Guest Reviews
- Elena (7/5): A small, compact apartment, very clean, and adequate for the one night. - Excellent location for the theatre’s, Harry Potter and Beetle juice literally on the doorstep.
Lovely staff, easy booking, easy check in and check out. Really nice apartment, small but practical. I was disappointed there was no milk so we couldn’t have a tea or coffee, even though everything else was provided.
Also having to walk up and down two flights of stairs was not ideal.
I feel it was overpriced for one night.
- Jamie (8/5): Brilliant location. Comfortable, clean and tidy. - Location was excellent. It was clean. Neat. And comfortable. Had to wait five minutes or so for hot water to come through. But not too bad.
- Mary (8/5): Great location. The front bedroom was noisy due to street noise but the other two bedrooms were fine - Great communication with host The roadside bedroom was noisy due to traffic etc which is unavoidable so take earplugs. The other two bedrooms were fine.
- Ian (9/5): Everything we were looking for in our London stay 🙂 - The location was fab, literally so close to everything we wanted to see! We wanted mostly to be out and about and the flat was a great base to explore from. A bus stop almost right outside the front door can take you to so much of London 😁. Lots of towels, blankets and all the kitchen stuff we might have needed. Although the stairs were not a problem and we expected them from the property details, they are something to be ready for.
- Jeremy (10/5): - Center of all the action, great location but can be very noisy at night time. We used ear plugs and had no problems. Everything else was great
- Edmond Dorf (8/5): - Very convenient location, clean, friendly.
- Jessica (8/5): Hosts were extremely flexible we were able to check in early and were advised on restaurants. Perfect location! - The location was absolutely perfect for the theatre, the 24 hour M&S opposite was a bonus for essentials. Short walk to Leicester Square and Covent Garden. The property was a little tired in places however the location more than made up for it!
- Kate (10/5): - Squeaky clean, really comfortable beds and incredible location. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend. We had no negative experiences.
- Yvonne (8/5): Fantastic location and spacious for families - Location was fantastic and 24 hrs m&s across the road was great Lots of stairs
- Djordje (9/5): Great stay! - Location. Nothing special.
- Karen (8/5): - Spotlessly clean and warm, fab location for theatre's great value for money. Front bedroom noisy but to be expected due to location.
- BARBARA (6/5): - Emplacement Bruit nocturne : jusqu’à 4 heures du matin
- Aira (10/5): Right in the center of everything, perfect location! - The whole apartment is clean and tiny.
- Daniel (8/5): Wonderful little apartment - Great location and very friendly person who checked us in. Mark and Spenser food directly opposite too so easy to grab some milk or other essentials if needed. Quite a lot of stairs with no lift but wasn't too bad to be fair. Street can be noisy early hours and very late at night but that's to be expected I think
- Alison (10/5): Fantastic stay - Location amazing. It was noisy until about 1am but due to very central location. Did not spoil the stay
- Marie (8/5): - We stayed for one night as we were visiting London to see a show. The location is perfect to explore Central London, the apartment needs some TLC but it's really clean, has everything you need for a city break and the beds are very comfy. The back bedroom is really quiet, considering you're on Shaftesbury Avenue. The front bedroom isn't but that's the flip side of an amazing location! I felt safe there and it's great value for money.
- Maria (9/5): - Building outside looks a little dodge, but the apartment was brilliant The building entrance was dirty and run down. There was nowhere to sit (lounge area) in the apartment itself. As a family we did not have a space to spend time together
- Paul (8/5): -
- Sandra (5/5): -
- Sarah (7/5): Central location - The location was great, very central and close to all theatres, landmarks The entrance and communal.areas, the staircase was scary and very dated.
- Jessica Rose (10/5): - Great location, comfy beds, very clean and tidy. Lovely hosts. Limited social space - no lounge/chill out space other than the bedrooms. There is a small table and chairs in the kitchen, but not the best space to socialise with the group. Other than that, it was perfect!
- Emma (9/5): Fantastic location, Good size rooms, Clean - Host was great, met us on arrival. Very friendly. Accommodation was clean and had everything we needed for our stay.
Location was great for attending the theatre. Having M&S Food across the road was a bonus.
Rooms on the back were quiet. Place to hang out as a group was in the kitchen around the dining table. Not an issue for us as we were out most of the time. But just as a heads up to others booking.
- Tom (10/5): A great stay in soho, with great hosts. - Close to everything & easy to find and communication with the host was brilliant.
- Silvia (9/5): Localização - Localização e colchões Não tinha sofá
- Katie (10/5): Just what we needed. - Communication was great. We were met at the front door and shown around.
The location is amazing, and at the price we thought it was very good value. The communal stairway was needing a bit of tlc but once in the apartment it was clean and homely and had everything we needed. Would definitely book again if visiting central London.
- Dunn-Birch (5/5): Great location but needs updating. - Excellent location, next door to China town. Theatres all within easy walking distance and tube stations within 5 minutes walking distance. Previous reviews state the host was welcoming and early baggage drop off was allowed. We had requested slightly earlier check in which was agreed but when we contacted the host on our arrival she seemed surprised and a little put out that we were early. The apartment is clean but seems quite tired, could do with redecoration.
- de la Fuente (7/5): Aceptable - La ubicación La cama y el wifi
- Catherine (8/5): Excellent. - The location was excellent. Pretty easy to find, 5 mins walk from the tube and a 24 hour M&S Food straight across the road! It was hot, and although there was no air conditioning, there were plenty of fans, and we were able to cool it down enough. Quite a lot of steps to the flat (it's on the second floor).
- Naiobh (9/5): - The location is amazing. Very central and a short walk from Leicester Square tube station through Chinatown very atmospheric. Opposite a 24/7 M&S so easy to pick up supplies. 42 steps up but if you know you know so if you have mobility issues it's not for you. Very hot weather but there are multiple fans in each room. All beds comfy we all slept well. It is a busy street but we knew this and it didn't bother us. Instant hot water which was needed for 5 adults getting ready. It was great we could drop our bags earlier than check in & Ms Yang was there in 10 minutes. Plenty of towels and washing liquid, hand soap , shower gel and shampoo all provided. Anyone who loves pizza should try Breadstall it's 5-7 min walk and tasted fantastic . Also super handy if you are going to a show. It's 7 minutes walk from trafalgar square, Leicester square and covent garden few mins walk.
Would 100% recommend and stay again. Like others have said it could do with some TLC especially front bedroom. The only other gripe was only getting one key which made things tricky when heading to different places even a key box would help.
- Karen (8/5): Excellent location. - Brilliant location, clean and well equipped. Friendly owner.
Right on the edge of Soho and China town. Some of the major theatres literally 2 mins away on rhe same street. Covent Garden, Leicester square, and Theatre land all with 15 mins walk from the apartment. The apartment was on a very noisy street, which didn't settle until the early hours of the morning. Had to have the windows open as was a very hot night, so sleeping not easy.
Sheets and towels not hotel standards but were clean and adequate.
Quite steep stairs to get to the apartment and 2 flights of them...no lift.i
- Roshiel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paula (8/5): Very good - The apartment was in a fantastic location, minutes from lots of big attractions in London and a great base to explore.
Ideally located close to shops for supplies and tune station around the corner. Very helpfully we were able to drop off our bags on arrival. There is no sitting area. So unable to sit as a group aside from the kitchen table which wasn't overly comfortable.
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christine (6/5): Pleasant - Location
- William (10/5): Wonderful experience . Owner very helpful retrieving bag in a taxi. - Great Location and safe area. TV not working.
- Lee (8/5): Very good - Location excellent, 3 bedrooms and everything you needed Bit noisy at the front bedroom and curtain wouldn't draw all the way so it wasnt as dark as it should be , main double bed bit uncomfortable
- Lesley (8/5): Great location . Property needs an overhaul but was comfortable enough for one night . - Location . Light and airy It needs some care and attention - looks very tired. Curtain in main bedroom needs replacing - old and tatty and falling down off the rail. Tap in bathroom doesn’t turn off .
Towels and pillows need replacing.
- Charlotte (7/5): Ideal location - Location Gaining entry not obvious and had to call host and wait for key entry…. stairs very steep but ok ….
- Loveday (7/5): Wonderful location and ideal for solo, friends and families - Communication prior to arrival was very good.
Easy to locate the entrance to the building and contact to get the keys. Keys are then via key fob for the front door and single key to the door for the apartment.
The apartment is located on the second floor up some steep spiral type stairs which is made very clear prior to arrival.
First entry is into the spacious hallway with the first room from here being the kitchen which is a good size with a table and 4 chairs.
The main bedroom is next to the kitchen and is a large room at the front of the property. A good size bed with two additional chairs and a good size desk with light and chair. There is one large curtain which is a little dated. Great storage in this room.
The single bedroom looked a good size as was the rear double bedroom.
All had good storage.
Nice size bathroom with a walk in shower.
The decor is a little dated but size wise very good and the location is simply wonderful with a Simply M&S directly opposite. I went to His Majesty’s Theatre and was on my own and felt safe and it was not far at all. Just a bit dated but I would certainly stay again due to the wonderful location and was ideal for a theatre trip
- Lawrence (10/5): Exceptional - Location is truly superb Complete and homely. Nice to be in the centre on London but not in a soulless hotel
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kimberly (10/5): Perfect place to stay in the heart of London! - What a little gem of an apartment this is.
We stayed for one night as we were going to the theatre. The property was a 3 minute walk from the Cursed child.
So, at half time, we were able to pop back to the apartment and have our goodies for lunch, which we picked up from M&S right opposite the property.
The owner allowed us to drop off our bags early, which was such a bonus.
It's just perfect for a few nights to stay here and right in the heart of China Town, which has the most fabulous eateries.
I can't recommend this place highly enough and for the price compared to other apartments it's a no-brainer!! Just to say, there are a few steps to go up to the apartment, but it's very doable. 3 OAPs and a 36-year-old..
- Smith (10/5): Great location and clean apartment - Good location. Nice sized rooms. Steep stairs but was helpfully warned about those and could have had more modern furnishings.
- Lucy (8/5): Overnight accommodation for the theatre. Self catered if needed - Great location.
3 beds and a kitchen was perfect for our needs for an overnight in Town!
Lovely host and handover
Would definitely use this accommodation again when I'm next in Town No general sitt8ng room - but for that price and in that location, no problem!
- Ian (6/5): Pleasant - Good location State of building that the apartment was in..No TV although after looking in facilities it's does not say that a TV is provided
- Jonathon (8/5): London Appartment - The location was perfect for our stay, the booking and organising to get the keys was amazing. We managed to get in early with no issues and it was easy to get to.
I would definitely stay here again in the future. We had to put the heaters on in the evening but it was an older flat so wasn't an issue, especially when they supplied them.
- Josh (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, lovely host and exactly what we needed. Thanks!
- Natalie (8/5): Great location - Great location, right opposite m&S food so could stock up. Within walking distance of theatre and tube. Well presented flat, lovely host. the front bedroom was noisy at night
could do with a full length mirror
but no major complaints, is a lovely flat. .
- Lily (7/5): Good - We had a great stay here. The location of the apartment is fantastic! Right in the middle of SoHo, China Town next door and lots of other places nearby. A wee bit loud at night but nothing too bad. There was no couch only a small table to sit down. It was old and needed some maintenance but great value for the location.
- Emma (10/5): Perfect location, clean, comfy and the staff were so helpful and welcoming. - Great location, right in the centre but couldn’t believe how quiet it was at night - it was brilliant! Apartment was really clean and comfortable too!
- Trevor (4/5): Not 5 star but perfectly adequate. Great location. Great hosts -would definitely use again. - The location is very central and excellent access to everywhere we wanted to go. It wasnt as noisy as expected for that area.
Hosts were very helpful and accomodating The only dissapointing bit was very unfortunate. just prior to our arrival there was a fairly severe water leak coming through the ceiling of the apartment. This was believed to be coming through the floor of the apartment above and caused by a faulty gutter in the very heavy rain. Therefore the hosts were in no way to blame and did everything they could possibly do to help.
- Dominic (7/5): Worked very well for our requirements - Location
Facilities Low spec
Lack of light
