- Stephanie (4/5): It was okay probably wouldn’t stay here again - Perfect location close to the hospital and shops Place was dirty, no communication on where the trash went ( have to take your own rubbish out) parking was confusing, numbers of car park were everywhere, would be nice to have signs and colours for floors
Bed was super hard, deck was covered in boxes and their was a random large tv in hallway, dirty blinds and doors
- Daniel (1/5): Check in was a joke, different address to find a key once I it was filthy, TV not working, door didn’t lock from inside, - My father was across the road in the privet hospital so location was perfect. Location only.
- Scott (4/5): Very disappointed - Over priced for a tied apartment that is in need of maintenance and TLC. - The location was great in terms of ease to where our facilities are located at Padstow, NSW. The apartment was clean on arrival and the hot water was great but sadly this was over shadowed by the tiredness of the apartment and severe leaking air conditioner. The air conditioner leaked water extensively amounting to some 5-6 litres of water that constantly dripped from the ceiling within a 10hr period, this was immediately reported however no person attended to fix or option given to move to another apartment. The ceiling stains indicated that this was not an isolate event, very disappointing that the owner has an expectation that severely leaking water from the air conditioner is acceptable.
There are poorly patched hole/s in the bedroom door and walls throughout the apartment.
The windows had not been cleaned in a long while making what could have been a reasonable view quite unsightly.
The remote for the TV remote would work intermittently so change the volume and channels were manually done from the side of the TV - this was not a deal breaker but just another annoying component of the apartment.
The bed in room number 1 was very low and ridiculously hard, like sleeping on cardboard.
The keys to the apartment were not within the apartment confines, instead located across the main road in a lockbox attached to a fence.
- Sunil (3/5): Poor - Properly location is good Regrettably, my experience at 1B Pearl street fell short of expectations. Despite making a reservation well in advance, upon arrival, my room was not ready at the agreed-upon time. This delay inconvenienced me and left me feeling frustrated.
Adding to the disappointment was the unprofessional demeanor of the manager. When I approached them to inquire about the delay, their response was dismissive and bordered on rudeness. Their lack of empathy and unwillingness to address the situation further compounded my dissatisfaction.
Furthermore, throughout my stay, I encountered other issues such as cleanliness oversights and maintenance issues within the room. Despite bringing these concerns to the attention of the staff, the responses were lackluster, and the problems remained unresolved.
Overall, my stay at 1B Pearl street was marred by a combination of delays, poor customer service, and a lack of attention to detail. As a frequent traveler, I expect a certain level of professionalism and service quality, both of which were sorely lacking during my time at this establishment.
