• Adriana (10/5): Un 10 en todo! - No hace falta llevar nada porque te proveen de todo para desayunar y podes cocinar tranquilamente. Tiene un lugar al frente para descansar y la tranquilidad tanto del lugar como la zona es muy buena. Las camas súper cómodas. Gaby la dueña muy amable nos dejó entrar a las 10 cuando llegamos siendo que debíamos hacerlo a las 15 hs. Leti la chica que está a la mañana muy simpática siempre atenta. Al irnos pudimos dejar nuestras cosas hasta la hora de salida de nuestro colectivo mientras recorrimos la ciudad un rato más. Sin duda un 10 súper recomendable y volveríamos sin dudas 😀

• Carol (6/5): 3 night stay, no pool - We booked 2 private rooms for a 3 night stay at GB Hostel at short notice after our other pre booked accommodation was cancelled the day before we were due to arrive. We looked at what was available that was close to the bus station and at a reasonable cost. GB Hostel fitted the bill and I'm not disappointed with the choice despite the negative. The rooms were comfortable and shower fine. The air conditioning worked well which was essential with the heat. There were a number of good restaurants nearby and storage in the fridge for groceries. Note that while waiting for Gaby, the room codes were sent by WhatsApp so you need data or wifi. We found wifi information in the courtyard area otherwise would have had to pay ££ for data to get the info. The booking.com website advertises the property as having a swimming pool. There isn't one which was disappointing and would have been most welcome. Besides being close to the bus station, it was one of the deciding factors in choosing the accommodation.
• Widenyourworld (1/5): Bad - I was overcharged because I payed with credit card.
• Mark (2/5): Room and location were fine. Getting hustled with exchange rate scenanigans and surcharges was bad. - The hostel and staff were fine. Met or exceeded expectations. The management plays unfair games with the exchange rate and only tells you after it's too late to reschedule. When you book you get a price in US dollars. When they contact you to pay only then do they inform you that paying with a card is a 15% surcharge. When you offer to pay in local currency they calculate the exchange with their own rate which is completely unfair and worse than the blue dollar rate and not even close to the official rate. The only way they will honor the price you were quoted is if you pay in cash in US currency to the penny. Who carries exact change in US dollars to a foreign country?
