Very well equipped. Absolutely nothing.
- Guest (9/5): -
- Janelle (8/5): - Space, internet, laundry facilities Tv was hard to work
- Grant (9/5): A very enjoyable stylay in a beautiful part of the country. We will be back - Comfortable clean and tidy. All amenities were provided and in good order. Communication with the owner was excellent.
- Jade (6/5): - Nice little cottage. Clean and comfortable. We stayed 1 night to explore the local mountains. Toilet paper ran out shortly after arrival. No extra provided in the property. No hand towel or bath mat in the bathroom. Appears the cleaner missed these key items. Host was not contactable during the stay.
- Lynette (8/5): - Not having a dryer
- Carla Gates (10/5): - A wonderful cottage, perfect for a weekend away!
- Laura (8/5): -
- Kaisa (9/5): Short drive from Katoomba center and all the attractions. We enjoyed the comfortable beds and the house was clean and we - Cute little cottage with everything you need to enjoy a holiday.
- Li wen (9/5): -
- Vicki (8/5): -
- Chih Ping (10/5): - 內部空間很大,裝潢很美,廚房設備其全,房東Colin一家就住在隔壁,他們的服務很親切,三個小孩都很可愛。可惜住的兩天天氣都不好,無法使用外面的小花園。
- Gerald (7/5): - Broken clothes line and rack. No dryer. Untidy front entry.
- Neil (9/5): - Lovely full of character house with huge beds and a great location to explore the Blue Mountains Minor point: there was no dryer facility and as it was rainy when we visited we couldn't do any laundry, but as we only stayed a short while this was no problem for us.
- Vicky (9/5): Great cottage with quiet surroundings - A great property, nice amount of room and well stocked kitchen & pantry items. Easy to get into Katoomba main town 5mins by car Would have been great to have a dryer as our 4 days we had 3 of rain so washing wasn’t really drying on the airer
- Helen (8/5): A good, laid back, clean, comfortable establishment. - A good laid back, clean, comfortable establishment. Would chose it again No instructions for the following:
Tv, oven, dishwasher.
- Smith (10/5): -
- Lisa Cherie (8/5): Perfect for our little family to enjoy the Blue Mountains! -
- Eryl (8/5): A very enjoyable trip with wonderful hosts - This property is in a great location, very near to Scenic World.
It was very easy to access the keys.
We arrived on a 36o day only to find only 1 fan, no fly wire on the windows & no A/C.
We asked the hosts whether there were anymore fans; not long after we sent the message, they turned up armed with 2 more fans & 2 bags of ice. Such great customer service which was very much appreciated. There could have been some outdoor furniture on the deck to eat our BBQ & a coffee table in the sitting room.
A mat in the very small bath/shower might be good for safety
- Adele (7/5): Great place to stay and great base for exploring the Blue Mountains. - We enjoyed staying here. The house was neat and well presented. It was great to have access to a washing machine and fully equipped kitchen while travelling. Nice quiet location away from the main shopping area. Just a few things that would make the stay more comfortable: shower over the bath has a big step down - there is a hand rail but a non slip mat would make it safer, outdoor seats in the decking area - no where to sit outdoors, a small coffee table or somewhere to put a drink down in the lounge room would be good.
- Darren (10/5): Great Value, would reccomend - Everything, good location with every thing that was needed, great value. Highly reccomended Could maybe do with an extra bedside table in the bedrooms and maybe a little table in the lounge to place cups / glasses when drinking, butbthats being very picky as the place was great
- Darren (10/5): - Location and the comfy beds
- Alanna (9/5): Great comfortable cottage - would stay here again. - Super comfortable bed, soft sheets with lots of pillows to choose from. The kitchen was very well stocked with lots of things that are usually missing from other accommodations (pleased to see scissors, containers and oven mits!). Very quiet neighbourhood. Clean and private, easy self check-in. Books and games are available, which was a nice touch. Lots of streaming available on the TV (although no free to air which was fine for us for a short stay).
We had a great stay and would stay here again! The wifi password didn't work for us and it was different to the description in the welcome message (it referred to a white modem but the one in the house was black so perhaps had been recently replaced?). We tried to reach the owner on the first night but unfortunately didn't receive any reply communication so we made do without.
- Bernadette (10/5): Cosy Mountain Cottage - It was very clean, cosy and homey. The kitchen and bathroom had quality, essential supplies. There were plenty of spare blankets and cushions. It was really like a home away from home. N. A.
- Claire (10/5): Fabulous - Very homely and clean place. The double bed was very very comfortable, kitchen well equipped and was lovely to have channels to watch movies at night. Colin was very kind and helpful. Thank you
- Alicia (1/5): Not going back wasn’t worth the money - It was nice but no tv as net was broken on modem and worst no light in main room no pot mits in kitchen for oven not even kitchen stuff Tv didn’t work as there was no free to air tv and the modem had stuffed cord I tried contact that day to fix it they didn’t answer we ended up cutting it short driving all way home that night after paying for extra night and light was broken in bed room sucken bath was to hard to get in or out no dryer to dry clothes kitchen lacking things like pot mits and kitchen utensils
- Leah (9/5): A lovely, comfortable house in a good position with great hosts. - The house has great facilities and was very spacious. A good position for exploring the area. Hosts were extremely helpful.
- Natalie (8/5): Cozy, clean comfortable stay - Clean, comfy beds, all essentials away from home. Nothing
- Sharon (8/5): -
- Rachel (8/5): - Location is good, easy to check in. Good size, friendly hosts. Comfortable to stay. Basic accommodation perfectly for a short stay. It didn't have heating in bedrooms. They sheets for the sofa bed didn't seem that fresh and had no pillows we managed to spare some from another bed.
- Alanah (10/5): - Good size, nice space, had everything you’d need!
- Kevin (10/5): Great value cottage - Good options for streaming for kids, nicely renovated, kids loved the sunken bath.
- White (7/5): - The electric blanket on my bed and the shower. The heater takes ages to warm the lounge. There was no coffee and no wine glasses. No electric blanket on my friend's bed.
- Geneva (6/5): -
- Kim (2/5): Won't stay there again. - Hot water.
Great heater once house was warm. Very cold. Would have been nice if Heater was on for us
Blow heater doesn't work
Power point at microwave is hanging off the wall - not safe.
Light in loungeroom is extremely dim
Wifi. Only 1 person at a time can use it
No milk, t bags (african?), coffee
TV. Couldnt get all free to air stations.
Mattress in smaller bedroom needs replacing. Apparently it has a dip in the middle.
Dishes in cupboard had dried food on them and needed scrubbing before we could use them.
- Amy (5/5): If you don’t care what you stay in then stay here only for location. - The location was very central to everything we needed for the weekend. It wasn’t cleaned. Mould growing in all the rooms, spider webs everywhere. You had to wash your plate or the cup before using it as it had dirt in or on them, marks and paint coming off the walls, heater kept cutting off after 30/45minutes, towels where stained, don’t sleep 6 people more like 3 adults and small child if your lucky.
The thing we didn’t like was the owner waited in his car until we got there left and then pulled back up in his camper van and stayed right across the road both nights.
- Emma (8/5): A home away from home in the lovely Blue Montains: - Great location a few minutes drive from Katoomba. Lovely, comfortable beds, full kitchen and facilities, warm and homely. Streaming services on TV (great for tired kids). Lovely bath. Great value for money. When we arrived after our check in time the cottage hadn’t been cleaned however after letting the owner know, a cleaner was sent and we went out so she could clean it. Apparently a miscommunication error between owner and cleaner. Otherwise no other negatives.
- Chiara (7/5): Good - The position it was nice and close to town. Nothing really
- Ribas (10/5): Exceptional - Clean,Open spaces,great beds All great
- Neil (6/5): Pleasant - Good location Bit sparse and short on some comforts for a winter stay.
- Trina (8/5): Great Property - Great location for the purpose that I was in the Katoomba area for.
Very well presented and clean and tidy. I arrived in the early evening, and it was nice that the heating had been put on.
Bed and pillows were very comfortable, and I also liked that there wasn't a lot of bedding.
Kitchen was also well equipped and had everything that would be needed.
I would definitely look at booking this property again.
- Ritsue (6/5): It was clean house with uncomfortable beds and no coffee ( even instant ). - Clean kitchen. No coffee. Beds are too soft. Gas heater very hard to control the temperature.
- Megan (6/5): Pleasant -
- Neisha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elly (7/5): Good -
- Morteza (10/5): It really worth it,many thanks the host 🌷🙏 we had a great time there - The location, the space, the weather, facilities were good If you open the doors to enjoy the weather, some insects would invite themselves!
- Jennifer (4/5): Only compliment is that the beds were comfortable. - Beds were comfortable No tea/coffee milk supplied for arrival. No free to air TV channels, no instructions for anything, including TV. Location way out of town. Need your own car to get around.
A resealable bag in pantry not labeled containing unknown substance? (Needs to be labeled or removed)
Also, small jar containing white sugar wasn't labeled.
- Cinzia (7/5): Good - Well equipped kitchen, comfy beds. In Katoomba, at easy reach of all the main sights and attractions, but you ll need a vehicle (unless you have got plenty of time to walk to the centre). Shower was rather hard to regulate
- Rosanna (5/5): Passable -
- Jackie (9/5): Great place for a couple of nights to explore the Blue Mountains -
- Praful (5/5): Despite the issues, the property may have been comfortable in terms of temperature and cleanliness. - Property is good location. We were really hoping to have a relaxing family getaway, but unfortunately, this place wasn't quite what we expected.
The living area was way too small for our family of five. There was just an L-shaped sofa, which wasn't enough for everyone to sit comfortably, and we couldn't even find enough chairs to play board games!
The deck outside was also a bit of a let-down – no shade and nowhere to sit and enjoy the weather.
We also had to call and ask for extra towels and some soap, which took a while to arrive.
The shower was a real pain – the temperature kept fluctuating wildly. We ended up having to use the bath taps instead!
And to top it off, there was hardly anywhere to look in the mirror except the bathroom vanity, which was way too high for anyone shorter than 5'5"!
- Zhang (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anthony (8/5): Very good -
- Deb (10/5): We had everything we needed, was comfortable, clean, had good heating for what we needed at the time of year - It had everything we needed!
- Mcgarry (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephen (10/5): Lynette - Location was lovely.
Communication was excellent.
Perfect for visiting the blue mountains Nothing
- Daniel (8/5): Very good -
- Marc (8/5): Great Blue Mountains base. - Lovely recently refreshed cottage
Convenient for exploring the Blue Mountains
Clean
Comfy beds and if you like your pillows being robust foam then you are in luck. Lacked some homely touches that would have made it really nice like some furniture on the deck to enjoy the BBQ
Car crash repair shop is opposite. We were never disturbed at night / morning but not an ideal view and some noise to be expected during the day.
- William (8/5): Very good - Decent location.
Good place for family to stay. More kitchen utensils/equipment would be better
A few lights not working
- Bhupinder (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bernadette (8/5): Very good -
- Midhun (9/5): Enjoyed stay - Good location. Value for money. Spacious for 4 member family. A mirror in bedroom.
- Jorge (9/5): Superb - absolutely nothing to criticize, I would go back.
- Trish (10/5): Exceptional -
- Susie (8/5): Had a great stay, the bed was sooo comfy - An iron would have been helpful as well as a full length mirror, apart from this facilities were everything we needed
- Claudie (8/5): Very good - The shower 🚿 has a problem
- Parkinson (8/5): Very good - Internet password didn't work
- Amanda (9/5): Superb -
- Richard (8/5): Good overall stay. Has everything you need for easy comfortable stay. - Spacious open living area. All the facilities you need for a short stay. Comfortable beds. Great wifi and TV. Heater in living area is great for a winter stay. Found the shower difficult to get the right temp. Also others may find the drop down shower/bath difficult
- Jennifer (9/5): Superb -
- Ian (8/5): Very good - There wasn't free to air television available, an antenna to the TV would have been great. Change the light bulbs to modern LED lighting, some lights took 5mins to brighten up.
- Jasmin (9/5): Superb -
- Tho (5/5): Passable - Though the place looks exactly like photos and clean, we had bad experience because the place was double booked. When we arrived, someone was already there. The host asked us to move and we had to find an alternative accommodation at 4pm with young kids. It was stressful and the hosts only sent us some alternative motels nearby and asked us to vacate the property. He blamed eveything on Booking and did not take any resposibility. If the host really checked the guests who are coming and not completely rely on the booking system, this should not have happened.
- Paul (6/5): Pleasant - The heater was not adequate for the space. Subsequently we were freezing most of the time we were there.
- Nicole (8/5): Enjoyed our short stay except for the Katoomba Scenic World. - Need some instructions re use of TV to get live TV programmes. Would prefer to have TV load immediately to free to air without having to go through apps.
Scenic World was a disappointment in that the tickets advertised on the web were nothing like the price they were charging. The place was unfortunately overrun with Asian tourist groups.
- Kai (8/5): Very good -
- Frank (6/5): This cottage is adequate for an overnight stay. - Location was quite. Instructions for arrival were good. Heating was ok. Accommodation was clean. Very miminum of comfort. Small sofa could really only seat 3 so had to use a dining chair. Really needs an extra lounge chair in seating area. No light shades in any room, just light globes hanging from ceiling. No decoration (pictures etc) on walls - so very bland. No mirrors in bedrooms - only 1 in bathroom. Greasy baking tray left in dirty oven. Kitchen paper and paper serviettes would have been appreciated. Only 2 dessert spoons, so had to use soup spoons, and only 2 large kitchen knives - needs small vegetable knife. A pizza cutter would also be useful. No jug for water.
- Stuart (9/5): Host was contactable and very helpful. -
- Alissa (9/5): Terrific little place to stay for a small family - had everything we needed. -
- Olivia (5/5): Choose somewhere else - Place was spacious It was clear the bed linen had not been washed, property was not ready at check in time
- Amy (8/5): Great little cottage for a small family. Clean and tidy and close to Katoomba’s attractions. - The code provided in the confirmation email didn’t match the lock box code but contacting the property owner provided us with the correct code. location is close to Katoomba’s city centre and attractions. The main bed was super comfortable. The cottage is great for a small family for a short stay as it is quite compact. The place was clean and tidy and welcoming.
- Rejnal (10/5): Exceptional - The host were very helpful. We arrived late, the host had the heater and lights on. Very thoughtful.
- Saffron (8/5): Very good -
- Daniel (9/5): Superb -
- Thein (9/5): We enjoyed our stay. If we visit to blue mountains we will definitely stay there again. - Clean, comfortable and quiet place.
- Donna (9/5): Superb - It was a easy location to find ....very clean and comfortable.. ..
- Thivya (9/5): Beautiful cottage, perfect for a getaway - Colin is super easy to communicate with and is very accommodating
- Yaz79 (7/5): A lovely comfortable and cosy stay. - The beds were very comfortable and the place was very clean and tidy. Providing the lockbox pin code ahead of our check in would have made the check in and check out process run a little more smoothly but our host was super responsive, polite and professional!
- Julian (9/5): Superb -
- Ruth (8/5): Very good -
- Melissa (7/5): Good - The cottage was comfortable and clean. The location was close to main road so great location. Sofa bed was a plus so the kids could have a room each. There were no coffee pods or tea.
Needs updating e.g the wardrobes were so old and the shower very old fashioned with old fashioned toilet. The bathroom needs complete renovation.
We stayed at a cottage in orange the night before and it was completely renovated with coffee, tea etc and was same price. Needs updating to be competitive in the market.
- Kirsty (9/5): Superb -
- Maguale (10/5): Exceptional - Very accommodating! The facility is fantastic! The photos they show is very accurate!!! I love it! None!
- Catherine (8/5): Great value, in a lovely quiet location. - It was lovely to be greeted by the host (living next door) on our arrival, and the cottage was very clean and inviting. It was also very well-equipped, with free wifi plus smart tv a bonus. Our only - very slight - observation is that with just a little extra expense the sitting room could have been made so much more attractive: a simple coffee table, a table lamp or other side lamp, and perhaps a rug, would have made the room much more useable and comfortable, instead of the rather bare space it is at the moment. It would also have been nice to have had bedside tables and lamps at both sides of the beds, rather than just one. But these are minor details, and would make the property excellent rather than just very good!
- Andrew (8/5): Very good -
