• CAMILLA (1/5): Terribile - La vicinanza alla metropolitana. Biancheria pulita. Struttura terribile, avevamo prenotato una camera privata con bagno. Quando siamo arrivati la moquette era tutta bagnata a causa del condizionatore che perdeva e cosa molto grave c era muffa nera sui muri. Ci hanno con difficoltà cambiato con altra camera privata ma comunicante con camere capsule ostello. Moquette sporca con unghie sul pavimento. Diciamo che ci siamo dovuti adattare molto. Le foto sul sito non rispecchiano la realtà.

• Erik (7/5): Affordable OK hostel - Good price for Singapore. Rooms are clean. Good location. Beds are ok. Location is nice. Breakfast was underwhelming. Showers felt a bit unclean. The nightclubs can be heard at night and could affect sleep.
• Yike (7/5): Good place to stay for a night - Was able to get inside and wait for the check in time (could have left my luggage there as well). Online pre-check-in saved time. Was allowed to store my luggage after checking out. Bus and metro station right around the corner. Basic breakfast included. Room was in a higher level and no elevator. At first nobody opened the door although there were obviously people inside. Staff were laughing at people who intended to go out during the day. But it's not that bad, Singapore has managed it quite well to allow the pedestrians to walk in shadowed areas and offers a lot of greenery in the city.

• Nicholas (6/5): I got used to the place after a few days, the first couple of days I didn’t like it so much. Would I stay here again, I - It was literally across from the Rocher MRT station. Staff were very friendly and helpful. And they were consistently maintaining the cleanliness of the place. It had an “Indian asian” feel about it, starting with no shoes beyond reception. (Didn’t help when my socks got wet cause someone had wet the carpet in the room). But we are on the edge of “little India” so this is to be expected and people might even prefer this feel. The room aircon is hard to get right as some people will need it colder and some warmer. I was falling ill from the cold so had to get it the temperature raised. Someone else needed it colder. You have no control in the room so you have to go down to reception and ask them to come to the room to adjust each time. And this oscillates between people. Because the pod blinds aren’t good at keeping aircon out. Otherwise I wouldn’t have bothered asking at the reception. The blanket they give is very flimsy so if you are a person that needs to keep warm you might want something of your own. I asked for extra blankets and ended up with 4 by the time I left. It does not have an up-market feel for whomever that comment helps - for that, go more towards KINN habitat nr Clarke Quay. This is more like an Asian family run feel (but it’s not, I think, just the feel). And they do work hard :) They provide tea bags and coffee sachets (creamer included within it). But do not provide milk except at breakfast time. There is a fridge which is handy, but it’s usually quite full.

The room was private and big enough for the family of 5 and our bags. Bathroom was big and comfortable as well. Taking off the shoes at the entrance was unusual, good and respectful. The morning breakfast looked a bit chaotic with all the people on the small area, but we like it anyway. It was quiet in the night. ---

• Maya (10/5): - Great area, right across from Rochor station on the DT line. If you're coming from the airport, I'd recommend going all the way to Rochor instead of getting off at Bugis. There are lots of fantastic restaurants nearby (my fav is Aarya) and fun little shops. It's also super easy to get around two other parts of the city with the MRT. There is a laundromat a couple doors down as well although it's not quite as cheap as some farther out. One thing to keep in mind about this area is that it is a bit dingy in a very charming way. No Prada or Gucchi stores, which is a plus for me. The capsule beds are fairly spacious. Despite being twin size and there's space to put stuff down next to the bed. The ceiling in the capsule is high enough to sit up fully and even stretch a bit. There is an outlet in each capsule but it is a regular wall outlet, not a usb c so make sure you have an adapter. There are lots of spots to buy adapters nearby if you don't have one. There is good AC in the rooms and if it is too cold the receptionists are more than happy to adjust the temperature. The showers are wonderful with hot water and a stable temperature. Good water pressure and flow as well. There's also glass between the shower and the toilet so it doesn't get all wet outside of the shower area. Shampoo and body soap are provided. The breakfasts are toast with peanut butter, jam and nutella. There's also a selection of cereal to choose from and a choice of cows, milk or soy milk provided. Tea and coffee is always available along with hot and cold drinking water. The coffee is the kind that comes as a powder mix in the packet so it's already milky and sweet. There are no couches or comfy spaces per se in the communal area, but there is lots of seating at tables. Most of the tables also have outlets for charging things.

Cons: from the dorm room there was a door to a private room where 3 crying and screaming toddlers were staying. Didn’t get much much sleep. Bathroom didn’t get cleaned daily, one bathroom for 8 people, didn’t feel like the safest option as a solo female in a mixed dorm. Location okayish if you’re okay with walking.

• Carina23 (7/5): Okay stay in Singapore, affordable! - It’s right in front of a metro station, so it’s very convenient for getting around. Little India MRT Station is also within walking distance. The room is okay, and the bathroom inside was always clean. I stayed in a female dorm and would highly recommend it. I was there for 3 days, which was enough to see the city, I wouldn’t stay longer. The Wi-Fi signal in the room is basically non-existent, so you can’t really use your phone or laptop while relaxing in bed. That’s why the common area is always full of people with their laptops. The vibe isn’t the typical backpacker hostel. There were people in their 40s–50s, and I even saw a family. I guess everyone is just trying to find a more affordable place to stay in Singapore, myself included, lol. The curtain on my bed came off twice, but they fixed it very quickly,I think they’re used to it 😅

The bathroom is spacious, probably the best hostel bathroom in singapore. Friendly staff, decent breakfast. Location is very near rochor mrt. Will come back. The mattress has sunken down. I used the blanket to patch up the curve haha. Also the bar opposite the hostel can be very noise until 3/4am. Make sure to have earphone/ear plug.

• Hayley (9/5): - Very close to MRT and bus station, so very easy to get to places like sentosa and the marina. Decent for a budget stay and a short stay. Pod was spacious and comfortable. Room and bathroom clean. Shower was good. And shampoo and showel gel was provided :) Would stay again. Only provide you with a small towle. I hqd a top bunk and i wont lie the ladder was not to nice to climb, it hirt my feet and i know the other girls in the room felt the same.

• Suhrud (8/5): Great for the price! Just a bit noisy~ - Very decent for the price you pay. Clean, convenient location, staff is friendly enough (although not super warm or open to talk, BUT good enough). The free included breakfast was surprisingly decent for a hostel. Coffee sachets, toast with multiple spreads, cereal. Especially in such an expensive place like Singapore, every dollar saved was welcome. This is a very small point, but may bother people who are light sleepers or very sensitive to noise. When I stayed, there were a LOT of Indian and Filipino residents who were very noisy and talked on their phone loudly for a long time. This was even during the “quiet times”. I think the hostel needs to enforce the rules properly. The staff didn’t seem to care.
• Kumra (3/5): Hit - Staff n place was nice Very hot in the pods as aircon us at the corridor only n most guests were feeling hot 🔥
• Tadeáš (1/5): Strašný - vyhněte se tomu obloukem. - Nic. Špína všude - na zemi, v posteli, v koupelně, na nádobí. Naprosto hnus. Sice levný, ale ve finále bydlíte jak v chlívku. Nohy se lepí na zem jak je špinavá, proležený 10cm matrace plný nějakých breber (celá rodina jsme osypaní), okno do ulice nelze zavřít. Z klimatizace jde vzduch jak ze záchodu (smrad a vlhko). Nádobí si po sobě mají umývat lidé - nikdo nepoužívá saponát a používá se tam jedna odporná houbička na nádobí. K snídani je tousťák a nejlacinější marmeláda a čokoláda (v sámošce koupíte za dva dolary lepší). Vydrzeli jsme den a půl, z původně zamýšlených tří - nevydrželi jsme to tam.
• Ghulam (8/5): Nice place to stay attached to Rochor MRT station. Good Indian & Pakistani food with reasonabl price - Good. Plz add boils egg in breakfast menu Bathroom should be separate
• Sarah (9/5): Dejligt hostel og værelser samt god beliggenhed. Kan anbefales!!! -
• Chin Hooi (8/5): 还可以 - 靠近地铁站出口。提供早餐。有2间卫生间很方便轮流使用，而且比预期的干净。 卫生有点不到位，房内地毯有霉菌的味道。床架不稳，一移动转身，床架发出很大声响。靠近厕所的2张单人床完全吹不到冷气，很热。如果提供风扇就更完善。被子有点小。
• Carlos Qianli (8/5): Nice short stay if you need a centrally located, clean bed - The bed is very comfortable, clean, and the location is right next to a MRT station in the centre. The WiFi is extremely weak in the room. The breakfast is very mediocre.
• KP (9/5): - Easy to find, very accessible to any places, nice and helpful staffs Unfortunately, my curtain kept falling.
