Guest Reviews
- Bruno (9/5): House is pretty, bathroom is very nice and host is sweet - The host was the sweetest and it was really comfy, organized und clean. No complains :)
- Karime (10/5): Estuve casi 3 semanas y fue todo genial - La casa al completo fue perfecta, super bien equipada, baños y habitaciones limpias. Y además muy buena conexión de buses al centro. Todo perfecto
- Ar.gm007 (10/5): - Kate and her husband are wonderful people and made me feel very comfortable. I highly recommend this place to stay in Dublin. The only downside was the public transport disruptions, which made it take longer than usual and required quite a walk to get there. It has an excellent location just outside Dublin city center, a quiet and pleasant place, 30-40 minutes from Temple Bar and the city center. It's well-served by bus; the stop is about 50 meters away, making it easy to get to the city center and Dublin Airport. Nothing relevant, the only potential drawback is the shower schedule, which you have to agree on with them. In my case, I agreed that I could shower later due to the situation in Dublin. Yes, they do have set shower times, which could be a problem, but being as kind as they are, it's just a matter of arranging it beforehand. Because, as we know, the life of a traveler involves time—that is, getting up early and showering late.
- Asun (9/5): Casa perfecta - La tranquilidad y el silencio de la casa Nada
- pauline (10/5): EXCELLENT STAY, VERY CONVENIENT & ORGANISED HOUSEHOLD - ROOM WAS LARGE AND BRIGHT COBWEBS, DIFFICULTY FINDING; MIGHT NEED A SIGN AT ENTRANCE ONTO ROAD

- Elza (10/5): - Great location right next to the bus stop and also easy to get food as there are supermarkets nearby. It was possible to use the kitchen and the microwave which was nice. Really beautiful home and great host.
- No name (8/5): Home from home near Dublin - The accommodation is conveniently close to the bus route between Dun Loaghaire and Dublin City. It is certainly secure - not that I ever felt at risk! The room, bathroom etc. are all kept very clean. The kitchen is well-stocked but it can take time to find where things are located. The host family are very nice and amenable to having guests in their home. I was lucky enough to have a sunny afternoon and enjoy sitting in the lovely garden at the back of the house. If you arrive at night and pouring rain (as I did), head down the unlit driveway next to 113 and you will see a closed gate that the host needs to unlock for you. It wasn't easy to find. The hosts are very pleasant, but I was always aware that I was in someone else's home and needed to conform to their expectations and keep the noise down. That suits some people more than others. As the kitchen is shared, I didn't know clearly what I could use and what I should not help myself to (I was tempted by cans of Guinness in the fridge!). To be honest, the bus journey into Dublin is quite long (ca. 45 minutes) but it would be easy with a private car.
- Michael (9/5): Nice, clean & proper room. - Very clean and proper room at nice hosts.
Big kitchen with all facilities to use and nice garden.
Good bus connection (E2) with frequently rates to city center and to the seaside mole.
Supermarket in close proximity. A little bit too far away from the city center for me (bus normally takes 40 min - 60 min during rush hour).
Bathroom outside the room, but ok.
- Isabella (10/5): Schönes, sauberes Zimmer in modernem Haus - Sehr schönes Haus mit schönem Zimmer. Moderne helle Einrichtung. Sehr nette Gastgeber. Sehr nah an der Bushaltestelle. Supermarkt in der Nähe.

- Karin (9/5): Beautiful accommodation near Dublin - Easy bus ride (~45min) to Dublin City Centre from a nearby bus stop. The accommodation was quiet and beautiful. Though the central heat hadn't been turned on for the season when I stayed, I had an electric heater to keep me cozy and comfortable. I had room in the refrigerator and kitchen cupboard to store the essentials I purchased at the Lidl, which was a 5 minute walk from the accommodation. Kate and her husband were very welcoming and friendly!

- Supriya (9/5): Highly recommend the host, house and location - Kate the host is very kind and thoughtful. Always checked-in on me and what I needed. House is beautiful and nicely tucked away in a peaceful location and still just a minute or two walk from great take-aways, Lidl and bus service to city. The ambience and decor of the bedroom was calming and tastefully decorated inspired by minimalist living which I loved.
- Raveen (10/5): Friendly host and comfortable stay — felt like home! - I had a great stay here from the 18th to the 20th of April. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, with a private toilet and shower which was super convenient. The location was also easy to access from the city center. Kate and her family were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made my stay feel very warm and homely. The shared spaces like the kitchen and garden were well maintained and added to the overall experience. Communication was smooth throughout. Highly recommended! Honestly, I didn’t have anything to complain about. Everything met my expectations and I had a comfortable stay.
