Starr (10/5): Just like home with a family I didn’t know I had - The hosts were the absolute best. They were so helpful and friendly. We didn’t share a common language but managed to communicate. They helped with luggage and when I asked if there was a fan available, the host went out the next morning and bought one for the room. They let me use their washer for my clothes. They brought me a few treats one night. The host was also a driver and I hired him for one day to take me to Guatapé and El Pinol. I also used his service for getting to the airport. Very reasonable price. They were just so warm and welcoming. It felt like home. The house was a short 4-5 minute walk to the San Nicolas mall, which was a wonderful mall. I people watched there every day. The flat had a kitchen so I was able to store drinks and snacks and heat up a few things in the microwave. Nothing. It was wonderful
