La habitación tiene todo lo necesario para relajarse, cocinar de todo sin problemas (cocina MUY completa). Parking para estacionar. El personal es muy amable! Es la segunda vez que me hospedo acá y volvería mil veces más. No tengo quejas.

• Andres sanchez (9/5): Great accommodation if you are looking for stunning views - The views were stunning: taking a nap watching the sunset over the ocean in a hammock is priceless. The staff were super kind and helpful, they showed us how to feed the monkeys with fruits, which was incredible, and they were always available and willing to help making our stay 10 out of 10. The balcony with the hammock, fan and table is perfect for breakfast or dinner with sunset over the ocean views The room size. It's quite small and not well equipped if you are looking for more independent stay (cooking was a challenge cause the kitchen is tiny and all the equipment is packed, if would have been much easier if there was a shelf in order to leave the mini kitchen available for cooking).

• Gemma (8/5): Great stay! - Amazing location if you want to spot the wildlife. We saw so much! Monkeys, sloths, lizards and birds. The balcony is great for a sunset watch. Close to some lovely restaurants. Close to national park and beach. Little things like salt and pepper would be very handy! The nearest shop is quite a climb up the hill, obviously not at fault of the property but just a warning to anyone if you struggle with steep hills.

They care about everything: clients, rooms, plants and animals around! You can feel the care for customers in everything. A lot of animals around: monkeys, agouties, sloths! One rainy evening we have found a sloth on our patio. The staff helped us bring him back to nature! The presence of a pool also turned out to be a huge plus!
• John (7/5): Had to be one of the best views in Manuel Antonio. - We were in Room 9 which had a large, beautiful patio overlooking the sea. The property was in hillside in the jungle. Saw many animals! Especially liked the Monkeys. Property was easy walking distance to several excellent restaurants. Also just a 20 minute walk to the beach. The property itself had no restaurant or bar. The pool didn't have enough lounges for the guests. No food or drinks are allowed in the pool area. Aside from the patio, room 9 was very basic - more what you would expect in a hostel. There was a kitchen, but you had to go outside and enter it through a different door. Lots of ants in the kitchen, even though we never left food out. Kitchen appliances were minimal

Great nature spots including their resident sloth! Walk to beach is down steep road with busy cars but is a short walk and you can always drive if concerned (free parking).

Nettes Personal- Danke William! Es wäre schön gewesen wenn in der Küche ein Kochfeld gewesen wäre und vielleicht auch Töpfe. Es steht nur eine Elektrische Pfanne zur verfügung.

Great location, surrounded by everything what's needed - shops, restaurants, close to Manuel Antonio Park, and the Espadilla beach. Absolute winner was the ocean views from the balcony and sunsets! Also, accidentally we forgot at the property one of the earplugs and they organised bringing it back to us to San Jose which was massive help and extra-step which we really appreciated! <3 There is not much to say here. There was some street noise but it's understandable as property is close to the main street. It was quiet during night time.

• Joachim (8/5): Tolle Aussicht, gute Lage, aber ob einfacher Ausstattung zu teuer - Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Verwalter. Tolle Aussicht von der Veranda unserer Apartments. Gut 10 Minuten Fußweg zum Strand (relativ steil bergab), zurück haben wir meist den öffentlichen Bus genommen. Relativ einfache und etwas in die Jahre gekommene Ausstattung bei dafür zu hohem Preis. WLAN brach immer wieder ab.

L'emplacement par eapport au parc et au restaurants, plages à proximité Nous n'avons vu le réceptionnaire qu'à notre arrivée. Ils ne proposent pas de services, pas de petit déjeuner, pas de quoi prendre un verre à la piscine et chambre un peu spartiate. Impossible de fermer la porte de douche, ni d'utiliser les appareils à disposition comme la machine à café car les prises de courant étaient inutilisables. Pour la douche une simple brique de savon et pas de champoing. Les murs n'avaient plus vu de rafraîchissement depuis longtemps, l'installation électrique de la tv pas des plus sûr avec les fils apparents.
• Jennifer (10/5): My stay at Hotel Villas de la Selva will be forever imprinted on my heart. The location near the beach, Manuel Antonio - Beautiful accommodations close to the beach and Manuel Antonio National Park, breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, and exceptional guest care.
• Margaret (8/5): Amazing view, hippy funk room that worked perfectly for our last minute stay near Manuel Antonio - The view is amazing overlooking the ocean with incredible sunsets from the roomy patio. This is what made the place excellent. William was exceptional in always available for the little things that come up. The pool was nice and well maintained. Added bonus of monkey's visiting. The room is functional. You have to enjoy a bit of hippy funk to like the room. Two beds head to toe. The mini kitchen worked to make a simple meal. The walk to the beach is a steep climb on a windy road so for these older legs not really walkable. Decent restaurants an easy walk. We had a last minute change in plans that put us in this area for 2 nights and it worked perfectly for a cost effective visit. The room really is hippy funk which my partner like and me not so much. The rooms are are the side of the hill so it's steep steps to any of the rooms. William carried my heavy bag which was wonderful.

• Sarahjane (8/5): Beautiful view of Manuel Antonio - beautiful view from the terrace. We had rooms 7 and 8 which joined together by a folding door on the terrace. perfect for 2 couples. Kitchen well stocked Tricky walk into town as no path and steep hill but can drive or catch the bus. the no drinking rule around the pool seems unnecessary and disappointing particularly if plastic glasses were supplied. The cushions for the sunbeds were very thin.
• Ketty (9/5): - The place is called “Selva” for an obvious reason — there are free-roaming animals around, and we saw some of them, like iguanas and monkeys (lots of playful monkeys, and even a little one nursing its baby). The view is beautiful, and the room had everything we needed, very clean. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. I’m only not giving a ten because beach access could be easier — the 100-meter access nearby is only for guests of the neighboring hotel, so to reach the beach you need to walk a little further, but it’s inconvenient because cars pass by on the road, making it a bit dangerous, and there’s also an uphill climb on the way back.

• Jon (8/5): Great place for short stop - It was good for a short stay. There was nothing at all wrong with the place but you do need a car to get around. It is well equipped, and has a lovely forecourt with table, chairs and a hammock where you can sit and look out on to the sea. Shame you can not walk down to the sea. Also, nothing to do with the accommodation, but be aware that Manuel Antonio National Park is not open everyday. Nothing.

• Douglas (9/5): Amazing views and could easily have stayed a fortnight here - It was clean and comfortable and the view was amazing, air conditioning was great inside and even our balcony had a fan which made sitting out there looking for whales and dolphins in the bay pleasurable even at the hottest point of the day. Well equipped little kitchen - highly recommend - to our delight and everyone else staying the manager knocked on the door to let us know a sloth and her baby were making their way across the property - special moment We had booked two apartments at the same time and naturally assumed they would be together however upon arrival we were as far apart as possible, also just a warning regarding the swimming pool in that there could be many stairs to go down or up to access it and the depth of the pool is not child friendly

• Angela (8/5): Beautiful views, great location - A basic but comfortable villa with everything you need for a short stay. The best thing about my villa was the views from the balcony and hammocks to relax in overlooking the beautiful gardens and pacific coast. There’s lots of wildlife to watch and the monkeys visit frequently. I was especially treated to a sloth and her baby passing through the property, a wonderful experience. Conveniently located a short drive from the National Park, this was a good value stay

Et super initiative d'avoir installer des cordes pour faciliter les déplacements des singes et paresseux, c'est le grand plus de la location. Pour finir chaque hébergement a une vue extra sur la mer et son coucher de soleil La cuisine est vraiment petite et les équipements pas très fonctionnel. Pour chauffer l'eau nous utilisions le cuiseur à riz et la plaque de cuisson est hors d'âge (et poussiéreuse..)

• Malin (10/5): Lovely, peaceful place - This might be one of my favourite hotels I’ve ever stayed at. It’s like its own little piece of paradise tucked into the hill. Beautiful view, wildlife at the doorstep and friendly staff. Easy access to the beach and manuel Antonio. Would definitely book again.

• Sarah (9/5): Amazing ocean view stay - Incredible view from our villa balcony watching the birds, animals, ocean, flora etc - there was a mum and baby sloth living in the tree above our car too! The villa had everything we needed for our action packed time in Manuel Antonio and Will organised our trip to the National Park too which was super convenient. It was very hard to find where to pull in and park to check in - more info on this would be useful to others in future maybe. Parking was no problem once we knew what we were doing though

• Jeanette (9/5): Loved it. Would highly recommend - Location was amazing. The view can’t be beat. Loved having a kitchen. The pool was great. Lots of wildlife in the area and in the grounds Parking some of the spots are hard to navigate.
• Remko (7/5): Nice view and oool, host and room good be better - Nice pool and balcony When we arrived at 3pm the room was not ready; receptionist said he has to “sower first in our room”. Very strange. When we eventually checked in at 4pm te room was clean. The layout of the room 2 beds back to back is a bit awkward; also quite small.

Good parking and having the pool a real bonus Nothing really although it is pretty basic and shower could do with updating as very weak and provision of bedside lamps - had to wear my head torch to read in bed, apart from that though, enjoyable stay

• Leila (6/5): - Koko hinta oli vain upeaan näköalaan perustuva. Suomessa ei ikinä olisi 145 €/vrk olisi ollut samanveroinen huoneeseen nähden ja ilman aamiaista. Eikä siellä ole edes reseptionia ja kaikki tulevat turistit olivat "ihan pihalla sisäänkirjautumisen" suhteen.Kaikilla ei ole wifi-puhelinta auki! Huoneen vanha taso hintaan nähden.
• Santiago (8/5): lindo viaje - la vista ver los monitos la amabilidad que decia estar a 150 m de la playa pero no había cómo llegar. El vecino cerró el pasó para todos a pesar de ser público.

• Ronald (9/5): De la selva heißt „im Dschungel“ - zurecht! - Der Wahnsinns-Ausblick über der Dschungel auf den Pazifik. Großartig! Dank der kleinen Küche konnten wir unsere Mahlzeiten selbst zubereiten und sie vor den Panorama genießen. Immer schön die Küchen schließen, wenn die Affen kommen!

La piscina está super linda, hay una para sentarse y otra para nadar con vistas al mar. Las habitaciones tienen todo lo esencial. Super cerca de la playa. El staff super amable e informativo. Se ven los monitos y las guatusas aparecer por la mañana.

It needs major updates! - Beautiful location, responsive stuff, proximity to restaurants The hotel is pretty and in a great location. It just needs maintenance and renovation. There was an odor of shoes in the rooms even though it was clean. They should provide more towels, toilet paper, soaps..They need to paint the hotel, have new sheets, beds etc..it needs a major lifting.

• Veronica (7/5): Vistas y entorno idílico - Las vistas increíbles desde la habitación, la piscina y la experiencia de disfrutar de la presencia de los monos todas las tardes. No es oro todo lo que reluce, las fotos que aparecen en Booking me parecieron que no reflejan la realidad. Quizá fue la habitación que me tocó pero me llevé chasco cuando la vi. Faltaba de colocar la hamaca ( y después entendí por qué, ya que la seguridad del anclaje no era para nada buena). La habitación y la terraza me parecieron más pequeñas en comparación a las fotos y algunos utensilios de cocina estaban algo sucios...
• Wang (10/5): We had a very welcoming stay at Villas de la Selva. The room was comfortable with a functioning kitchen. Right outside o - Very peaceful with stunning ocean views. Lots of animal friends as neighbors, such as iguanas and monkeys (they won’t disturb you if you don’t disturb them)

• Emanuele (4/5): - Nice view We got a different apartment than the one we booked online and the one we received had many cockroaches. The guy said that it was my fault that I didn’t recognize the right apartment when I entered (kind of tricky in a long trip with many bookings) and tried to help with the cockroaches, but we still found some hangin around the day after.

• Cecilia (8/5): - Fantastisk udsigt fra værelset. Venligt personale. Gode restauranter tæt på hotellet. Gåafstand til stranden. Ikke langt fra indgangen til Nationalparken Manuel Antonio. Hotellet er slidt - især poolområdet. Vores værelse lå øverst direkte ud til en meget trafikeret vej, hvilket resulterede i voldsom trafikstøj hele dagen, også om natten.

• Plumbridge (2/5): Not happy - The view was good Went I got there I rang the bell for 20 minutes and still not see any one one of the guest let me in then it took me another 20 minutes to find some one then when they took me to the room thete was a strong smell from the bathroom so I ask if they can do some think about it they reckonise the smell and spoke to the owner and basically sent a threatening message back saying pay for another room or get lost they sort out the problem a bit better for me by putting drain clean down the pipes and air fresh for the room the room was not described to what they said and a few stuff did not work in kitchen but I to scared to say any think it was a shame because the rest of my holiday was fantastic the other two hotel I book were brilliant I would not recommend this place

Des petits animaux se baladent librement dans les environs, jusque dans le jardin de l'hôtel Pas mal d'escaliers pour descendre jusqu'aux chambres/à la piscine
