Guest Reviews
- Donna (9/5): Beautiful country setting. - Absolutely stunning setting. Not too far from Old Bar and Manning Point. Beautiful country drive. Beautiful views of the Manning Valley. Ian and Stella were welcoming and friendly, as were their beautiful pets! King bed was very firm, but that may suit some people. The other option is a double pull-out sofa bed in the living area..
- Allan (9/5): - Amazing stay, Easter Sunday. Great value, with nice warm features, nice facilities and a killer view. Loved it! Wine on the hill, while the sun sets.
- JO (10/5): We will be back! - Ian & Stella have been the best hosts! We are so grateful for their wonderful hospitality!!! Their pets have welcomed our pets and we have all felt so much at home! Thank you Ian & Stella! You are 5 Star Hosts!
- JO (10/5): Very grateful to have stayed in such a great location! - Location was perfect! Nothing we did not like
- JO (10/5): Thank you Stella & Ian! We really appreciated your hospitality! - Location was perfect and the hosts were wonderful and made us feel right at Home!
- Ellen (10/5): Pleasant stay. Love the quiet location! It has everything you need - The location
- Suzana (7/5): - Hosts were amazing, place was beautiful, the views superb! Facilities were fantastic, they provided porridge breakfast and lots of coffee and condiments. Everything you need to cook if you brought your own food too. The only downfall was there was no aircon. We unfortunately arrived on a 39 degree day, so it was very hot and we didn’t sleep well. If an aircon was installed for days like that, I would rate the place 10 out of ten!
- Glenda (9/5): A perfect retreat. - Stunning view especially at sunset. Its location is ‘out of the way’ but absolutely worth the effort!
Well appointed and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Big comfy bed and sofa bed, excellent shower, warm and welcoming hosts.
- Wendy (10/5): Cosy cottage style accomodation - This property is a lovely serene haven, with a wonderful veiw over the river. The house is thoughtfully decorate with homey touches. The hosts are extremely welcoming and then respectful of your privacy, their dogs and cat were happy to have a new person to give them a scratch behind the ears. There was a basket of useful goodies, and food items as well as coffee, tea and lots of other condiments and bits and pieces. I hope I can stay there again on day. Wifi would be a welcome addition.
- Kim (10/5): First class loved the quietness - The property is very quiet location and only the sound of wildlife to be heard. It is spotless and the hosts were lovely. There is currently no WiFi but scheduled to be installed but this didn't bother us. Everything was just as we hoped no negatives

- Lynn (10/5): Ian & Stella have created a beautiful cottage on their rather idyllic property. - It was absolutely perfect!
- Simon (3/5): Far from the highway, not friendly for pets. - Leaving It could have said “dog friendly for a fee” the owner called us the night before saying there was a fee of $25 if we had a dog due to extra cleaning, also he scolded our dog when he was sniffing a seat in the lounge. Not dog friendly at all!
- Steve (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly hosts, spectacular views, comfortable accommodation in converted hay shed. Unfortunately there was no WiFi however it’s a great place to relax and disconnect!

- Jonathon (10/5): This stay exceeded all expectations and made us feel not just like guests but part of the family - If you're looking for an extraordinary escape that combines rustic charm with modern comforts, look no further than this magical farm stay. Here's why it was a trip to remember:
The Hay Shed was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and outfitted with plush furniture that made you feel at home. The beds were sumptuous, enveloped in high-quality linens that guaranteed a restful sleep. It felt like a five-star hotel but with the soul of a cozy, country home.
The hosts were great, they greeted us with warm smiles and were always available for recommendations. They were attentive but never intrusive, striking the perfect balance of hospitality and privacy. Their knowledge and love for the their land added an extra layer of enjoyment to our stay.
One of the highlights was how accommodating the farm was to our four-legged family members. Our dogs had the best time exploring the fields and interacting with the farm animals, under our supervision of course. A pet-friendly accommodation that doesn't compromise on quality or aesthetics is hard to find, and this farm stay nailed it.
- Robert (9/5): We were warmly welcomed and loved having a BBQ and outdoor fire overlooking the sun setting over a panoramic view - Unique refurbished hay shed set on a large property with panoramic views
- Pip (10/5): Exceptional - The farm location was amazing. Our hosts hospitality ensured our family stay was comfortable & memorable. Bbq & outdoor dining area iwas ideal. Local area attractions & townships offer a variety of of activities with beaches & lookouts. A great time was had by all! Nothing
- Michael (10/5): Very happy -
- Kathleen (8/5): Very good -
- Km (10/5): Magic with a view - Wow! This really is a magical piece of heaven on earth. The Hay Shed is beautiful cosy accommodation sitting high on hill with spectacular views over the river and mountains. The apartment is spacious, so well equipped and is the perfect spot to relax and unwind. It is exceptionally clean, has quality linen and little extras like a coffee machine and boardgames for guests to enjoy. The outdoor pergola area is the perfect spot to bbq or just enjoy the fire pit.Stella and Ian are so welcoming and made our stay perfect. They both have a lot of knowledge of the area and were more than happy to point us in the right direction to explore the area. We found this place by chance and it was very last minute but that was not a problem for these wonderful hosts! Our dog was also made very welcome and became firm friends with the resident dogs....we all can't to come back again and stay a bit longer. Can not fault this place at all
