• Carla (4/5): Schöne Lage - Wohnung / Vermieter ist enttäuschend - Leider einiges. Die Darstellung/Beschreibung der Wohnung bei der Buchung entspricht nicht den Tatsachen. Es gibt zwei Zimmer (Schlafzimmer mit Duschbad, Wohn-/Esszimmer) die über ein Treppenhaus getrennt sind. Der ausgelegte Teppich im Treppenhaus war sehr dreckig. Die Küchenausstattung ist für einen längeren Aufenthalt enttäuschend, da wenig Equipment vorhanden ist. (Ein Geschirrtuch wurde erst auf mehrfache Nachfrage zur Verfügung gestellt, kein Wäscheständer, etc) WLAN war ein Totalausfall und es wurde sich scheinbar um keine Lösung gekümmert. Die Kommunikation und Reaktion mit dem Besitzer war eine Katastrophe. Die Klingelanlage ist auch im Apartment angeschlossen, was sehr störend/irritierend war, da häufig geklingelt wurde. Check-In: Hat uns 45 Minuten warten lassen, obwohl wir unsere Ankunftszeit mehrfach präzisiert hatten.
• Gruft (9/5): Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. I was so impressed with the quality of the space at such an af - Great location, beautiful space, comfortable bed. Great amenities. Overall really nice space to stay in. Place was very clean and well kept. Felt safe and cozy. Super welcoming host as well. I have very little complaints about this place. But I would say the Wifi doesn’t really work very well. Especially next door where the TV is. It’s pretty hit or miss. The other thing is that the building is very echoey so you can hear lots and people can probably hear you as well. But it wasn’t an issue at all. Just something to keep in mind if booking.

• Eddy (9/5): Leuk en schoon appartement met goed uitzicht, in een rustige straat en een goede locatie. - Mooi gebouw met ruim en schoon appartement op een uitstekende locatie. Heel netjes!! Zal dit zo weer booken bij een volgende overnachting in Antwerpen. Aanrader. Genoeg spullen in keuken. Goede, grote koelkast en een grote televisie aan de wand. Goede, neerklapbare slaapbank. Rustig appartement. Deur naar appartement kon niet op slot. Zag dit al in eerdere review. Eenvoudig op te lossen. Had al gedaan kunnen zijn. Slaapkamer en woonkamer zijn van elkaar gescheiden door openbaar trappenhuis, maar appartement ligt wel alleen op bovenste verdieping. Maar als personen die in woonkamer slapen op slaapbank naar de WC moeten, dan moet dat via de overloop van het trappenhuis en de slaapkamer.

• Amelie (7/5): Schönes Apartment mit guter Lage, Host etwas chaotisch und nicht erreichbar - Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber. Die Lage war perfekt, da man das Zentrum fußläufig oder über eine sehr gute Anbindung mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln schnell erreichen konnte. Die Wohnung war mit der Küche relativ gut ausgestattet, die nötigsten Sachen waren alle vorhanden. Der Host hat einen netten Eindruck gemacht. Wir haben ein langes Wochenende im Frühling hier verbracht, dass leider noch sehr kalt war (2-10°C). Trotz der niedrigen Außentemperaturen hat die Heizung oft nicht geheizt bzw. nur zwischen 19 und 24? Uhr. Morgens und am frühen Abend war es dementsprechend sehr kalt, sodass wir gefroren haben. Der Host sagte, die Heizung würde bei Raumtemperaturen unter 18 Grad anspringen, was unserer Meinung nach nicht erfüllt wurde. Es gab auch kein Thermometer in unserem Raum, daher können wir nicht sagen, in welchem Raum des Gebäudes diese 18-20 Grad gewesen sein sollen. Wir haben den Check-In für 15-16 Uhr vereinbart, leider kam der Host erst um 17:15 Uhr, sodass wir uns noch mit dem Gepäck die Zeit vertreiben mussten. Außerdem fehlten uns noch Handtücher und Klopapier, auf die wir bis ca 18:30 Uhr warten mussten, weshalb wir dann auch in der Unterkunft festsaßen, bis er mit allem wiederkam. 24 h vor dem Check-Out fragten wir bei ihm nach, wie der Check-Out ablaufen wird, er hat uns nicht mehr geantwortet. Am letzten Tag (16 Uhr) trafen wir außerdem Gäste vor dem Haus, die auch ein Apartment dort gebucht hatten, sie konnten ihn nicht erreichen. Leider hatten wir auch keine Telefonnummer von ihm, sodass die beiden wieder gehen mussten und sich wahrscheinlich eine andere Unterkunft nehmen mussten. Außerdem sind Schlafzimmer/Bad und Küche/Wohnzimmer durch den Flur im Treppenhaus getrennt, sodass es quasi keine Wohnung sondern mehr separate Räume sind, was uns auch nicht bewusst war.

• Korte-Eickel (8/5): Gut gelegenes Apartment. - Freundlicher Vermieter. Großer Wohn- und Küchenbereich. 3 Tage lang keine Rückmeldung auf die Anfrage zur Ankunftszeit; das Zimmer war nicht fertig und wir mussten 90 Minuten warten. Das Haus ist recht hellhörig.

• Klaudia (7/5): Nice appartment on the top floor - The building and the rooms have an interesting interior design. The location is great - easy to walk or catch the public transport whereever you want to go to. Cheap parking is around 10mins away, which is also convenient. The view from the living room was stunning. Coffee and tea was also provided. The bathroom only has automatic light, which might switch off during your shower. Additionally, it's very harsh and in the evening (especially if the other person is sleeping, I wouldn't want to use it). There was a lot of noise at night. Literally every hour there was some door slamming and I'm not sure if there's other guests that were doing that or the owner was just night active. There were 2 very basic standing fans, but it was a hot weekend, and they didn't help at all. Because of the mosquitos and the noise I couldn't leave the door open and that can be easily fixed with some better fans.

• Wendie (3/5): Cold water - No heat - No toilet paper & basic equipment - the apartment was impeccably clean and had a lovely view of the church & we had a good welcome There were no basic toiletries (no shampoo, barely any toilet paper), no kitchen sponge or dish soap initially, and very limited kitchen equipment—no proper knives, cutting board, or oven dish. A strong sink odor persisted throughout our stay. The shower light had a timer, turning off mid-shower, and the cushions were quite hard. The rolling shutters were impractical, making it difficult to open the window, and the living room/kitchen area couldn’t be locked. The biggest issue was that we had no hot water on the second day. We couldn’t reach the host, and even Booking.com couldn’t find a solution. The following day, still no news from them. However, they did enter our living room without informing us—just to drop off dish soap after we complained through Booking. No message, no apology—very unprofessional.

The house, as well as the apartment itself, is tastefully decorated. The fixtures and fittings in the shower room are of the highest quality: all Hans Grohe; and they are in excellent taste. The kitchenette has everything one would need for a brief stay; there is even a washer-dryer. The bedroom is decorated in colours that promote a feeling of peace and harmony. The bed and the mattress are very comfortable, and you will get a sound night’s sleep. The whole place is extremely clean. Clearly much effort is expended to afford the guest a feeling of comfort, security and tranquility. I felt very much at home and at ease there. And I’m confident that you shall as well!
• Diego (10/5): A lovely place! - We were a group of four friends. The apartment is really pretty, peaceful and comfortable. The beds and the mattresses are of excellent quality and we all slept really well. The apartment and the house are both very clean. The house is truly beautiful. The host is charming, kind and always ready to help.
• Outsidein (4/5): Things to consider when with 2+ people - Location, clean, spacious,, quiet (but see negative) You pay quite a bit extra for a third person (we were with 3) as of November 2024: 125 (1p) -138 (2p) -167 (3p) -180 (4p). However, the property can be quite unsuitable for more than two people: - The bed in the living room is really very bad (the green couch shown in the picture). The bed isn't even, you are lying in a sot of V. Not as extreme as a V, but definitely not even. - The living room cannot be locked. We did not mind, but perhaps you like to be able to lock the door when sleeping in a house with four floors and several people living in it. - Let's suppose the person or persons in the living room want to go to the bathroom during the night. Then first you must pass through the hallway, as the two rooms are not directly connected but rather separated by a hallway. A sensor switches on bright lights illuminating the hallway. - Then you must enter the bedroom where your friends or family are sleeping as you can only enter the bathroom from within their room. Once you open the bathroom door and enter the bathroom bright light switches on automatically, as well as a loud air circulation system. I guess by that time your friends or family are awake too. They have to wait untill light and ventilator switch off. Overall, I was not impressed by this "Artist Gallery” - a pretentious title. You will rent two conventionally decorated rooms with some framed photo's on the wall. I don't give a negative score easily - I checked and out of 108 reviews by far the most received "10" and only one a "5.6".
• Akash (10/5): Amazing property with the most wonderful host! Very worth it! - The host was absolutely amazing - one, if not, the best host I’ve ever had. He cares about his guests and wants those staying to have a wonderful time. The area was good but a bit far from BRU. Next time, I may want to explore more centrally located areas.

• Marga (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment is on the top floor of a beautiful large townhouse with a spacious stairwell and chic entrance. There is a spacious separate living room/kitchen and a comfortable bedroom with a large bed, sleeps very nicely and quietly. The bathroom is also spacious and very clean, the shower is nice with multiple settings. The host is very neat and polite and makes you feel at home. The location is perfect in the beautiful lively South, on the corner is a nice breakfast/lunch spot and plenty of shops and museums within walking distance.

The rooms are nice and clean and there are some antique parts of this property that have been handled extremely well over the years. It gives the location an extra bit of story and oomph!
