- Paul (7/5): Suitable location for seeing Canberra. Accommodation satisfactory. - Property is quick to cite extra charges for various things e.g. list keys but check in was not straightforward as it was not quite clear that key in box took us upstairs and then there were codes to get in! However, on site rep was friendly and helpful. Good laundry. Kitchen okay. Room okay for our needs. Well placed for supermarket and AWM and buses to parliament etc. Clarity re check in. Was expecting another key for our room.

- Jade (1/5): An Absolute Nightmare! - Nothing!! I couldn't get in. I couldn't' call staff.
They send you a WhatsApp phone number.
When I was concerned that something was wrong and was emailing asking for help.
I was given another phone number which was not a working number. I did a google search of the phone number and it comes up as a Macedonian phone number. That's been reported as a suspected scam.
I immediately booked elsewhere and messaged through to the accommodation that I would be reporting them as a scam and had booked elsewhere.
Within minutes I received a phone call that showed up as a car parking complex! (crazy I know) the man yelled and abused me. Told me that I was stupid for not being able to find the building. Apparently it's a door between a liquor store and an abandoned building? Which is completely unsigned.....
When I told him I didn't have time to mess around and I wanted a refund or I would report him. He continued to yell and abuse me until I hung up.
After hanging up, he immediately sent a bunch of messages on the app pretending to be "helpful" and then asking why I hung up on him. When he was yelling and swearing at me while telling me "to come back". (Really scary)
This experience is a complete nightmare and I paid for accommodation that I didn't use. I hope booking.com can help me sort this out. Nothing!! I couldn't get in. I couldn't' call staff.

- Limer (1/5): Shit hole - Nothing This place was discussing upon entry the floors where dirty as, then found out it was shared.
A person come out the other room told us our room was upstairs and that we could not use the kitchen, so no coffee even.
After going up a small tight spiral staircase very dark tried to get into our room well door won't open, so with that we left and found accommodation elsewhere.
So to all others out there don't book here!
- Tahir (8/5): Good - Great Location , just in the heart center
The host was nice, he gave me mobile charger for 2 days. Thank you 1.Check in time is too late 4pm. It should be 2pm. I waited for 3 hrs. Had long flight and very tired.
2.There should be one extra light in bathroom over the mirror, quite hard to do shave without light.
3.These should also be light switch on/off button near bed. It will help if you goes to bathroom at night.
- Dale (7/5): Convenient, affordable and in a great location. - The location was great and the ensuite bathroom was very large. It was also very affordable. The instructions to open the mailbox, then open the safe box and then use the keys and then use codes to get into two different doors at the apartment were a little confusing at first. But the host was very helpful.
- Sri Prasad (8/5): -
- Lindsay (7/5): We ended up only staying 2 night as we had to return to Queensland as our home City Bundaberg was being flooded - Location Access the doors using keypads, sometimes had to enter code a few times before door unlocked

- Jake (9/5): Excellent location and friendly staff very accommodating. - It is the central of the city
- Jackie (9/5): - Best location! Great value for money. Host Dana was very nice and helpful. Noise from outside. Wasn't too bad though.
- Kun Hei (5/5): -
- Mike G (8/5): Great Central location, the host was very friendly and helpful. - Great Central location, the host was very friendly and helpful.
- Fregin (4/5): -
- Maciu (8/5): Great Experience - It was cost effective and value for money How to access the key😂
- Harry (10/5): Convienient and great for the price. - Great Location, friendly owner, clean. A few too many different codes to remember. Would be better with a keyfob system. Not a big issue though.
- Trevor (5/5): Overall, it was the worst stay of my life fraught with tension gaining initial access to the room and a distressing expe - The water was wet. The complex way to access the apartment. As an older person with poor eyesight I had to lie on the foyer floor to access the postbox which was around one foot off the floor. Then, when I attempted to align the code to open the box numbers were so small I could not see them.
When I dialled the phone contact it was not accessible as it was an overseas number. In the same way I could not send a message.
I was surprised to find there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, nor a glass for a drink of water. As well, there was no TV in the room, a basic item these days
My departure was marred by an unfortunate matter which involved the owner ringing me and insisting I had not returned the key fob to the lock box. The owner was unwilling to to accept my declaration that I had indeed done so.
My other concern was the set of instructions. They could be rewritten to include code numbers etc at the point required, not hidden somewhere earlier in the message. I would be happy to rewrite them making them more user friendly.

- princess (10/5): It was relaxing, quiet, wonderful host Thanks for the Tea again :) - Not applicable None
- Valerie (7/5): A nice little apartment in the centre of town. Lovely view from the verandah. - Location was excellent!
- kettlewell (3/5): - Location would be great for someone without a car Extra money for parking was not stated clearly upfront (in fine print only)
Another guest stole some of my food from the shared fridge
Fairly noisy. Could hear other bathroom fans etc.
Not easy to navigate getting key and parking. Not great signage.

- Divya Rakesh (10/5): -
- Divya (8/5): It was good overall. - Prime location, beautiful view from the balcony of room number 2. Too many access codes to enter the property. Also, the other guests had created mess in the kitchen. Had kept the microfibre kitchen cleaning cloth on the tap, folded. It was smelling and at the same time difficult for us to fill our water bottle. We didn’t move it because couldn’t locate the disposable gloves.
- Supral (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sanjay (1/5): Bad -
- Nissa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rajeev (9/5): I loved staying at the apartment, and would like to stay there again in the future. - The location was very central.
- Sara (9/5): Safe, comfortable, neat place to call a home away from home (3hpirs away). - Dana was absolutely amazing and really responsive with my questions. Very informative and very skilled in his accommodation. I felt very safe and comfortable for travelling by myself to Canberra. I will definitely be back!
- Paul (6/5): Great location but very misleading advertisement . - Best thing about this accommodation was the location. In the heart of the city and still nice and quiet at night. Easy walk to multiple locations around Canberra including the Anzac Memorial, Parliament House etc The room and bathroom was fairly clean even though you had to climb up into the shower. I will be honest in saying that the advertising for this accommodation is misleading. On one hand it states shared apartment but for the room details clearly states that there's a private kitchen and you get it all to yourself.
The truth is you're paying for a room only and the kitchen and main lounge room is shared with other guests and the owner himself. Dana (the owner) is in the shared apartment every day I was there from about 9am to 8pm at night. He has another apartment for himself but for some reason, he was in the shared apartment I stayed in for most of the day and early evening.
The screen door to the shared balcony has no lock which to me doesn't feel secure. My biggest issue is the misleading advertisement as it clearly says the words private kitchen. Lastly the advertisement doesn't state that there is a $20 per day fee for the "private" car park. This should also be in the advertisement.
- Veronica (9/5): Superb -
- Rajesh (10/5): Was amazing experience - Everything is good and host was even better
- Oztravels22 (9/5): Great central shared apartment, with everything you need. - Super easy instructions on getting into the apartment. Dana communicated very well and promptly. Great central location, buses 1 minute walk away, nice kitchen with everything required and a big fridge. The ebsuite room was great, spacious, comfy bed. Shared balcony with the other bedroom with great city views.
I would stay there again for sure. Could hear next door bedroom a bit, so if you get a noisy person in the next room and you're a light sleeper, it might not be great. No issues for me.
- Robert (7/5): Good -
- Michael (10/5): Pleasant - Host was friendly and helpful during the stay A fold out bed would come in handy, but it's not so bad if you bring an inflatable mattress.
- Winona (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rahmatis (8/5): Very good -
- Angie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Farukh (10/5): Clean property at a great location and within budget - Excellent Value for Money. Right at the heart of the City with all shops within few mins of walk. Also met Dana who is an excellent host. I enjoyed our conversation. Thanks for letting me use the cooking accessories and ingredients. Also clean room with Airconditioner. Looking forward to stay in my next trip.
- Muhammad (8/5): Very good -
- Pauline (1/5): won`t be back again and would never recommend it to friends or family staying in Canberra. - we did not get a breakfast. I felt very upset with the accomodation standards. I would not welcome a guest into my house for a stay with such a low standard of comfort and hygiene. It would be an insult to them. The towels you provided were threadbare and the 3 pillows were lumpy and beyond use as pillows. A sheet was not provided for between the doona and bottom sheet which I felt was very unhygienic. There was pink mould growing up the walls of the shower and also broken coat hangers in the sink.
Downstairs when we arrived a coffee table was strewn with crumbs everywhere and someones suitcase opened and their clothing tossed all over the sofa. Just as well I am not a facebook fan as I would be ashamed to offer this sort of accomodation to someone. I felt as if my money had been stolen.
Kmart sell towels for $10.00 and Harris Scarf had good pillows for $16.95 last week . I suggest you stay in your own accomodation and then you will see what needs to be done to bring it up to a good standard. please read above message
- Michael (1/5): Bad - Owner was an aggressive rude man
- Arianna (10/5): Exceptional -

- Faith (8/5): Very good -
- Farzana (9/5): Superb -
- Claire (1/5): Bad -
- Kian (8/5): Very good -
- Brielle (4/5): Disappointing -
- Reina (5/5): We would stay again but would probably go for the Village Hostel’s private room with ensuite, which was my other choice - Its proximity to Canberra Theatre and department stores No telephone number was given for owner so I had no way of letting him know when we were due to arrive.
No tv, radio or usb connection in our room and basic tv stations ABC and SBS were not able to be accessed on the tv in shared space. No way of contacting the off site owner.
Several locks had been pulled off adjoining rooms in our ‘apartment’ and we certainly had a lot of trouble getting the room locks to activate.
- Daniela (7/5): Good - Location The bedroom had some rubbish left from the previous guest
- Hani (1/5): Bad -
- Nina (7/5): Comfortable and very handy to things. - Great location.
- Wayne (9/5): Easy and highly appropriate for my short stay. - Good location , good value - would stay again The steps required to get magnetic key and enter different codes at different times. Loaded up with backpacks at the end of the day is not ideal. In saying that it is a minor concern overall.
- Eileen (7/5): Great stay in comfortable apartment room. - Great central location. Comfortable bed and clean apartment. Good kitchen facilities. Too many numbers/codes for entry - had to look at email every time I needed to get back in. Very stuffy and warm building generally - didn't like that I needed to have air conditioner on even though not really hot outside - using too much power. However, was also grateful to have the air conditioner!
- Pradip (7/5): Good -
- Didi (8/5): Very good -

- Joanne (8/5): Top city location, on suite, can’t ask for more - Liked the on-suite; do not need to share bathroom is a highlight. Cannot think of any? However, to my own experience, that will be good if we also can use codes to access the main entrance of the building. As at one stage , we forgot to take the tag with us. (Luckily, there is another visitor at the same apartment)
Alternatively, a handy hints, stick a little hook next to the door for us to hook the tag next to the door. So that we can place the tag there. Easy reminder. 🤔😅
- Didi (8/5): Very good -
- Scott (1/5): Bad - Nothing it was awful. It was advertised deceitfully. It was not an apartment it was a share house. There was no mention of it being shared accomodation in the advertisement. We were horrified to see a dodgy shirtless guy come out from the bedroom next to ours with his belt undone. His bedroom was right next to ours. There were dirty dishes in the sink and washing hanging around in the lounge room and verandah. The verandah also was accessable to the man in the next bedroom. We felt so unsafe and furious that we had been deceived that we had to leave and make other arrangements. We will be taking steps to get a full refund and hope that booking.com will screen it's bookings more diligently. Everything.
- Vincenzo (8/5): Very good - spacious and private room, really convenient location.
Probably wouldn't book this accommodation if it didn't have an ensuite - very happy that it did Bit annoying that other people in the flat left the fan in their bathroom on. I just turned it off myself but I guess these things come with shared spaces.
- Elizabeth (5/5): Passable - Good location and price. Issues with security, with confusion around door codes, and people in other rooms having the code to my room and entering my room. This was resolved by the host who was overseas after some discussion, but is unacceptable and was stressful for a single female traveller.
- Gregorio (4/5): We had an unsatisfactory experience during this stay. - We had an unsatisfactory experience during this stay. The only positive aspect was the convenient location in the city center. However, upon check-in, we encountered uncomfortable and unacceptable circumstances, including the presence of unknown individuals, shirtless, both lying on the bed with the door open. Not to mention, we had booked for two people, myself and my wife, and there was only one towel provided. As a result, we couldn't stay for even an hour in the accommodation. We tried to resolve the situation but did not receive a refund. As loyal guests, we were disappointed with the lack of proper resolution.
- Alan (8/5): Very good - Great location and very affordable!
- Milan (8/5): Very good -
- Liam (1/5): Bad -
- Yin (6/5): Pleasant -
- Miriam (8/5): Nice location, good for a solo traveller. - Location was great, the room itself was lovely. Clean and bright. The common areas were a bit scuffed and the lock on the door was bit finicky.
- Jeff (8/5): At part from the annoyance, which can happen anywhere, the room was tidy, well-priced and superbly located. - Central location with lots of nearby night-life. The occupant of the room next-door who decided to have a loud conversation on speaker-phone at 3:00am.
- Joanna (8/5): Very good -
- Gan (10/5): There are several bike racks on B3. you can enjoy cycling. - Instruction to access the lift, main entrance, the door of the suit and private room is clear and reasonable. I misunderstood the instruction.
- William (8/5): Very good -
- Zsofia (8/5): Very good -
- Shelly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Clay (3/5): Poor - Nothing No TV reception.. a true duplex is not split share.. advertising is wrong. .. don't stay here
- Sarah (5/5): I wouldn't recommend that appartment, not a good sleep - Very clean It was noisy, very thin walls, kept awake by the neighbors. Bathroom fans next door were very noisy.
- Anonymous (7/5): Good -
- Breanna (8/5): Very good -
- Georgia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Trevor (4/5): Close to city centre but no parking. - Close to town centre The door handle was broken , toilet seat was broken and someone had been in my room.
- Martin (5/5): Passable - Door to room - lock was loose. Handrail upstairs also loose. There's an issue with leaving token on kitchen bench when you need to get out of the garage. Otherwise good.
- Deborah (7/5): excellent support by owner .. much appreciated -
- Gardiner (8/5): Very good - Was right in the main area of Canberra, easy walk to everything. Had a hard time with trying to get into the location, couldn't work the door key pads properly 😅
- Debbie (4/5): close to everything but wouldn’t stay again - good central location on suite was a very high step into the shower and wasn’t very clean, bed was comfortable
