• tzippy (10/5): - Absolutely incredible all round from the view to the big nice living space and kitchen, this is the place to stay! I wish we knew about the fact that there is only 1 bus that comes to the bus stop and it stop at 4pm. The only other way to get to the apartment is the hike up a huge mountain. We ended up Ubering from the train station up but i just wish we knew in advance.

Я уже не говорю о кофе или растительном масле, который ,есть практически везде где я была. Кровать была твердой и неудобной . Мы не могли спать все 4 ночи . В остальном все хорошо тепло и чисто. Мы уходили утром и возвращались поздно вечером.

• patricia (7/5): Gorgeous view...don't expect hot water on demand, reliable dryer, and treacherous road for 1! - The view was the best part. It was clean and mostly equipped That there was NO HOT WATER for a day and half. We missed showers at night after sweaty hikes, no am showers either. We contacted the manager, they said there is a boiler that comes on at night. It never did after day one! It was never mentioned hot water is dependent on a boiler that does not go on until night time... and once again it never did. The dryer never dried clothes after hours, and yes we read instructions. The couch that was supposedly for sleeping was small, not pull out. Does not accommodate two persons. They said it accommodated 4 persons, not really with inadequate couch. The hot water issued never resolved and we left with only half our people willing to take cold showers! And would be nice to mention it's a way road and they you will likely have to back up down the steeps hills until others can pass!

The accommodation gives one great happiness - A beautiful Cosy Appartment at a beautiful location up the hill facing the best mountain in Switzerland ‘s Interlaken district . Nothing that comes to mind except that it’s a bit of a rush to check out at 10 am when you are enjoying such a vacation

• Connor (7/5): Beautiful views with great amenities but a hike without a car - This property has a beautiful view that I don't think you could get anywhere else. It was a big property with a full kitchen and a balcony. The location was also nice and quiet. The host was also very helpful and responsive in getting the TV to work My only problem with this property is the location. If you have a car, it is nice since there is a designated parking spot. If not, you either have to take the bus or walk to get to the main part of Grindelwald. There is a bus stop less than 30 seconds away but the bus is VERY infrequent. The main bus line is below the property about a 10-minute walk down a steep path. There is a less steep path to the town but it is about a 30 min walk down. Heading back up to the property was the hard part since, even if you take the bus, it is a hike to make it back.

• Saul (9/5): Beautiful mountain chalet with spectacular view - Spectacular, postcard-perfect view of Mt Eiger and the Grindelwald valley. The apartment is clean and well maintained, and the beds are comfortable, with lots of bedding provided in case of cold weather. A microwave would have been nice. And some coffee, either instant or pods. Other than that it was a perfect stay.

I would recommend and would come back again. Parking was provided which was great. It was a bit far out and uphill if you didn’t have a car or wanted to enjoy apres ski which wasn’t a problem for us as we had a child, but might be for some.

• Chi (8/5): Everything you need for a relax stay - Very nice place if with car. Quiet surroundings with great mountains view. A bit tricky with hot water shower but the stay manual on table tells you how to. Overall it is a great place. No dishwasher and bath

The apartment was maintained to the high standards and we would definitely recommend that for a leisure break. It would have been nice if EU adapter were also provided as we struggled to use our electronic devices inc mobile phones as Swiss adapters were not compatible.

• Heather (8/5): Wonderful stay in a quiet and beautiful location. - The view was absolutely stunning. The bus stop not too far from the property. The fondue set! Bed was comfortable and nice comforter. Was not stocked with enough basics like toilet paper. Need to be more clear in description about location being not ideal for some without a car. Bus times end early and you are left hiking up the mountain with luggage etc.

• Stephen (3/5): 2 bedroom apartment with Mountain Views. Sofa bed is non-existent - The location was great with views of the Eiger and Grindelwald down below. The accommodation states it sleep 4 but really it’s just 2. The sofa bed is a complete joke. It’s a barely functioning couch that had to be moved around to slightly resemble a small bed. It was also very hard and would have been better to sleep on the floor.
• Marc (9/5): Spectacular view in a peaceful location - Great view from the terrace, quiet location. The place is clean and well equipped. Great starting point for walks to Bussalp area. One bedroom with a queen sized bed was good for us and our daughter slept on the sofa bed in the living room. Great to have a parking lot just in front of the chalet. It’s a 30 mins walk to the village center, although there is a bus now and then during day time, I would recommend to have a car.
• Elizabeth (7/5): A good stay at a great location. - A drape instead of a door on the bedroom. I had to take the door off on arrival and rehang it when leaving.
• Pradeep (5/5): Don’t stay if you are going with a family - Great view Approach to the property from city center is poor. Basic stuff like shampoo and shower gel were missing. Given that the approach to city center is so poor, it is a pain to realize that these items are not there
• Yutong (10/5): Exceptional - We really enjoyed the beautiful balcony view and found that all the kitchen necessities were well prepared. Our holiday here was wonderful. The bus schedule is irregular. If we miss bus 126, we have to wait 1.5 hours and then walk 15 minutes for bus 122. It's quite inconvenient to carry a lot of luggage.

• Minal (6/5): The place was good. The view was beautiful. The host was responsive. Overall a good stay. - Not applicable. We were 2 people and we ran out of hot water after 1 .5 shower. Had to finish my shower with cold water. The boiler heated the water in the night. So we were without hot water the whole day. My advice use hot water carefully.

• Ali (7/5): Good - You will need 15 minutes in from entering the area to reach the house. At night, it’s hard to leave or come to the house as you will go through oneway roads on a mountain.
• Roni (9/5): Loved our stay - The views.... Nothing like waking up to it. We we're a couple + a toddler, and it was great. Nice living area, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen was small but had all we needed. Had hot water all the time and it was warm and cozy inside. The stairs (had to go down and up the stairs from the car) The location is fine if you are driving, not so great if you are relying on public transportation.

• Kevinh166 (10/5): A small but comfortable apartment with a fantastic view near a town with many summer activities - A small kitchen and small bedroom give more space for the living/dining room and the view from the balcony towards the Eiger is incredible! The apartment is located along a private road and has parking right outside, which is useful because it's a long walk uphill from the town, although there is a bus service. It's dark and quiet at night - good for stargazing! Grindelwald is a great place to stay in the summer, as there are a lot of activities which start in the town. There's enough equipment in the kitchen to cook simple meals (which is handy, since eating out is very expensive) although there's no microwave. The WiFi is good and the smart TV has Netflix etc which you could use for English viewing. The information from the management company before and during the stay was good. Although the apartment was generally spotless, the crockery and some cookware had greasy marks on them and needed to be re-washed. The pillows are very soft, which might not suit everyone. The bedroom is rather small and the bed is two singles joined together, so there's not much space. Be aware there are a number of steep steps to get to the apartment.
• Scott (9/5): We were happy over all and would recommend this for a couples retreat. - The property had a view to die for. It was quaint and pleasant for a couple. It had all the necessities and did I mention a view to die for. Owner was extremely reachable and helpful. Location was a few minute drive from down town. We knew it didn’t have air conditioning but it got a bit uncomfortable. It would be nice to have a fan to move air through the house.
