However, due to the hotel's location and age, you might encounter insects in the bathroom. The shower is one step above, but it leaks water from under the glass. The furniture is old. • Javante (3/5): - the location was in a spot that was close to bars/clubs which was nice and there was also plenty of place nearby to go eat Unfortunately, our experience did not meet the expectations we had based on the information and photos presented online. From the moment we arrived, we did not feel particularly welcomed. The individual at the front desk appeared dismissive and unaccommodating, which made the check-in process uncomfortable. As guests, we value a courteous and professional reception, and this initial interaction set a disappointing tone for our stay. Upon entering our room, we were further concerned to find that it did not match the condition or appearance as advertised. The room had a noticeable odor that made it unpleasant, and the overall cleanliness was below what we would reasonably expect, especially considering the rate we paid. Certain areas appeared insufficiently cleaned, which raised concerns about general upkeep and attention to detail. We chose your property based on its advertised standards and reputation, and we were disappointed that our experience did not reflect those expectations. We hope you will take this feedback seriously and address these issues to ensure future guests do not encounter similar problems.

• Marisa (9/5): Best place right downtown! - This hotel is amazing! Best location ever, nice big room, AC worked well, super friendly staff, hot water in the shower (sometimes hotter than other times), and a parking spot out front for our motorcycle. There is an elevator, the wifi was fast, and there are even bell boys ready to help with your luggage. Right next door was a club with loud live music on Thursday and Friday nights (Tuesday and Wednesday nothing, and I don't know about the other nights), BUT they stop exactly at 10:00pm. So that's awesome!

The staff is kind, and the desk is staffed even late at night. I will, for sure, stay here again in the future. The bathroom could be cleaner, but overall, it was okay.

Vietnam Pho- Michelin starred is just a walking distance as well as the best Bahn mi in Ho cHi Mihn. Staff showed kindness, accommodating especially Mya. No breakfast.

• Gu (8/5): Good location, old facility, but cost-effective for solo traveller - Although the room is correctly equipped with all described during the booking, actual facility appears to be old. The photo in this app thus appears to be the beautification of where I will actually stay. However, the room facility does the job well to be cost-effective for solo traveller. Although I enjoyed the location, you better seek a more expensive, cleaner and modern hotel when you travel with someone.
• Jason (8/5): Great staff running a well-located, tidy hotel in need of (very) minor updating. - Second stay here, first was at start of the holiday, this was prior to going home. Located in District 1, a number of points of interest within walking distance. Rooms economically sized, big enough but no bigger, clean but plain and functional. Decent bathroom, comfy bed. TV and fridge (2 bottles of water a day provided) were welcome features. Staff very nice indeed, both behind the desk and the porters. I requested a quiet room for this stay as the one I had at the start of my trip (603) had a non-closing window which let a lot of traffic noise in. On this occasion my room had no window, which whilst meaning no natural light did have the advantage of being very much quieter. Aircon units dated and a bit noisy. The one in the first room I was given (403) on this occasion didn't work, but to the staff's credit I was instantly moved to an alternative room where the unit worked but was a bit squeaky. which can be an issue if you want to sleep in a comfortable temperature. The staff here are, as I say, very nice and very professional and treat guests well. The people make the place, and with great staff like these the little improvements needed are easily achievable. I think with a bit of updating (aircon and window closing) and maybe some simple decoration in the form of a little Vietnamese (perhaps) artwork on one wall of each room, this hotel could score highly.

This is the second times to stay at Gold hotel in the month, Wow this hotel exceeded my expectations! just a ‘local’ hotel really but the staff is so friendly, warmly. The room is quiet to sleep well, the location hotel in the center city just few foot by walking to Market.
• Tumbrink (6/5): Pleasant - The only golden thing about this hotel for me was the staff. Super friendly and caring people! Also I really liked the location. The room I booked mentioned to have a ‘view’. To sum it up I stayed in three different rooms - non of which had a view. First one was mouldy with no window; second one no mould, no window; third one had a window going out to a ventilation shaft. No fresh air available in any of those rooms. In addition you can hear everything happening outside of the room in the hallway. I had two nights of very bad sleep.
• Amit (6/5): It was nice hotel... - The hotel staff is lovely. Excellent location. Reception works 24/7 During my stay, there was no hot water in the hotel. It was not possible to shower. The hotel room is not at the level I expected. There is a strange window with a wall behind it. On top of that, next to the door there is a transparent window covered with colored nylon, which disturbs sleep during the night due to the light that penetrates from the corridor into the room. I checked in early due to arriving earlier than expected and the hotel asked me to pay half the price for one night in addition to the usual night payment. After the "hot water incident" I asked the hotel manager to consider the situation and refund me the money for the early check-in. She refused but agreed to pay for a taxi to the airport.
