- Leanne (3/5): Dirty, unkempt, not recommended - The house was big enough for 4 people to share for a business trip to Avalon Air Show.
The garage meant the rental car was secure.
It was a large house so we all had plenty of space. - The house is not as advertised (there is no lake view)
- The electrics are faulty and on 3 days we lost lighting upstairs on dark mornings when people were in the shower.
- Neither the heating nor the air conditioning worked, which we reported and it was not fixed within the week.
- The dishwasher did not clean anything as it has not been well-maintained. This was fixed on day 6.
- The shower hose in the master bathroom was broken and spewing water everywhere during showers, and was fixed during the week.
- The TV did not work, not the remote controls.
- The management company need to check the work of the cleaning company as many of the common areas of the house were utterly filthy.
- The crockery and cutlery were all dirty, heavily chipped, old, and there were not enough mugs.
- The cooking pans were dirty, probably because the dishwasher did not work properly and no-one bothered to check if they were clean when putting them back into the dirty kitchen cupboards. I had to wash everything before I could cook.
- The windows look like they have not been cleaned in years.
- There are cobwebs in all the rooms; not the small spider kind. The kind that shows that no cleaning has been done. These cobwebs bunch up into clumps and hang from the walls.
- The outside table was think with dirt and obviously not cleaned in months. Half of the cushions for the chairs were covered in bird poo.
- There was no bath mats left in 2 bathrooms.
- The place was large but had a sparse, unkempt and 'basic' feel to it.
Very embarrassing for the booker in our team, and unimpressive for the Austrian and the Czech Gentlemen who came to do business at Avalon.
- Ziling (1/5): The worst stay I’ve ever had—dirty, poorly maintained, and a terrible experience overall. - The house has good quality American-style furniture. The cleanliness was terrible—dust covered the furniture, stairs, baseboards, and windows. After I reported, they asked a cleanser to come and wipe and vacuum the dust but not including the windows and blinds. The air conditioner was broken, the lighting was dim, and the TV was too outdated, with a remote control battery that had corroded. On the first night, the washing machine’s drainage pipe leaked, flooding the floor, and we had to spend more than a hour to mop it ourselves. It leaked again due to a loose connection after a few days. There were frequent power outages on the second floor, likely due to a faulty bathroom switch. Despite reporting these issues, the responses and follow up action were unsatisfactory. Additionally, the deposit, which was supposed to be refunded in 3-5 business days, was only returned after 8 business days and multiple phone calls.

found all cups plates cutlerys etc...in the dishwashing machine on Friday night ☹️

- Lisiua (9/5): House is beautiful. Big, spacious & lovely furniture just gutted we couldn’t use the washing machine - Furniture was immaculate. It was spacious & central to everything. Was very convenient The washing machine was leaking. We mopped it a few times however was still leaking.
