): A comfortable , well appointed unit. - location was great opposite Clarke's Beach. Parking was great.
Unit was very well equipped with everything we needed in kitchen and laundry.
No air conditioning may be an issue in summer Not much. No air con for summer.
- Craig (10/5): -
- Maylis (8/5): Perfect location for a short stay, close to shops, restaurants and all the beaches. - Very convenient location, beach front Nothing
- Glenn (8/5): Beautiful apartment in a stunning location - Such an amazing location. Not only the address but the apartment to the door to the road to the beach! Great comfortable feeling throughout
- Maeli (7/5): -
- Guillermina (5/5): Very average. - The location The view in the photos are actually covered by palm trees, the beds weren’t that comfortable, had issues with blockage with the master bedroom sink, showers were hard to get in and out of and as soon as you open the tap in the shower the water goes everywhere.
My mum couldn’t sleep on of the rooms so she pulled out on the single beds to sleep on and said it was probably one of the worst sleeps of her life.
Overall location is great, but I think it’s overpriced for what you get.
Staff were responsive at least.
- Micah (6/5): could’ve been better, could’ve been worse. - Great location. Wasn’t very clean, run out of dish and laundry detergent, tv was small, no aircon only fans.
- Wayne (9/5): - A little bit of maintenance needed with toilets. Toilet seat in main bedroom loose and main toilet float issues. Not a big issue just letting you know
- Tracy (9/5): -
- Sylvia (6/5): -
- Catherine (10/5): - Great location and very central to beach and town
- Bella (8/5): -
- Sally (10/5): -
- Steve (9/5): Loved Byron Bay and the surrounding locale. - Great location close to beach, a short walk into town. Guaranteed parking space.
- Johahn (8/5): - Great location being literal steps from the beach, minutes walk from town and few minutes drive from the lighthouse, and the on-site parking made it even more convenient. Guest bedroom single beds were a bit poor quality; made do for the few nights but could be comfier.
- Adrienne (8/5): A beautiful apartment in a great area, would stay here again - The property was in a great location, very spacious and was beautifully decorated. The hosts included information about the local area and recommended places to eat. There was no air con in the property only ceiling fans so it got a bit warm
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Rodney (7/5): Good - No air conditioning
- Renate (8/5): We enjoyed our stay and will be booking again for next years holiday. - We stayed for three nights, in a two bedroom apartment. Location was great, across from Clark's Beach and walking distance to Restaurants/Shops. The apartment did not have air conditioning but did have ceiling fans. We were lucky that the weather was not too hot and the fans were sufficient for our stay.
- Michaela (9/5): perfect location close to the beach and close to Byron Bay Center - I liked the location, we just had to cross the road and were already at the beach. All of Byron Bay's beaches are stunning, the water was crystal clear and had the perfect temperature. Center of Byron Bay was close, in walking distance. There was nothing we disliked. The only thing I have to mention is that the building and the apartment are a bit dated. The bedroom fan didn't work but that was fixed immediately after contacting the host.
- Rosemary (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tullie (3/5): Like instagram - filters and self-promotion are far from the reality. Disappointing & dissatisfied. - The location was as advertised. Close to the center of town and across from Main beach Byron Bay. The parking space was a great bonus as parking out on the street required paid parking.
The key lockbox was located outside the apartment door and the garage key was left available to us on the kitchen bench and the apartment instructions were left in a wooden book on the coffee table.
There was a plentitude of beach towels but not enough bathroom towels and they offered mini 'hotel sized' soap bars as well as a few little body lotions, shampoos and conditioners.
We chose this location based on the photos and the amenities listed and the initial response time from the staff (which later on became non-existent.)
The layout was spacious (but very dated) and the photos that were used to showcase the property were great but they are definitely a sales pitch of a clean and luxurious property - which they were not.
*Note that this 3rd floor walk-up may not be good for the elderly or the disabled who are limited to a wheelchair. Management: "Well that's what you get for a budget apartment."
We hoped for a great stay but the accommodations were uncomfortable.
General:
The front door key also opened the apartment door which was concerning so we called the office & they said that it was a master key
Sand was all over the apartment, it's across from the beach, but it should have been cleaned well enough that there wasn't sand in the sheets.
There was no air conditioning which I understood, however the ceiling fans provided no relief from the heat during the day or night (when it usually cools down) - I would expect the property to add air-con to this property for their prices
Living Room: TV didn't have any free-to-air TV or any apps. Hung haphazardly on the wall
Sandy living space and again, lack of heat relief options.
Bedroom: weird water leaking under the floorboards
Apartment safe wasn't working/which wasn't great considering the front door key also opened the main front door.
Kitchen: Some pans unusable & had no "non-stick" left on them (burned off). Kitchen coffee was so old in some packets that is had solidified (photo). Fridge door didn't close!
Bathrooms: Lock on door to room with bathtub shower locks you in involuntarily and locked my mother in on numerous occasions - this could be traumatic for a child or someone without patience to work the lock to open again)
Lack of condiments: we were left with a half bottle of oil and half bottle of ketchup. No salt or pepper - absolutely nothing for cooking.
Pegs for laundry were rusty and dirty.
The fans and lamps were dusty.
The pool we never used, but looked nice.
When we called management on the day we arrived about the safe and the locks they said they would come over the next morning to fix it and yet never arrived and didn't call.
- Claire (8/5): Very relaxing, great for family, affordable - Proximity to the beach
Great pool for kids
Balcony overlooking ocean There are snakes about, all over NSW, and we saw 2 on the property (tree snake and carpet python so not harmful), the building manager sent a snake catching and organised vegetation to be cut back, so that was easily fixed.
- Ann-mary (8/5): Location, Beach and a quiet spot in town - great location, across the road from the beach, easy walk to everything, undercover safe parking and fully equipped for a family stay. Getting keys easy and quiet sleep at night The bathroom doors are a bit older and they stick and lip from tiles into lounge got me a couple of times and I kicked my foot
- Norris (8/5): Very good -
- Lorraine (10/5): Fantastic! - Great liveable space and a fantastic location. I loved being close enough to walk to shops, restaurants etc, but far enough away that it wasn't noisy.
Only a short walk across the road to the beach and also has easy access to the walking track up to the lighthouse. There is nothing that I didn't like about this place.
- Emma (4/5): Disappointing -
- J (9/5): Superb -
- Marilyn (9/5): Superb -
- Shane (7/5): Good -
- Tony (5/5): Passable - Bedroom two was really small couldn’t even put our suitcases in the room
- Jodie (7/5): Great location. - Location great. Very easy to walk to town or beach. Loved the veranda to sit and relax. Wasn’t as clean as I would have hoped. Lots of dust in curtains, sand on the dining room table seats and verandah wasn’t very clean. Bedrooms were fine although it was a cold week so we needed extra blankets which weren’t supplied.
- Akshay (8/5): Comfortable stay at a beautiful and convenient location. - Cleanliness and Location of the property was excellent. Checkin and check out was very smooth and easy. Kitchen, utensils, Sofas, TV, lights, heaters were very well maintained . Towels and toileteries were generously provided for family of four. The small bathroom sink was not working very well, it had a drainage problem and water was going through very slowly.
- Chris (1/5): Bad -
- Luke (9/5): Superb - unbelievable location, walk everywhere, across from the beach, easy stroll into town, comfy and well furnished. hot water!
- Anne (9/5): Superb -
- Zoe (9/5): Perfect spot to stay! - Perfect location. Beach front! Close to town centre, only 10 min walk. Nice to see the beach from the balcony.
- Barry (8/5): Very good -
