• Daniela (10/5): Todo de 10 - Ubicación fantástica en un apartamento moderno, limpio y con un equipamiento muy completo. El anfitrión estuvo pendiente de que todo fuese bien, el check in fue muy ágil y nuestra estancia fue perfecta. Es cierto que se oye bastante viento al estar ubicado en un punto alto de Monteverde. Aun así, Carlos Mario tuvo la gentileza de dejar tapones a nuestra disposición. Pudimos descansar perfectamente.
• ian (8/5): A great find - Very clean, great location - close to town but not too noisy. The host was very nice, the bed was comfortable and dealing with things such as locks or gates was simple. Comes with parking, and there is ac in the unit, plus complimentary locally grown coffee and a well-stocked kitchenette. My only minor complaint was that some light got in through the shades in the morning. Nothing too bad, but I am a light sleeper.

• James (10/5): Incredible stay at Black & White Appartments. - Was very well equipped, exceptionally clean and almost like new, with very nice finishes. The little extras like the provided coffee was a nice touch. Only down side is it was a bit noisy with the wind.

Just up the hill within walking distance to town, featuring an amazing view and incredible sunsets! The apartment was very clean and safe, everything felt brand new. Gated access to keep your car. The host, Carlos, was very accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend! It's typically windy and rainy in Monteverde. We happened to visit during the windiest 3 days, which made for quite the experience on the hill. The hallway into the apartment made a pretty good wind tunnel and it could sound like you were in a tornado from inside haha, nothing to stop us from enjoying the apartment and views though.

• Leroy (8/5): Price quality is very fair! - Very close to everything and it had everything you need. Also the room was very clean and carlos was very kind. Nothing about the apartment but the monteverde wind kept me up at night.
• Kyra (10/5): Fantastic stay, definitely worth going - This apartment was absolutely wonderful. On our way to Monteverde, we had to go through a mountain where an accident had occurred. We were supposed to arrive at 6:00 PM, but because of the serious accident, we were stuck on the mountain for a long time. The host responded so kindly, telling us not to worry and that she would wait for us. We were able to check in at 2:00 AM without any problem. The room was clean, the shower was fantastic, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We also enjoyed the sunshine on the balcony. The location was excellent in relation to all the activities you can do in Monteverde (the parks, canopy tour, and hanging bridges). I would definitely recommend this apartment. -
• Thomas (8/5): Fijn verblijf met mooi uitzicht! - Het appartement is erg schoon en modern ingericht. Heel fijn met een prachtig uitzicht vanuit je kingsize bed. Omdat je boven aan een heuvel zit, is het wel erg gehorig voor windvlagen die ons wel stoorde met slapen.

• Jenni (9/5): Moderniasunto hyvällä sijainnilla - Asunto oli kuvien mukainen, todella siisti ja moderni. Majoittaja oli todella ystävällinen ja avulias. Erittäin mukava ja leveä sänky. Erittäin hyvät pesuaineet. Asunnon ilmastointilaitteesta sai vain tuuletus asetuksen päälle. Olisimme kaivanneet ajoittain lämmitystä.

• Diana (10/5): FANTASTIC STAY - Great apartment up on a hill ,only a 10 min walk into the town { no need for a car }.The location was quite.Lovely view from the small balcony.The apartment felt new and was super clean.Bed was very comfortable and big. There is car parking and the property is gated.The wi-fi worked very well and plenty of channels to watch on T.V if you want a night in.The kitchen was well catered for to be able to in eat if required.Would recommend to stay here. Nothing to do with the host but our first night was bad with high winds, it did feel like the roof was going to come off not sure if this was also due to being high up or may be the season. It calmed down by the third night.

Spacious and spotless. Has hangers and luggage rack. Big window overlooking the town. Excellent shower plenty hot water. Great WiFi. Kitchen Has everything you need. Lovely little terrace with great sunsets. Really can’t say enough about this place. Only thing to take note is there are quite a few stairs to get to the apartment, so if that is an issue you may have to miss out on this lodging. muchissimas gracias Carlos Mario for taking such good care of me!! Can’t think of anything.
• Kevin (10/5): Amazing apartment and the friendliest host. - Excellent - the best place we've stayed in Central America. Carlos was an unbelievably good host - friendly and helpful throughout our stay and gave us some great suggestions about places to go and things to do. The apartment itself was fantastic - spacious and spotlessly clean with a large comfortable bed and clean, modern bathroom. It also had a well equipped kitchen with fridge and coffee machine. The views over the town and out to the ocean were spectacular from the large panoramic windows and the terrace. The apartment was about 10 minutes walk from the main part of town (up a steep hill on the way back, but the view makes it worthwhile). Faultless place. Nothing - everything was excellent.

Had everything i needed for 3 nights and was located in a peacef - clean and new apartment in nice location that had everything i needed for a few nights. Room, amenities view, communication only minus was that its on a hill so unless you got a car its a steep 10min climb up from the centre. But its the mountains so expected
• Peter (9/5): A very enjoyable four day stay. - This nicely presented apartment was spotlessly clean and because of its height above the town it had magnificent views. The huge bed was comfy, and the large windows ensured a nice light and airy feel. The steep walk to the property was fine but perhaps best attempted without luggage. Despite Carlos providing ear plugs, the wind noise was still very noticeable throughout our stay.
• Heather (10/5): Monteverde/Santa Elena B&W beauty - Loved this apartment & the views. Super comfy massive bed. Great response from the owner via WhatsApp. Santiago delivered some fresh yummy bagels to us & was a lovely young man. Great restaurant round the corner, Clouds & Coffee if you don't want to go to the village. Nothing - up quite a steep hill, but good exercise.
• Andres (10/5): Comfortable, cozy, clean, and modern studio that had everything we needed for our short stay. - Very clean and modern apartment. Pretty close to the center of town. Carlos was very communicative and responsive. He let us check in early and also let us store our bags at the apartment after check out. At night, it gets pretty loud when the winds are heavy but the provided ear plugs helped a ton.
• Thibault (8/5): Very good stay in the heights of Monteverde - Modern, clean, amazing view from the balcony, coffee and bread offered :) The lack of isolation of the house: we could hear too much the wind hitting the walls and the temperature of the room turned a bit cold at night. The owner gave us some earplugs which was helpful.
• Megan (9/5): A great little apartment close to the town centre - The location is great, even without a car, it’s a close walk to town (a bit of a hill) and there are some good local restaurants/shops just round the corner. Carlos was so lovely and helpful, his communication is great. The property is very new, it’s super clean and has an amazing view. It’s very comfortable. There are facilities to enable you to cook a basic meal if you want to. Carlos provided coffee, some water and also some bagels. It does get a bit damp, but it was very rainy in Monteverde when we were there.

• Omer (9/5): Superb - The location is perfect (8 min from city center by walk, 2 by car) The room is vert new and clean, with amazing shower, a functional kitchen and large bed There are also a small balcony with a great view all the way to the Pacific Ocean. Perfect value for money. Nothing major. It can get a bit windy (and noisy).

• Ramesh (9/5): Superb - Brand new facilities, inside it felt like high scale hotel. King-size bed, clean sheets, nice pillows, towels list goes on. The owner went to lengths to make sure they provided a very clean and comfortable stay. They even provided water bottles, bagels, and coffee which I appreciated. Good view from the balcony. It was also centrally located to all the restaurant access.
