• Alberto (8/5): - La ubicación. El desayuno es bueno. El precio está bien para los precios que se se manejan en Vancouver. Hay actividades todos los días para hacer. La señal de internet en la habitacion era débil, a veces no tenía directamente. Los lockers debajo de la cama hacen mucho ruido y las puertas no abren bien del todo.

• Dana (10/5): Good value for the money - The location was great. Close to the beach and to the amenities, also only 20mins walking to the city center. Staff was super helpful and friendly, my bed was comfy. Loved the breakfast options (fresh and tasty), facilities were cleaned regularly They could do with upgrading aicon system. It was quite warm in the room and even tho we had ventilator, it was quite noisy.

• Leane (10/5): Estada ótima com pessoas gentis e acolhedoras. - Os funcionários são super gentis, a limpeza é muito boa, café da manhã gostoso. Eles têm uma sala para trabalho também. A localização é ótima! Não a reclamar! Que só fui avisada do café depois de 2 dias....rs

• Mónica (8/5): Bien situado y cumple su función - Está muy bien situado, a una pequeña caminata del metro que conecta con el aeropuerto y además está rodeado de restaurantes y supermercados. El desayuno, aunque con productos azucarados, está bien, incluye fruta. Hay una sala para teletrabajar. El personal es amable. La cama es cómoda. Hay sólo un baño de chicos y otro de chicas por planta para todas la habitaciones. Durante mi estancia, estos baños estaban estropeados por lo que había que ir a otra planta y juntarse con otras tantas chicas de otras tantas habitaciones. Esperas eternas en los baños con la suciedad que ello conlleva.

• Nayla (8/5): Amazing place! - Staff very friendly. Organized activities daily. Cleanliness daily. Good location away from the nightlife scene and walkable to Stanley Park / 20 min away from the metro stop to the airport. Easy and safe walk even at night times. Rooms are spacious- windows can open. Luggage room available before and after check out. On my last night, they had maintenance in the female bathroom but they put ALL showers out of order except for 1 in the entire hostel. Waiting in a long line for a shower while you have an early flight is not ideal. Reception was not aware that pretty much all showers were not available to use.... The night before, housekeeping forgot to remove the cleaning sign of the bathroom - it leaves a bad impression as there are already very few showers to use in the entire hostel.

• Nina (9/5): Je recommande à 100% ! - C'est vraiment un super hostel ! L'emplacement est idéal, imbattable à ce prix ! Le petit déjeuner offert est assez varié. Les chambres sont confortables et équipées ! Les sanitaires n'étaient pas toujours nickel mais cela dépend des heures forcément.

• Raul (4/5): Good location terrible facilities - The location was the main advantage, is just one block away from Davie and Burrard Elevator didn't work, bathrooms in 2nd and 3rd floor were in renovation so had to use another's floor, it was so inconvenient. Also the floor on 4th was so dirty

• Naipaul (7/5): Pretty decent - Right near the beach and close to the busses. In a very convenient location. Staff were nice Beds were a bit uncomfortable and would be loud when others were moving around at night

• Anni (7/5): Nice, decent hostel - The bed was comfy and the room was nice. The breakfast was okay and laundry came in handy. Location was pretty good as there was bus stops pretty close. The bathrooms were quite cold and not that comdy, but there was usually free showers etc.

Many things needed repairing while I stayed only one night. - Near downtown/central Vancouver, large locker for all my bags (but you need to provide your own lock). Breakfast was basic, but edible. Noisy doors opening & closing frequently on my floor overnight, lift not working while I stayed there, toilets on my floor being repaired while I stayed there, no curtains around dorm bed for privacy.

• Brock (5/5): Best value in Vancouver, but has its challenges. - Good location Parking is very hard, you either have to park 10-15 min walk away at over night parking for 40-50 a night. Or if you luck out you can pay for st parking. Rooms don't have a fan or AC. No privacy curtains for your bed. For 90 bucks a night, a very outdated hostel. But they got breakfast and nice kitchen facilities. Was clean and location is good for nightlife (gay bars typically).

• Raelyn Cr (9/5): I’ll stay there again if I come to Vancouver, and this was my second stay. - The breakfast was great yogurt , real chunk fruit cut up on site, toast, and the all important coffee (for me). Staff was helpful and friendly. Location was perfect; just 3 small blocks downhill to pickle boat we used to get to Granville Island the second day. I wish prices were still precovid but… My friend thought the bed was too hard. I thought sorta ok.

• Jeannine (8/5): Achtung an alle Gäste......bitte Küche so verlassen, wie man sie gerne antrifft..... - Das Hostel liegt nahe dem Zentrum und in Fussdistanz hat es Restaurants und Shops. Die HI Membership gibt's kostenlos, an der Rezeption. Diese Membership gibt 10 % Rabatt auf Zugtickets mit VIA Rail. Es gibt ein Wochenprogramm mit geführten Ausflügen und Aktivitäten. Sehr freundliches Personal!!! Es tut mir Leid, für das Pesonal, das es immer wieder Gäste gibt, die die Küche unordentlich verlassen. Licht brennt leider immer an vielen Orten....im Hostel. Am Tag und in der Nacht.....auch wenn's niemand braucht. Save the climate....! Leider gibt es zu viele Leute, die die Küche unordentlich verlassen..... denen sollte man verbieten in einem Hostel zu logieren oder eine Busse aussprechen. Geschirr abwaschen ist nicht der Job, von den Angestellten im Hostel.
• youngkwang (7/5): 쳌아웃시 숙소직원의 무성의와 무관심 - 위치가 좋았습니다 제가 72세나이때문에 3월30일.일요일 첵아웃인데,그만 29일을 일요일을 착각 하고 키를 주고나와서 YVR공항 티켓카운터에서 요일착각을 지적받고 그로 인해 여러가지 곤욕을 치렀습니다. 만약 HI VANCOUVER DOWNTOWN- HOSTEL 에서 "왜 하루 더 주무시는건데 쳌아웃을 미리 하시나요?"라고 당연질문을 했다면 3월29일하루 숙박비도 버리지앓고 후의 여러곤욕을 치르지않을수가 있었습니다.제실수도 있지만 당연한 질문을 하지앓고 방키를 그냥 받아버린 처사는 너무 화가납니다
• Dax (10/5): Very Amazing Friendly Hostel and Autistic Friendly - Great Location and very accomadating if you have a celiac(Gluten Free Diet) or are vegan/Vegetarian based diet ! The free breakfast included made the night so worth staying plus the quiet hours from 11pm to 7am was amazing especially for a autistic individual 💜 Nothing really except I wish I had known about them sooner cause my gosh if I could give them a 100/10 I would do it !

• Joseph (7/5): - Staff was helpful and had good reccomendations for food in the area. We were there with 8 people and each of us found a hair or two in our supposed to be freshly made beds, one bed wasnt even made for our arrival and we had to ask for it to be done.

• Nana (8/5): 다운타운 내 가성비 좋은 깨끗한 호스텔 찾으시는 분 - 위치가 너무 좋았어요. 근처에 Shoppers 있어서 마트 장보기도 좋아요. 전체적으로 생각보다 깔끔하게 유지되고 있었고 방 안에선 음식 들고가지 말라고 해서 좀 아쉬웠는데 벌레없이 깨끗하게 유지하려면 그렇게 해야 맞는것 같아요. 스태프도 친절하고 수건도 요청하면 매일 갈아주는게 저한텐 가장 좋은 조건이었어요. 조식이 너무 아쉬웠어요. 다른 리뷰들처럼 얼마나 조식이 별로일까 했는데 요거트랑 시리얼 그리고 커피, 빵, 과일 조금정도. 근데 매일 조식이 달라지는 건 없고 그대로라서 간단하게 요깃거리로 할 정도는 되어요. 그래도 그 옆에 밴딩머신도 있고 가장 좋은 건 뜨거운 물 나오는 정수기가 있다는거에요. 탭워터 아니라서 너무 좋았고 뜨거운물도 잘나와서 컵라면 먹을 수 있어서 좋았어요. 그리고 욕실이나 방 안에 헤어드라이기가 없어서 리셉션에 말하면 빌려준다는 리뷰를 보긴 했지만, 아침마다 귀찮아서 빌리러 갈 수 없었어요. 그게 조금 아쉬웠어요.

• Savannah (8/5): Simple but clean and well kept building in a wonderful location walking distance to so many wonderful spots, topped off - Well kept, clean building so close to great spots like sunset beach, Granville island and Stanley Park. Wonderful breakfast. Noise carries through building easily so all doors shutting, stairs going up and down and kids talking in hallways echos and can feel quite noisy.
