• O'Brien (8/5): Was great, would come again and recommend. - Inside was lovely, so was back veranda entertaining area, well equipped for large groups, interesting ornaments/artefacts like old lamps and shell macrame. Comply beds. Outside "garden" area front & back, front entrance steps.

• Patricia (8/5): Great facilities, location and beach holiday feel - Lots of room for the kids to play outside. They loved the Lego. Kitchen was really well stocked, even a rice cooker, slow cooker, sandwich maker. Short walk to the beach. Bed was comfortable One toilet for 9 people and the bathroom/toilet logistic was difficult at times.

• Daphne (7/5): Comfortable - Good location. Not far from the beach, shops or park. Beds were very comfortable and I have a bad back, with no issues. Unfortunately the backyard fence was in poor condition in a few spots. If you have a real Houdini dog you might want to check with owner. Our dogs stayed in but they aren’t escape artists

• Lina (9/5): Great beach cottage style stay, excellent and prompt communication Thankyou. - Location, all the basics were there just bring food and clothes. Excellent communication from owner. Heating and hot shower were great. Just a few small things. Some of the lamps were not connected to extension leads, so were not useable, doona in one room and tea towels were clean but had permanent staining.

• Karleeemma (1/5): prepare to get ripped off - it was nice enough the owner will text you on the day and make no contact prior, tell you to get further cash out, tells you where and atm is, and leave it on the fridge. extremely unprofessional and booking.com advised us not to pay it!!!!
• Scott (8/5): Would stay again but needs to be cleaned a bit better. - Nicely setup and has everything you need. Had lots of ants in the kitchen area. Shower hadn’t been cleaned and has someone’s old soap with hairs all over it

He saw it was a NZ number so didn't answer. It was 8pm so had to use light from mobile phones. We were on the verge of leaving to look for motel accommodation.

• Martin (6/5): Pleasant - Great location, close to shops and beach, nice deck, lots of space in the backyard. Great that we could have our dog there. Sheets, toilet paper, and tea towels provided which was good. House and outdoors is a bit run down, definitely more like a beach shack. There were ants in kitchen, a very uncomfortable bed in 1 room with a broken blind so that room is unusable, shower head was loose and kept falling down.

• Bonnie (8/5): Traditional Beach Shack, CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE! A MUST STAY! - LOVE THIS PLACE! it really feels like home away from home! VERY CLEAN and well maintained, but also has not succumb to the pressures of "updating to 5 star resort" and kept it a traditional beach shack, yet clean, comfortable, everything you could need for your use. The house and yard are perfect for small or large families or groups. The outdoor area is great all year round, and the settings are comfy and plenty. Close to amenities and right around the corner from the beach! Will definitely be back. Room for kids and parents to have their own time too. Great you can bring pets and they're safe and secure. Ummm if I had to choose something, I would say, ummmm, shame it's only one toilet, but seriously not an issue lol 😆
