• Sc&dw (9/5): Lovely apartment in a perfect location - Location is perfect. Loved the convenience of a kitchen and a washing machine. Tons of room to unpack (lots more than we needed.) Mattress is extremely firm. My husband liked that, but me, not so much. The floor hadn't been mopped, it was gritty.

We were unlucky with the air con not working but overall it was a good stay - Location and size was good The air conditioning wasn’t working on the first night. They sorted it the next day but then it didn’t work again on the 3rd day so we only had it for one night it of our stay. The flat was extremely hot without this so it made our stay quite uncomfortable not having this. There was also no body wash / shampoo which from experience is usually supplied in stays. There was also a lot of flies in the kitchen when we arrived.

All was very good. I wouldn’t decrease the rating for this, but is good to know for future customers that there are no doors separating the rooms: bedroom and living room.

Good sized and clean apartment with all modern facilities. The welcome gift of the wine bottle - a Red Toscano was quite a surprise!!

The place had everything you could want - clean, equipped kitchen, nice bathroom, sofa bed was comfortable, even had an iron and ironing board. A little difficult getting in (the code for the lock box was not obvious in the booking.com web site), but someone helped over the phone. Not thrilled with the amount of personal information I had to divulge to rent the place, seeing as how booking.com already had that same information.
• Grow (8/5): Good place in the heart of Florence, would recommend - The location is really great. We like the layout of the apartment and that there was airconditioning. It was very well equipped with what vacationers would need - towels, utensils, pots, pans, etc. The check-in process was quite smooth as well as check out process. Mamo company was really easy to communicate with at all points of me calling them for questions and complaints. I'd recommend this place to friends. The airconditioning could have been better, it took longer for the room to cool down. There were 2 sinks but one was leaking constantly thru the pipe underneath so we just did not use it for the duration of our stay. The main entrance door in ground zero was a bit tricky to open with the key, it did not work every time and we found ourselves spending a few minutes trying to get the hang of unlocking it each time we got home.

• Victoria (8/5): Overall pleasant & pleased - It was a nice lay out, lots of closet space. Oven, stove top, full refrigerator, dishwasher. Bright lighting, two exterior working windows. Nice location. Washer/dryer combo. Dual sinks (could only use one as one was leaking.) Everything is in new-like condition except the sofa (but it was fine/clean.) A few additional items would make things better. Adding a place in the shower for soap, shampoo, conditioner. Adding directions for the washing machine/dryer. Adding directions for the remote controlled air conditioning units. Directions for disposing of garbage. For the kitchen a spatula is needed & directions for European oven (found it online ourselves.) Need a couple of dish towels vs one. Overall it is a very good apartment in a very good location. Called European 1st floor ~ meaning actual 2nd floor. Staircase slightly steep but manageable. 7 min walk to the Duomo, 3 minute walk to the Basilica di Santa Croce, easy walk to many of the wonderful museums. My husband loved the all night pizza stand just around the corner 1 min walk (great for night owls.) €3 a large slice. Great sandwich shop in same location 2 min walk (Pino's w/ gluten free options.) Lots of close restaurants, cafe/bar, gelato, and for those so inclined 2 min walk to 3 star Michelin restaurant. This is a new rental so tweaks will make it superb. Nothing that can't be rectified. Every weekday morning there was lots of construction sounds through the bedroom walls starting around 7/7:30am (perhaps adding a white noise machine for the bedroom. The mattress is very stiff (would be worth investing in a nicer mattress for the price of the unit). We alerted the office about the leaking sink along with an odor. Someone stopped by about the sewage odor (which was disapating by the time they arrived & didn't return thankfully.) The man said he wasn't made aware about the leaking sink and someone would need to come back, no one did and we got by with the single bathroom sink. A safety concern is the front door. In order to use the door the key needs to be in it, used outside to open and turn & inside to lock but needed to reopen the door. If there is a trick we missed they need directions.
