Janelle (4/5): Not a happy stay... - This property was situated beautifully. The beach was very close, and shopping was close by as well. The house was unbearably hot and humid!! There was no air conditioning!! The small fans that were provided had only circulated the already hot air. It only had one double bed and 4 single beds, which was not suitable for 2 couples. One bedroom did not have any blinds on the window, just a filmsy curtain which did not keep any of the street lights or sun out, so if you wanted to have a sleep in (as you do on holidays) bad luck. One bedroom door was only held on by one hinge it was the same with the wardrobe doors. Also, you are expected to bring your own toilet paper!! And make up all the beds. There was no microwave either. On the day you vacate the premises at 9.30am ( it's actually 10am but you have to get the keys to the real estate by 10am) They must not have cleaners come through before the next holiday makers, as we had to strip all beds and have the laundry bags out the front door by a specific time, basically do a full clean. Now I dont mind doing a full clean its only fair but at least give us more time at checkout to do so. So good luck trying to get the family showered, dressed, fed, and all the cleaning done and out by 9.30.
