• Yolanda (6/5): - Staff was very friendly and ready to help. A piece of my laundry was damaged in the dryer and they eventually decided not to charge me for the laundry. The room was very clean and finding the property was easy with Google Maps. There's a fruit stand right across the street so that was great. I was there in slow season, so parking was no problem. I had booked a deluxe room, but it had no windows to the outside, none. The bathroom didn't either. So it felt very disconnected from everything. I couldn't tell what the weather was outside, but most importantly, I couldn't get any fresh air, which is a health hazard. (We all know that airconditioners don't bring in fresh air, they only circulate the existing air.) The (loud) music from the pool bar could be heard the whole day from the room. And when the pool bar finally closed the sound was replaced by the social media videos from someone at reception.

• Natasja (7/5): A nice stay a bit outside of San Ignacio center - The room was spacious, the beds comfortable and the TV, AC and fridge working as it should! The pool and restaurant were nice to have the opportunity to use, the food there was good and worth a visit. The waiter/bartender was so kind and helpful with the service as well as our questions for the area. The owner let us stay in the room a bit longer on check-out day which was helpful for us to get our laundry done thanks to the cleaning lady. Overall a good stay! The distance to the city is a 20 min. walk, which is manageable tho keep that in mind. The shower pressure was not that great. You can more or less hear everything in the building, as well as the noise from the pool during the evening. We were a bit annoyed by how long people sat in the bar, hearing music and talking loud.

• Martha (5/5): Passable - The room was very clean and there’s a pool and restaurant on site. Bed wasn’t comfortable and did not have a comforter or blanket (though you may receive one upon request). Also, showering was cold. The shower head has a make-shift water heater that barely heats the water.

• David (8/5): Jungle Oasis - The restaurant and pool were awesome. The employees did their best to accommodate request and treated us like honored guest. The room was average. They didn't provide blankets. It was a bargin hotel so what the room was lacking, the hotel and pool definitely made up for.

• Mariam (9/5): Worthwhile stay - Staff was absolutely attentive and always willing to help. Rooms were clean and the location was nice and quiet, while still walking distance to cool sights, town (during the day), etc. Pool and restaurant area were welcoming and fun. The amenities/dispensers (handsoap, bodywash, shampoo, conditioners) were also nice. Hot water is adjustable and ample, and even with an on/off switch. :) Good ventilation and A/C options. I missed a shelf/closet/somewhere to put my clothes (other than the floor). Belize always comes with a little wildlife ;) ...so a few hangers/shelves would've been helpful. Our room location also put us at an intersection for hallway noise, which I don't particularly mind, but my partner is quite sensitive to. No cups/fridge/personal coffee/tea option and while many things were, this wasn't always readily available at the restaurant (though that could be time bound as well as due to the particular moment we visited ;)).
