Guest Reviews
- Peter (8/5): - This is probably the best location in the inner suburbs of Melbourne with the great variety of shops in Carlisle Street. It would also be one of the safest locations now that the local community have employed armed guards in response to the earlier terrorist attacks on the synagogues. The car park is at the rear of the property but there is no access from there to the lock box at the front of the property so you have to park your car, walk around the block to get to the box, go in the front entrance and then out the back entrance to get to your car to get your luggage. Similar problem when you go to leave - take luggage to the car, enter the rear door, exit the front door, replace the key and then walk around the block to get back to your car. The cooking pots had not been cleaned properly or checked as there were pieces of food stuck to them - photos available. The bed is extremely comfortable but the wooden base is dangerous. It is dark coloured and after hitting my shin a number of times (because the walk space is very narrow) in the first few hours I wrapped a towel around the frame to prevent further injuries - photos available.
- Thomas (10/5): Perfect location for this area of the city - Excellent location. The road is noisy during the daytime so you’ll need the provided earplugs if you want to lie in.
- Dixon (9/5): Superb - Apartment had everything you need for a home from home experience. Great location for local shops, cafes and restaurants and for getting to St Kilda Beach and the city.
- Taylor (10/5): Amazing visit to Melbourne! Beautiful apartment and lovely area to stay in! - Loved how close it was to the trams and trains! Very cute and cozy apartment N/A
- Natalie (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely perfect place to stay - clean, comfortable and safe with windows that open for ventilation. The bed is so comfy. The obvious attention to detail made it feel like a home away from home for an extended stay. Hosts were amazing and attended to any questions/issues within 24 hours. The neighbours were quiet and the location was not only close to my workplace, but Carlisle Street has everything you could need for an extended, self-catering stay. The building itself is very old and difficult to access by car the very first time when you don't know where to park, but once you know, it is so easy.and the room is so lovely and the hosts so amazing, it doesn't matter.
- Jordan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ch33kymunkee (9/5): Cute little space that is in a great place - liked the location, being near a family residence we needed to visit a lot, also close to the rest of St.Kilda and the Carlisle st shops. The owner was responsive when asked questions. Every inch has been used effectively giving the best use of the small space available. Road is a little noisy (earplugs provided though, that was thoughtful). The main lounge lights stopped working but the owner is active and responsive so I expect that will be fixed soon.
