Guest Reviews
- Elia (10/5): - Tutta la casa, il proprietario gentilissimo e disponibilissimo tutto perfetto L'unica pecca sono state le scale senza ascensore ma ce la siamo cavata benissimo lo stesso
- Jeanette (2/5): Good location but the apartment facilities did not live up to expectations - Location was really good. We rented this apartment based on its location and positive ratings (??!) and reviews (??!), so we were completely astonished and shocked by the poor condition, which led us to move to a hotel after two nights, primarily due to the visible signs of mold on many surfaces throughout the apartment. This poses a health hazard, especially for people with allergies, asthma, or immune deficiencies.
The kitchen table tiles had numerous worn-out and deep grout lines, making it very difficult to keep clean. One of the kitchen cabinet doors fell off when we tried to open it. There were large cracks in the front door, and the walls had many stains with puss peeling off. Dirt had accumulated in layers, e.g. on the pictures hanging on the walls, the kitchen cupboards, and the radiators. The coffee cups we used felt sticky.
In the kitchen and living room, various cords were scattered across the floor and had to be pulled to turn the lights on. The bed linen was far too large for the duvet, causing it to bunch up awkwardly. The bedroom itself appeared shabby and uninviting, with an uncomfortable bed where the springs were clearly felt through the mattress. We were warned not to touch the balcony railing, as it was loose and could fall if handled. Out of concern for safety, we avoided stepping onto the small balcony, fearing the entire structure might be unsafe.
In the bathroom, the wall-mounted shower holder was loose and on the verge of falling off. We never had the courage to lift the rubber mat at the bottom of the bathtub.
Despite the apartment's many issues, no refund/compensation of any kind was offered.
- Enright (10/5): yeah, pretty good - it was very cozy and its position was fantastic for travelling nothing really
- Miguel (8/5): Very good - Imprescindible Aire Acondicionado en verano. Tv por cable Tv en el dormitorio
- Cristinaprohaska (10/5): Walking distance to Vatican, perfect food available at good prices, best host. - Excellent location, central, silent and we were offered sparkling clean linen and towels. Perfect host, extremely responsive and helpful; has provided us best recommendation for food & restaurants.
- Caitríona (9/5): Lovely experience, perfect location and great communication with the host - Friendly host, perfect facilities and great location No extra blankets around and I was a little chilly in the night but only a minor thing
- Nitzan (9/5): Superb -
- Jack (9/5): Wish we stayed longer. - Location, beautiful apartment. clean and the facilities were well kept. very rustic aesthetic for the youthful and vibrant Trastevere.
Alessio recommended eateries and restaurants from his childhood. Definitely ask because they’re worth going to. Kitchen was a little under-run, but it hardly mattered as there were lots of utensils and other goods provided.
- Emiliyan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Celia (8/5): Very good -
