Guest Reviews
- Kathya (5/5): Nice house, beautiful pool but very dirty & poorly maintained. - The house is very spacious and in a beautiful spot that makes it feel secluded despite being right next to a busy road. Decorated nicely and the pool & slide were excellent for the kids. It is not well mantained, all the kitchen utensils had a broken handle, coffee machine didn’t work and coffee pods supplied were in short supply and didn’t fit the machine, rangehood didn’t work, a shower head fell on our daughter whilst she was having a showers just broke off the hook , a bench seat was broken luckly only one person try to sit on it instead of the intended 4, outdoor BBQ only one side worked and was dirty, firepit wasn’t cleaned even the ashes were fallen on one side through a hole in it. Perhaps the most disappointing thing was how dirty it was. Dust just about on every flat surface, animal droppings on outdoor tables and seats even a wee stain on a toilet, couches & carpet with stains so dark and big it made it feel yucky seating on them. So much dust and spiderwebs on corners & under furniture that we started vacuuming upon our arrival -vacuum battery died every 5 minutes which just added to the dissatisfaction- despite all this we made do because we had been looking forward to this holiday for so long and didn’t want to have people coming in during our stay to “try to sort things out”. This is why we didn’t voice it until we left. The host company charges a $900 cleaning fee but this house had definitely not been cleaned between guests in many areas, too many to list and for which I would expect a spotless place. Can only upload 4 pictures but I have so many more that confirm the state of the place. The host company’s response was just to say thanks for feedback, we’ll do better, why didn’t you tell us before? Very dissatisfied with the host’s customer service.
- Andrew (10/5): Fabulous stay! - We were visiting from the UK and had a fabulous stay here! We were a family of 12 with young children and grandparents and this was perfect for all of us. There were clear instructions for everything we needed and a lovely welcome. The property was clean with fantastic facilities. We had kangaroos visit us in the garden which was a real treat. We only booked 4 nights as we were visiting different areas along the coast. This was definitely a highlight!
- Jenkins (10/5): Perfect for big families! - We loved that three generations of our family could stay together but still have enough space to relax and unwind without being on top of each other.
The rooms are spacious, beautifully appointed, with comfortable beds and linens, and the bathrooms are generous in space, too.
We LOVED that the kitchen had everything we needed, so a quick grocery shop set us up for the entire long weekend, and the gift of smores ingredients was a lovely surprise - we made good use of that outside over the firepit.
We loved that the dining table was big enough to accommodate everyone in our family, and once the kids were asleep, we could move to the lounge at the back to play games and enjoy the company of all the adults without having to worry about being quiet and waking them up - and the media room was a big hit!
The hosts were quick to respond, very thoughtful with how everything was set up.
Even though it wasn't warm enough to use the pool this time for us, I still noticed the details that made a big difference - not just one but two cabanas, a huge pile of soft loungers, a bunch of outdoor games. We will definitely be back.

- Helen (10/5): An amazing place for a large family to stay - There was an abundance of space for the 3 generations of our family with plenty of seating and numerous bathrooms. The ranch had a nice, large, fully stocked kitchen and bar. It was in a nice, quiet location but still close to everything we wanted to do. We even had some kangaroos come to visit. We did have some issues with the washing machine, WIFI and water temperature/pressure in the showers on occasion as well as a chair that came apart very easily. These were very minor issues and did not detract from our stay.
