The property is nice, old fashioned, heritage style, the rooms were ok and clean, just like on the photos. Breakfast was really good and plenty. The biggest advantage is the staff. The owner Donna Sonia was really nice, took care of everything, treated us like family, other staff members, Hector and the girls looked after us and were really helpful. It can get a little cold in the rooms but they give you extra blankets

La finca was close to everything and Sonia made sure that everything that we could ever need an answer for was answered. Suggestions on places to go , Filandia, Salento, Quindio, Coffee tours, places to eat and a genuine caring for every experience we had. La finca was clean and beautiful and I would recommend this to anyone coming for an enchanting visit. Whether it is your first time in the country or you live here , I cannot recommend this amazing place enough. When I say how happy I am with our stay, I believe it is an understatement. I don't have the words to express my gratitude for Sonia and everyone at la Finca. There was not one thing that I could possibly say negatively about our stay. My wife and I are over the moon and when we return we will be calling Sonia first. Don't wait, book here immediately and you will feel like a part of the family. I truly believe I have family here after 2 days staying. THIS is how you run a business. This was a very quick trip for my wife and I. I am from USA and my wife is from Colombia and it was both of our first times in Quindio. We are filled with love and gratitude for our stay. If we could stay longer, trust and believe that we would. We will be sad to return back to the real world of work and all of the responsibilities that we encounter but I will remember these two days fondly forever. The owner, Sonia, is an absolute gem—she welcomes you like you’re part of her family, which makes the whole experience feel incredibly homely. On the evening we arrived, Sonia hosted a little cheese and wine gathering for all the guests, and we spent the evening chatting in her sitting room, feeling utterly at home. She even gave us a brand new bedroom—it was the first time anyone had stayed in it—and it was absolutely lovely. The finca itself is a charming, traditional Colombian farmhouse, family-run, and full of character. Sonia makes her own cheese and butter, and breakfast is a homemade feast with fresh ingredients straight from the farm. You’ll find hens, goats, horses, parrots, and even a cow on the finca, all adding to that warm, rustic atmosphere. It’s a perfect place if you’re looking for a genuine, down-to-earth, and utterly charming Colombian experience. We couldn’t have felt more looked after or more at home, and I can’t recommend it enough if you want a cosy, farm-style stay with a truly personal touch.

Morgens erwartet einen ein herrliches Frühstück mit einer Bowl voller frischer Früchte, selbstgemachtem Käse und Marmelade und abends, wenn es sich ergibt, ein Abend mit Käse und Wein am Kamin. Man muss sich bewusst sein, dass die Finca etwas außerhalb liegt, aber mit Uber ist das ja heutzutage kein Problem mehr.

One of the biggest highlights for me was how pet-friendly they are. Sonia and her team were so kind to my dog, treating her as if she were their own. The homemade breakfast was delicious, the ambiance serene, and every moment there felt like a retreat from the modern world. I absolutely loved my stay and can’t wait to return. We voelden ons meteen thuis en zij hielpen ons met het organiseren van onze dagen, waaronder excursies naar een koffie- en een cacaoplantage. Het ontbijt, met heerlijk fruit en producten van eigen makelij, stond iedere ochtend buiten voor ons klaar. Sonia hielp ons graag met het oplossen van enkele problemen.

Sonya is such a kind and thoughtful host, and her warmth truly made the experience special! She instantly made us feel like her family. Finca has such a calm, peaceful energy, surrounded by nature and filled with the sounds of birds and rustling trees. Mornings were our favourite—waking up to a delicious homemade breakfast and the chatter of the parrots. The food was full of flavour and made with so much love! The dogs roaming the property made us feel even more at home. Only 30 mins from Cocora Valley and a few restaurants and cafes around if you want a change! It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel relaxed and connected. We didn’t want to leave!

Our host, Sonia was extremely welcoming, gladly attending to all our needs and booking trips and excursions. The rooms themselves were comfortable, and the decor of the finca spoke of it's long history, something which Sonia was proud to share. We began each day with a delicious breakfast, which consisted of homemade ghee, jam, cheese and bread as well as fruit and double yoked eggs from the farm, as well as a special surprise of delicious homemade empanadas on our last day. Sonia and her team's hospitality and hard work made the experience extremely unique and enjoyable, and we would love to return in the future.

My daughter later told me, "Sonia is like my Columbian Grandmother. I love staying with her". I understand that we traveled during the cool season, but some chairs by the pool would have been a nice touch to allow us to sit in the sun.

• William (10/5): Best second home at Quindio - We enjoyed staying at this Farm since it's a very pleasant place, the host is super friendly, welcoming and a great guide who recommended us good restaurants around the area, things to do and helped make our stay like at home. She also ensured that our rooms were comfortable for each of us, made our breakfast very special with her own recipe of feijoa and sesame seeds jam the first morning along with fresh farm-made cheese, the blueberry jam with ghee butter, fresh-made bread and the spectacular feijoa guava juice the second morning. The breakfast is very filling, they served us two double-yolk eggs every morning, coffee, milk, cheese, juice, jam, and butter. The farm is very relaxing and nicely decorated. We felt very well-treated and definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience tranquility, feel at home and interact with the friendly people of Quindio.

De warmte en positieve energie zijn onuitputtelijk en zorgen voor een zorgeloos verblijf in de accommodatie en voor een geweldige beleving van de omgeving. De finca is wat ouder, maar dat is juist de charme . Een fantastische plek, heerlijk vers en gezond ontbijt en op de vertrekdag zelfs huisgemaakte empanadas.
• Nelson C. (10/5): A home away from home - If you are comparing your options right now, stop and book this one! You will not regret it, promise! We chose to stay at „La Adelita“ after reading all these amazing reviews that seem almost too good to be true but now we know they are true!! We really wanted an authentic stay and this is as authentic as it gets. 💯 Sonia, the host, was like a mum, taking care of us so warmly, making us feel like being at a home away from home. We arrived and started our stay straight away with nice conversations and wine in front of the fireplace in her cozy shared living room. She made sure that we could make the most of the two days we had in the area, borrowing us cash, organizing rides, booking tickets for us, giving us recommendations, lending us water bottles for the day, even helping us out with medication, like a mum helping with whatever we needed. 💕 One night we came back at night, and she offered us a delicious Colombian dinner for free - a soup called „Ajiaco“ - it was heavenly and we enjoyed together with wine and other guests! 😍 uhhh and talking about delicious food… the breakfast is super super delicious as well with home-made products, like fresh fig and berry jam, their own butter, freshly baked bread, eggs as you want them, freshly pressed orange juice, coffee or tea from the own garden. Best way to start the day! And finally the Finca itself - „La Adelita“ is super beautifully decorated and you feel just like in the Encanto movie. The room had everything we needed, a big shower with hot water, a big bed, storage space, and opening the window we could see the farms birds. We could also refill our water bottles with filtered water any time we wanted and our room was serviced daily. Really, the only problem was, that we didn’t stay long enough (make sure to stay longer than 2 days in the area and with Sonia). But, we already said, we will be back! Muchas Gracias Sonia and Family for welcoming us so warmly and giving us a Colombian home! 💛💙♥️ It was a very short stay.

La anfitriona, Sonia, es una persona muy atenta y resolutiva. Siempre dispuesta a ayudar y resolver cualquier problema. A nosotros nos ayudó con los pasajes de buses internos y nos consiguió un tour cafetero a pesar de que estaba agotado. Es extremadamente atenta. Gracias por todo Sonia! La habitación que nos tocó a diferencia de otros comentarios en otros hospedajes, es insonora, lo que permite un buen descanso. La cama es cómoda y el baño es amplio. El lugar es muy limpio y realizan servicio a la habitación diariamente. Finalmente nos quedamos más noches y estuvimos super cómodos. La habitación que nos tocó era húmeda, se entiende que es un problema de la zona en general, pero tenía ventanas muy chicas y no se podía ventilar. De todas formas, cuando se lo planteamos a Sonia, conectó un aparato que saca la humedad. La ubicación es buena ya que está en el medio de los dos pueblos más importantes de la zona (Filandia y Salento) pero el entorno no invita a pasear o recorrerlo. Estás cosas "malas" que puede tener se compensan con la gran atención y calidad humana del personal y Sonia.
