- Dale (8/5): Good deal, met our needs while on a two day fishing charter from Campbell River. - This place was great for a short stay for Grandad, Dad and 2 sons - 14 and 11. There was lots to keep the boys busy when they weren't out fishing. We liked that there were enough beds and badminton. Also, communication was terrific - all my emails received a quick response and they were able to accommodate our dates. Self catering facilities are limited and the layout is "quirky", but it works. You do need a car to get to shops, restaurants and Campbell River main waterfront area. It's not that we didn't like this, because the online description is accurate and you know what you are getting. This just needs to be noted when you plan your stay.
