• Manuela (1/5): Das Verhalten des Vermieters war respektlos und unprofessionell. Wir würden diese Unterkunft nicht weiterempfehlen - Wir haben bereits im April zwei Nächte im Casa Monti im Apartment mit Dachterrasse gebucht und uns sehr auf den Aufenthalt gefreut. Da wir unseren Aufenthalt in Rom um eine Nacht verlängern wollten, buchten wir direkt beim Vermieter eine zusätzliche Nacht, die laut seiner WhatsApp-Nachricht vor Ort in bar bezahlt werden sollte. Leider begann unser Aufenthalt bereits nach der 1. Nacht unangenehm. Der Vermieter teilte uns per WhatsApp mit, dass wir nach der zweiten Nacht das Apartment wechseln müssten, da angeblich ein Fehler bei booking.com vorliege. Wir machten deutlich, dass wir nicht umziehen wollten, da unsere Zeit in Rom sehr begrenzt war und wir bewusst dieses Apartment mit Dachterrasse gebucht hatten. Daraufhin erschien der Vermieter persönlich, war laut und unfreundlich und bestand darauf, dass wir ausziehen müssen. Am nächsten Morgen wurden wir von seiner Assistentin zum Umzug aufgefordert und in ein Apartment im Untergeschoss gebracht. Dieses hatte keine Fenster, roch feucht und war sehr beengt – die Dusche befand sich direkt vor der Toilette. Das Ersatzapartment war in keiner Weise mit dem ursprünglich gebuchten Apartment vergleichbar.
• Rob (8/5): Goede locatie, ruim appartement maar die badkamer blijft wel een dingetje. - Locatie is dichtbij alle places to see, metro een paar stappen van het appartement maar alles is ook goed te lopen. De badkamer is echt niet te doen! Amper op een normale manier kunnen douchen. Heel mini-mini en dan ook nog met een douchegordijn tegen je aangeplakt en de wc werd nat. Daarbij is het niet mogelijk om even het appartement te luchten, kan geen raam open zetten.

The location is absolutely amazing—set in the heart of Monti, one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Rome. With its charming cobblestone streets, boutique shopping, incredible dining, and lively yet authentic atmosphere, Monti truly captures the essence of the city. The apartment itself felt like essential Rome—stylish, comfortable, and welcoming. The highlight was the incredible rooftop terrace, the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring, with views that make you fall in love with the city all over again. From the moment we arrived, we felt instantly at home and completely relaxed. The location couldn’t have been better—walking distance to all the major historical sites, yet tucked away enough to enjoy the local neighborhood vibe. Special mention to Paolo, who was a fabulous host: kind, accommodating, and always available if we needed anything. His warmth and attention made our stay even more enjoyable. We honestly cannot recommend this place highly enough—it was an unforgettable stay, and we hope to return very soon!

Paulo was very welcoming and checked in on us throughout our stay to make sure all was going well. He also sent us food and drinks recommendations which were greatly appreciated. Shower/toilet the smallest I’ve ever seen 🤣

• Stephen (10/5): Wonderful, it couldn't have been better - We were contacted by Paolo the day before flying. He introduced himself and made the arrangements for meeting us at the property to hand over the keys. Paolo was waiting for us at the apartment on the day of arrival. He showed us around the apartment, gave us some advice on local restaurants. He handed the keys over and left us to settle in. We received a text from him at the satrt of each day of our stay to check all was well. The apartment is first class, clean, comfortable and in a great area of the city. Close enough to all the sights but also tucked away in the quite side streets. We were surrounded by wonderful restaurants and bars, all within a stroll. This apartment also benefited from a beautiful roof terrace for our exclusive use. Just perfect for a quite sundowner or night time glass of vino under the stars. The ONLY downside to this apartment was the stairs leading to the apartment. We were well aware of this before booking as it is clearly stated within the property description. I am in my late sixties and coped quite easily, so dont let this put you off. Think of it as a stairway to heaven :-) Absolutely nothing. Just the minor issue of the stairs.

• Victoria (8/5): Great ground floor stay (tiny bathroom) in centre rome - Great apartment in the centre of Rome, short distance from central station, very quiet at night, aircon, Prosecco on arrival, restaurants, shops, cafes all on the door step. FYI- No outside space & no natural light which we expected. This helps keep the apartment cool which we welcomed due to the high temperatures in Rome. Bathroom is tiny…Never knew you could shower while on the toilet! Ok for 1 or 2 nights but more than that would annoy me. Rest apartment is great though.

Superb location and Paolo our host was fantastic, from arranging taxis to recommending places to eat. Accommodation was great, clean and comfortable. Stairs might not be for old or disabled people but otherwise I would rent the place again.

Perfect location, 10-15 minutes walk to the colloseum, trevi etc. 9 minutes to termini station, from which you can get a shuttle to the airport or metro to vatican. Really a great find. Didn't spend too much time at the apartment as we were busy exploring Rome, but it was lovely, just as the pictures.

• Graziella (7/5): Nice enough but only for people who can handle the 5 flights of stairs easily and who travel with a light bag. - It was very clean and stocked with coffee. Paolo was helpful carrying my suitcase up the stairs. The 5 flights of stairs, especially the last one which is very narrow. Also, there wasn’t a railing to hold. The living room isn’t comfortable, needs a coffee table, a comfier couch and side lamps rather than a ceiling one. Also, there aren’t enough outlets, so couldn’t charge my devices at once.

Close to the Metro station and handy to walk to the city's famous spots.We loved it. The apartment has everything you need, new and clean,lovely patio as well. Very responsive host.
