• Dylan (Chuan-Yu) (10/5): Apartment right next to local train station with everthing needed for travelling - Great location right next to local train station, around 10 minute to main station. Host Gladys was super helpful and friendly, gave us lots of information for local area. The apartment offers everything we need also has a wash machine for laundry. There’s a pizza restaurant 5 minutes away was very tasty 😋
• Peter-Chris (6/5): - Prima lokatie tov het centrum, goed te vinden De airco werd door de verhuurder op afstand bediend omdat de airco control niet gekoppeld was aan de airco unit. Daardoor werd de slaapruimte 's-nachts te warm en sliepen we minder goed en hadden we hoofdpijn.

A major advantage of this property is the nearby train, which runs frequently and gets you to the city center in just three minutes. We traveled by car, so having parking right in front of the building (included in the price) was a huge plus. Gladys is an exceptional host who shared many helpful tips about Florence—where to eat, how to get around, and more. If you have the chance to stay here, don’t hesitate!

• IOANA-CRISTINA (10/5): Location, security, comfortable, all you need. - Location 2 min away from the train station which is just one station from the central station. Ground floor apartment with an upper floor bedroom and a sofa-bed, bathroom and kitchen on the ground floor. Comfortable self check in, Gladys is a lovely host and super communicative and helpful, she let us leave some stuff in before the normal check in (as we booked just 1 h before arriving and gave us lots of tips where to eat (and the food was great). Parking outside secured in the closed residential area where only residents can park (entrance by code). Super clean apartment with all you need inside. Good internet and smart Tv. We spent just one night because during the day we visited Florence but all in all it was a relaxing night to charge the batteries for our next trip. Thank you Gladys, we would definitely recommend you and come back one day!

Gladys was one of the best hosts we’ve had on our trip and she took care of us from day one always answering - I loved being near the train station and not having to walk up 300 flights of stairs on a mountain (Ravello). Easy access to a walkable city made our stay pleasant. The property was cleaned and prepped for our stay.
• Daniel (10/5): - Die Unterkunft liegt sehr nah am Bahnhof und bietet eine ideale Verbindung ins Zentrum. Alles war absolut sauber. Die Eigentümerin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. In der Küche war alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Zusätzlich gibt es einen privaten Abstellplatz. Sehr empfehlenswert!

She sent us every bit of information we could need - nearby supermarkets, bars and restaurants, how to get into Florence (apartment was just across the road from the train station and only 1 stop). She checked in regularly with us to make sure everything was OK and was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this apartment. It has everything we needed and was in a very convenient location. I'm very picky about pillows and the pillows were flat and hard. However, we discovered that in the five towns/cities we stayed in on our trip to Italy, that all the pillows were the same!

L'host Gladys disponibilissima ad ogni nostra esigenza,ci ha dato ottimi consigli per la visita a Firenze e servizi nei dintorni della casa. Consigliato per chi ha animali al seguito, nella zona si possono fare delle belle passeggiate con loro. Strategica la posizione a due passi dalla fermata della stazione Rifredi che porta in 5 minuti a S.Maria Novella. Ci torneremo sicuramente.

• gavatom (7/5): - Közel volt a vasútállomás a szálláshoz. Szépen berendezett volt az apartman. A fürdőszobában kellemetlen wc- szag terjengett, ez volt a legzavaróbb a szálláson. A lenti kanapéágy kényelmetlen volt. Olaszországban minden helyen ingyenes volt a kiskutyánk szállása, hiszen nem vett igénybe semmilyen szolgáltatást, itt a szállásadó éjszakánként €10 - t felszámolt a semmiért. Tulajdonképpen egy légtérben voltunk elhelyezve négyen, ezt a szállást inkább ajánlanám két embernek . Alapvetően más szállásokhoz képest túlárazottnak éreztük.

• Lydia (10/5): Lovely apartment and most understanding host - Gladys was a wonderful and understanding host. I had a stressful incident where my phone screen broke halfway through my trip. Because of this, I lost all my details, and we were late to check out as I tried to get my phone fixed the morning of checkout. I did not have a way to contact Gladys, and had to leave you a note to explain. After I returned to the UK and was able to contact her, she was very understanding and kind, and didn't charge me late check out. It is so nice to have that care and humanity in the world. Thank you so much Gladys! The apartment itself was lovely, and very well situated. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean. It was minutes from the train station so very easy to reach the centre, and also for trips to Pisa. A very safe area! 10/10 would 100% recommend this apartment! Thank you Gladys 😊😊😁

The owner was friendly and helpful in all our needs not only for the accomodation but also with suggestions for food, sightseeing etc. I highly recommend it for a pleasant stay in Florence Its location is not so close to the center of the old city.
• Özgür (9/5): A well-located cosy apartment.. - Considering that you cannot find a proper parking lot in the city center easily, this apartment can be a good option for accessing the best historical places by train. You can park your car close to the apartment, walk 150 m, get on a train from Firenze Rifredi station, get off in Firenze Santa Maria Novella station and start your tour easily. Everything was well considered, the apartment was cosy and peaceful. Especially, directions to find and enter the apartment, instructions to utilize the stuff and advices for restaurants, markets and other facilities by the host-Gladys were brilliant. Not that bad but maybe the water heater system can be enhanced and the second bed from the sofa can be renewed.

That says everything I guess :) I can only confirm my first review: The apartment is very clean and well equipped. The entrance to the train station is a 5 minute walk and the train gets you to the center of Firenze in just 5 minutes. In the kitchenette you’ll find everything you need to prepare breakfast or a lunch. But there’s a nice (and cheap) bar on the backside of the apartment (It's closed in the weekends though). Gladys is a very nice host who does everything to make you feel at ease. She gives you a lot of tips to enjoy your stay in Firenze at the most!

• Kurtis (10/5): Truly perfect location, great apartment, and the property owner/host is one of the kindest people in all of Florence - Gemme was a perfect spot for my wife and I during our stay in Firenze. The apartment was clean, convenient, and not without its own charm. The loft style bedroom is also kind of cool. The location overall is absolutely perfect. Literally across the street from the local train station, and one stop away from Santa Maria Novella station, which is Florence’s major hub for all connections, and is the literal heart of the city center. Also within the gates of the property is Ercole cafe, which is a great little spot for coffee and pastries in the morning. It’s literally steps away from the front door. We had zero complaints.

The staircase to the sleeping area is a bit narrow. The windows don't have mosquito screens.

The Apartment is conveniently located just a short train ride from Florence's historic center and a 4 min walk from Florence rifredi station. This makes it easy to explore the city's many attractions without being right in the hustle and bustle. The apartment is well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The entire place is clean and well-maintained, with a very comfy bed and the kitchenette is perfect for preparing meals for a short stay. The host, Gladys, was incredibly helpful and accommodating. She was always quick to respond to any questions or requests. Overall, this place offers a great value for money. Would we stay here again? Absolutely!

A comfortable bedroom on the mezzanine, a living room with TV and a fully equipped kitchenette, a spacious bathroom with a shower and a washing machine are available to guests. Fast internet via Wi-Fi. Safe, closed parking lot - important if, like us, you travel by car. What more do you need to relax after visiting beautiful Florence and prepare to continue discovering its charms? The apartment is located right next to the railway station, which means you can easily reach the historical center of the city with its greatest monuments by train (this is the simplest and fastest way - only one station). However, the proximity of the station is not at all inconvenient for guests. The owner of the apartment, Gladys, is a very nice and charming person. She takes great care of his guests, although he does it very discreetly and tactfully. She was in constant contact with us via WhatsApp, was interested in how our stay was going, and gave us a lot of valuable information and tips. She was the good spirit of our stay in Florence - thank you very much for that! We will do everything to come back here soon.

The train is easy to use and the station is a very short walk from the property. 6 min train ride to central Florence. The host is very responsive. If you need something, just ask. She also provided several restaurant recommendations in the area. Directions to access the property from the train station are very clear. I would only advise that there is a narrow spiral staircase up to the loft bedroom. The staircase is a bit difficult to navigate.

• Jody (10/5): Lovely stay just in a great location just outside the busyness of Florence. Very friendly host! - The unit was very clean and well appointed. The host was fabulous and friendly. She sent amazingly detailed video instructions for finding and entering the unit which were super helpful. The proximity to the train station was wonderful. The grocery store Lidl is a short walk away (check hours - they close promptly). We felt safe walking there at night and felt safe in the unit. We had a wonderful stay and would stay again if we ever get the chance to return to Florence. Nice hot shower, too. The spiral staircase to the loft bedroom upstairs could be a little tricky, but we managed just fine (there was plenty of room to leave our luggage downstairs).

Prior arrival Gladys sent us video instructions how to reach the apartment which was exceptional, never received such detailed info anywhere else. She was in contact with us (via WhatsApp) during the whole stay making sure we feel like at home. The apartment has a great location close to train station. It's situated on a ground floor but in a quiet street. Plus you can park your car in private parking lot.
• Jeremy (10/5): An excellently located (for the train) apartment with everything we needed for a 3 night stay. - This is a well-appointed apartment with bedroom upstairs and living area on the ground floor. We parked 5 meters from the front door which made access very easy. A nice compact kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor with portable oven, microwave and induction cooker. The stairs are circular and quite tight which would make it difficult for a larger person, especially coming up and down to the toilet at night-time.

• Thy (7/5): Apartment with short distance to the train station but otherwise lacks the feeling of a cosy home - 2-minute walking distance to the train station with connections that take you to the city centre within 25 minutes incl. walking Neighbourhood felt deserted, little people around. It seems the building of the apartment and some of the neighbouring ones are frequently used to rent out to tourists or for office space. The 1-room apartment with mezzanine is located on the ground floor with direct entrance/door (like a shop). Both the door and the window are facing the footpath, where people walk by directly. We therefore didn’t feel at ease to open the windows for ventilation for long. The window blinds were always shut in order to keep privacy and for people to not see into the apartment. That in turn means there’s no natural light coming in.
