Guest Reviews
- Paul (2/5): Shabby DIY - Good location near tube and busses. Zayid was helpful, polite and quick to reply to questions, he was also willing to extend our check in and check out times beyond the agreed times. Thank goodness for the elevator! Nice view over the rooftops around. The entire apartment needs renovating and then decorating. Torn curtains, shabby bathrooms with mould on tiling and ceiling. Fraying carpets, exposed wiring, broken sofa with a paperback book for a leg and a chair that was broken and fixed with Sellotape. My guests shower door fell on her on the first use and there was a mop and bucket in the corner. The door from the bedroom to the balcony does not open and will not close completely. A toilet leaving the wall and staining on the baths. THREE cups in an apartment for five. It would have been helpful for the heating and hot water to be turned on or at least to have instructions to do it. None of us are heating engineers. The whole apartment was like a place where students might live and complain to the landlord about work never carried out. No clothes hangers in the entire apartment! Broken TV in the bedroom, just throw it away! This is not stunning in any way other than the location. Sorry Zayid.
- Abdullah (5/5): Passable -
- Javier (10/5): Perfect days in the apartment - Everything Anything
- Rick (8/5): Very good - Loved the balcony and the quietness of the flat. An amazing location, close to tube and train stations. Everything was very clean and orderly.
We thought we had just a washing machine, but it included a drying function as well! The flat was hot, but we opened the windows and it cooled down quickly. We left the windows open at night, but because we were so high up on a lesser used street, street noises didn't bother us.
We were four couples, with only three bathrooms. One of the shower doors in the shared bathroom was off track, and it wasn't really addressed until our last night, when the repair man told us it need a new track.
- Mohsin (8/5): Very good - The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are clean, kitchen utensils are available, and the owner is very helpful. The balcony is not clean.
- Andrew (7/5): Overall enjoyed the stay. Would be better with some maintenance. - Location was good, very close to tube station. The 3 bathrooms were handy. The hosts were very helpful and communicated well. The property needs some general maintenance and repairs.
- May (4/5): Disappointing - Air-conditioning facilities were totally missing in the apartment, which is not in line with the brochure.
There were too many stuff, e.g. cleaning tools & used equipment, remaining inside the wardrobes.
- Guido (7/5): Was what we needed for our trip - Spacious apartment, suited our needs very well (2 families - 4 adults, 3 children). Very well located, just 100m from Edgware Road Underground station.
Host was very flexible, allowed us to enter the flat already in the morning.
If we're again in London in similar circumstances, we'll try to book again. Apartment is in need of some TLC: one of the ensuite doors didn't close and therefore couldn't be locked. Several bathroom tiles were cracked.
There could be more pillows available and the mattresses could be a bit firmer (at least to our taste).
- Barnett (3/5): Definitely NOT splendid. Disappointing and barely habitable. - Location It stank of smoke when we walked in. Had to open all windows and doors to air the apartment. One door on to balcony was off its hinges. Shower door off hinges. Shower curtain black with mould. Wanted to spend time with family in here but left early to find somewhere more pleasant.
- Jamal (10/5): Exceptional - Everything's Nothing
