Guest Reviews
- Karen (8/5): - It was very comfortable and quiet
- Oliver (10/5): -
- Kevin (9/5): Peaceful basic cute little cabin in nature - Clean and lively little cabin There was a generator behind it however this was ok as it drowned any random noises through the night from other nearby cabins yet you could still hear the wildlife
- Ryan (8/5): -
- Thomas (10/5): -
- Lisa (10/5): -
- Kylie (7/5): Really enjoyed this place and accommodation for your dog - Toilets were great with no smell. Only one shower was working and there was no one was available to take msgs or contact you back.
- Peter (2/5): Average - Got lake view room no lake just pond not worth the money misleading.
- Anna (7/5): Comfy stay, at one with nature - Beautiful setting, great bed, kitchen area. AC works well. Nature sounds outside at night Had to walk down the path to the toilet block which had a lot of flies. It is an eco resort so expect bugs! We had a couple huntsmen in our cabin.
- Nicholas (8/5): Nice chill stay with everything you need - Cabins are nice and comfortable. Location is good. Free parking. Nice chill vibe Hard to contact staff before arrival, if you arrive late you just take any available cabin. Which is explained on a white board when you arrive. Kitchen/ communal area was dirty and needs more daily maintenance.
- Julie (5/5): The cabin was reasonable at the price point we paid. - Very peaceful, overlooked banana trees, lots of bird calls. We had a power outage during late afternoon. I contacted the number on booking.com and Matty replied straight away and fixed the problem, thanks. Amenities were sparce in the cabin. We had to go to the communal kitchen for cups, and extra glass, bowls and cutlery. Toilet paper in the shared bathroom ran out but was replenished in the morning.
- Aidan (1/5): -
- Vicki (7/5): Good one night stay. Close to town by car - Quiet, clean. Loved the shower No fly screens in door. No walking lights on boardwalk to toilet to see where you are going in the dark.
- Christopher (8/5): Was such a peaceful stay here. Would highly recommend. Basic amenities as expected but I could not fault it. - Very peaceful and secluded. Was a great night Nothing
- Leandra (7/5): -
- Paolo (6/5): Weekend in Byron Bay - Price was fair and the concept of eco sustainability was remarkable Lack of staff and comunication, talking with somebody seems impossible, we tried to call the number provided several time but had no response at all.
The cabin also wasn't very clean
- Paul (1/5): Very shitty and short. - They cancelled my booking, after I had arrived. Turned out to be a bonus…wasn’t like the pictures at all.
I like getting a refund.
I didn’t like wasting my time and fuel on transport. Driving all the way from Brisbane, only to have my booking cancelled after I arrived.
I tried to ring them, but they didn’t answer.
I’ve tried ringing them several times and they have never returned my calls. Choosing instead, to text and blame booking.com

- Ka kwan (10/5): -
- Ray (6/5): - Double bed and small cabinet and face wash sink Toilet was public.big cabin needs private toilet.
- beth (4/5): Could have been lovely but dirty bedding and cabin and not very secure and no contactable staff - Comfy bed and lovely warm shower but that’s really the only positive Have stayed in many eco lodges prior but sadly this wasn’t great. Turned up and only received the lodge name after the check in time. The lodge name wasn’t signposted so we weren’t clear which we were in and with no staff or reception area. The number listed nobody responds to, attempted to message via booking.com and also through WhatsApp message and phone call with no answer. The lodge was comfortable but very dirty, cobwebs everywhere and dead flies in the cupboards with the crockery and the sheets smelt as though someone had already slept in them. When we returned after dinner the lock didn’t work so we couldn’t get in, it’s not a traditional key lock it was a thin metal wire and which unlocked with a code which didn’t work. Couldn’t contact the property owners once again and in the rain took 20 minutes to get in. As a result we left the cabin unlocked for the remainder of our trip. It could have been lovely if clean and if there were any contactable staff!

- Katrina (10/5): Relaxing retreat for a quiet escape in nature - Beautiful setting, friendly staff, gorgeous welcome from the Village dog, very clean and quiet.
- David (8/5): A peaceful getaway in nature. - Loved the location, great place to relax. Was all good.
- Chanel (1/5): -
- Carina (10/5): Super!!! - Alles!
- Thomas (10/5): Pleasantly impressed - Really liked it, if you like new experiences, this is the place for you. Everything is self reliant, but that’s quite easy.
There’s a kitchen and bathroom that everyone shares, and you will see the number of your cabin on a notice board in the kitchen.
Everyone is friendly and eager to explain.
Cabin is bigger then expected! Very big actually. We could stand up right and move freely.
Beds are comfortable and there are games to play.
There’s no internet, but that’s the whole point. The toilets

- Gustavo (10/5): -
- Ella (9/5): Beautiful, environmentally conscious living - Beautiful location
- Carolina (5/5): - The room was clean. It is small, but it is perfect for sleeping. The staff was very kind. There is no plumbing, so there is a toilet but it has a hole inside and you have to cover your waste with sawdust, like cats. The smell is horrible and it is full of flies. We understand that it is an eco village, but they could have a rainwater collection system. Honestly, that experience is what made the stay unpleasant. We paid for two nights but only stayed one; we preferred to go somewhere else because none of us was able to use the bathroom.
- Sarah (8/5): Unique stay near Byron Bay - I loved the cozy trailer! It was perfect for me on my own, had adequate outlets and lighting, plus a great little patio set outside to sit and look at the stars in the evening. I found the bed to be cozy and everything was very clean and well presented. Access to the kitchen and shared spaces was good as well, and the refrigerator had set spaces for each unit to store their things. We just had a one night stay and it met our needs perfectly. Chill vibes, had no need to contact the host, but we had all the contact info if we did. I also read the description thoroughly to know what I was getting into as this is a very unique stay that is definitely not for everyone. Next time if traveling with my partner I'd go for the bigger unit that has AC and more space for us both. Some games in the common room would be good, though I ended up finding some later in my trailer. Maybe some dim lights along the boardwalk path as it's so dark out there. Can be a little noisy at night from the large hostel down the road, I didn't mind this, and their music stopped at midnight. It was a Friday night afterall!
- Jacqui (10/5): Really enjoyed to staying, hippy friendly staffs in kitchen, good views, all, nice shower outsdoor, sauna, good experi - Very nice village and so cute hippy caravan None
- Dan (8/5): Great value for money - Location is good, walkable to centre of town. Room had everything we needed at a very fair price. An extra outdoor seat for the big cabin would be good.
- ALEXANDER (10/5): -
- Mariana (9/5): -
- Kevin (10/5): - I’m Greatfull of Maddie, she helped me for every thing. I was a lovely passed time here. It’s nice place
- Jack (10/5): - Really good location, short walk into town, peaceful and quiet, clean, comfortable
- EMANUELE (7/5): -
- Benjamin (1/5): - Not what me and my partner where expecting was dirty hot was not what I payed for never go back there
- Long (9/5): Very comfortable and grounding, couldn't recommend it enough for a restorative stay in nature. - It was the most magical stay - very comfortable and grounding, couldn't recommend it enough for a restorative, eco conscious and fun experience. Will be back! The outdoor eco toilets are always a little adjustment, especially if the lids aren't always closed when you enter - but overall that didn't impact the experience too much.
- Jamss (10/5): Chilled - Great , host was amazing Relaxing
- Victor (10/5): -
- Kate (9/5): Brilliant bush experience! - I loved the bush feel, the stationary camper van and outdoor shower. Feels like a really unique clamping experience. Waking up to the sounds of the Aussie bush was incredible! The 20 min walk into town is also very doable.
- Siby (6/5): -
- Lukas (5/5): -
- Nick (10/5): -
- Tomas (9/5): -
- Brian (7/5): -
- Wing (7/5): -
- Catherine (7/5): Concept sympa.
- Klajdi (4/5): -
- Sophie (10/5): - Staff were so lovely and helpful! It was so chill, clean and such a nice place to stay. Such good value for money and would love to return
- Nathalie (6/5): -
- Monika (7/5): -
- Matthew (10/5): Just absolutely lovely - Close the town and in nature, good price and good staff Loved everything
- Nico (10/5): -
- Shaniah (10/5): - My stay was just what I needed to unplug and relax. Cute little cabins, integrated with nature. You can actually see the stars at night and rise to the sounds of birds. Slept sooo well. Will be my new choice of stay when I need to recharge.
- Maria (10/5): - Feels away from the crowd even though is near the town. It’s such a peaceful place. I couldn’t tell anything at all! Our stay was great, we really enjoyed it.
- Sharon (1/5): Poor. - The accommodation had no power or lights, broken windows and no roof ventilation.
- Matthew (10/5): A great getaway I would definitely stay again, 10 out of 10 - Beautiful property, great location fantastic Staff. Awesome to have something in Byron Bay which is affordable and holistic. Nothing I absolutely loved it, it’s a hidden gem in the centre of Byron Bay
- Kim (10/5): Peaceful stay in nature. Perfect for outdoorsy travelers. - A very peaceful stay in nature! It was a comfortable, glamping / camping experience with a short distance into town. The on-sight staff were very helpful and friendly. I’d recommend this to nature-loving, outdoorsy people who are comfortable with a more off-grid experience / rural living. It had a lovely shared kitchen, sauna, and the compost toilets reminded me of camping. The goats were a huge plus too! I’d love if the little cabins could have mirrors for getting ready in the morning.
- Matthew (3/5): - Location. Shared common area is beautiful. Everything is just dirty and poorly maintained. Latches on our cabin door didn’t work and tears in our fly screen. Incredibly noisy fans that are covered in dust. Ants all throughout the cabin. The shared area needs a vacuum and a clean. Could be a great place with more maintenance and cleaning.
- Marta (5/5): -
- Jorge (3/5): Disappointed - Property is very well located and at night you can hear the nature, beautiful. If you are going in summer, I wouldn’t book this accommodation. They mentioned fans in the cabin, however, the ceiling fan doesn’t work and the one mounted in the wall is very small and very loud, impossible to sleep with it.
The mosquito nest was broken, so I got plenty of mosquitos inside the cabin.
Its mention the facility of spa, however, everything is closed or no turned on so there is not point having them, unless you got time to turn it on or ask how they work.
One of the window was broken in my cabin.
The toilet inside the kitchen which it is mentioned on the video they shared is out of order.
There are several things that it’s mentioned on this property to be available or in working order but then when you arrive it’s not, so it feels a bit like scam and no worth the money paid.
- Jason (9/5): I needed a place for 2 nights in peak holiday time and found this little gem , about 2min drive from the cbd but you’d t - The location and its cosiness
- Kyung MEE (1/5): Incorrect room description, there was no sofa bed - Location The description was incorrect. We booked for three adults, but there was a queen bed and an old sofa. Sleeping in a queen bed was extremely uncomfortable for three people. It rained so heavily, the sound of the rain hitting the colourbond roof was so loud it was practically impossible to sleep. The room was extremely dirty and had not been cleaned. The windowsills were covered in dust, and there were spider webs everywhere. The area next to the room was swampy, and the foul odor made it impossible to open the window. Furthermore, despite booking for three, there were no extra blankets. I had a nightmare evening.
- Krystal (8/5): Would definitely stay again - Cool unique place, great location A sensor light outside our caravan kept turning on and off throughout the whole night shining into the room.
- Mikala (10/5): Fantastic off grid hideaway cabins - I love how the property is off grid. The rainwater outdoor shower was my favourite. Our cabin was neat and tidy. There was power points and USB ports. There was a lovely breeze at night. The staff were really friendly. We will definitely be back!
- Glen (7/5): -
- Chloe (10/5): -
- Olive (7/5): -
- Josie (10/5): A very cute wooden caravan, comfy bed, loved the nature (baby frogs hopping about- so cute!) relaxing area and close to - I loved the peaceful feel of it, rain water showers, open windows on the ceiling of showers so u can see the sky above !! Amazing sauna! Kind & welcoming helpful staff Needed a mirror in the caravan.
Just a suggestion - get a foot-Pedal push bin for the kitchen so don’t have to keep removing the big lid of the bin (espesh during cooking) as this can be a bit frustrating
- shelley (5/5): - Location was beautiful. Compost toilet. No instructions. Flushing toilet out if order. No sugar or Milk for guests. No wine glasses or normal glasses.. hole in fly screen in cabin 1 allowing bugs inside. Shade sale should cover decking. Very sunburnt. Could be amazing. Not discrimination to the property and definitely not looking for refund. It is what was described 🙏❤️
- LeBuhn (10/5): A cutie oasis with everything you need to feel right at home. - Beautiful site! Check in was easy, cute cozy cabins, and great amenities. Obsessed with the showers, spacious and you feel immersed in nature. Had wifi and parking and everything we needed. Would absolutely stay again.
- jane (2/5): Terrible - Really, nothing Very substandard. Bad bed, no working electrical outlet, no verntilation toilets and showers NOT near the room (booking.com did not accurately represent this), toilets were absolutely disgusting (“bush” toilets that don’t flush but stink) Just substandard in every way possible.
- Pauline (10/5): -
- Lobke (6/5): Has great potential! Great location and vibes, but technical issues. - The location, atmosphere, main house and cabins were great. Would definitely come back for these things. Also the staff I met was friendly :) Unfortunately the water taps and showers didn’t work for two nights, which apparently was due to a clogged pump. Also communication through Booking was not successful, so recommend having contact via phone.
- Scott (8/5): Good spot , no dramas. Slightly bigger sign off the road outside of that Iliked it Nice n rustic - Value for money. Allow well behaved dogs and owners to stay. They leave you alone. They've done a great wee thing I say.
- Jayne (10/5): Tranquil & relaxing - I loved my stay, the setting was stunning, the caravan so cute, it was relaxing and comfortable. Would highly recommend. Nothing
- Denis (7/5): - The vibe,relaxed and laid back . Nothing.
- Koen (6/5): -
- Micaela (9/5): - Loved the cabin and the showers with hot water!
- Shannon (8/5): Hidden treasure - I arrived at the property before check in time but my pod was already ready. The staff were so welcoming and sent me a video explaining where everything was before I arrived. The shower water was incredible!! My skin felt so soft after. I liked that the tap water was also from tee tree and natural surrounding areas. The pod itself felt nice and private, stayed cool all night and the bed was really comfy. Would definitely stay again! Maybe needed a mirror in the pod but everything else was exactly as shown in the photos and I was very pleased with my stay.
